  • New Neutral Minion - Prize Vendor

Maybe shaman can mill with the quest? Using Prize Vendor, Banana Vendor, King Mukla and K'thir Ritualist? Looks like a funny meme deck.

  • New Neutral Minion - Showstopper

This has a very different usage to the Owl, and can even be used in the likes of a Silence Priest deck to great effect.

I got the Treasure that fills your board with 1/1 copies of a minion. I copied Eys'or from my opponent and ended the turn with seven 7/7 Eys'or's and gained a bunch of experience. Still lost (the competition is fierce, isn't it?!)

I agree, I would've like to see them working in Casual. I can confirm that at least Wild Casual looks a lot like Ranked these days, but comes without the inevitable decline of your rank while trying to meme the achievements.

  • New Neutral Minion - Knife Vendor

When compared to Shadowbomber, this looks way worse, not to mention that health matters a lot in aggressive mirror matches. Aggressive decks are already designed to deal enough damage to control decks, so I don't see why they'd need to run Knife Vendor, which very easy becomes a liability.

  • New Neutral Minion - Banana Vendor

This legit seems like a worse version of King Mukla, which basically gets you the same amount of stats into play as Banana Vendor plus two bananas for two mana cheaper. Wandmaker and Mukla both serve as better tools for add cheap spells to hand and opponent hand disruption respectively than what Banana Vendor can do.

  • New Rogue Minion - Prize Plunderer

This requires a lot of cards to be played to be meaningful removal, but Prize Plunderer just pales in comparison to cards like Coerce that require less mana and fewer cards.

  • New Neutral Minion - Prize Vendor

A mini Coldlight Oracle, but the fact that it draws one fewer card is a huge detriment to the power of Prize Vendor as you can't as consistently mill your opponent. Novice Engineer fits the bill better if you want cheap card draw.

  • New Shaman Spell - Revolve

It's a worse Evolve and Devolve at the cost of bundling both effects into one card. The issue is, I don't think there are any situations where you want to evolve your board and devolve your opponent's board at the same time, and there are already more efficient evolve and devolve cards in standard with Boggspine Knuckles and Devolving Missiles. I just don't see this card being particularly powerful in any scenario.

  • New Warrior Minion - Bumper Car

Really bad body and the tokens are only good if you have E.T.C., God of Metal. There are just better rush cards and better ping cards that Warrior has access to.

  • New Rogue Spell - Swindle

Naturally pairs with Foxy Fraud for a 2 mana 3/2 draw 2 play. Rogue loves drawing efficiently, and Swindle will allow the class to continue to do so.

  • New Rogue Minion - Foxy Fraud

Not only is this basically a free 3/2 minion, it also activates the combo card you discount. If I know anything about Rogue, they like free tempo and cheap powerful effects, both of which Foxy Fraud provides.

  • New Neutral Minion - Darkmoon Statue

Aggressive natured cards don't lend themselves well to the corrupt mechanic, which is slow in nature. I'd say that applies to Darkmoon Statue, where a 4/5 minion on turn 5 isn't an appealing play, and I'm not even sure the passive effect is that powerful nowadays.

"Sadly these points can not be unlocked in non-rankes it seems like."

IMHO, it's "gladly" rather than "sadly".

  • discard lock

It's really a fun deck if you get the supporting discard and spell packages to go with it.

  • discard lock

Thanks man. I had a really good time with it. Got me to 10 wins.

  • Dragoon Custom Class

    I LOVE this! *Bow*

You thought of EVERYTHING. What the Boom Labs scientist would be, what their Death Knight, Loa, and even their alignment between Explorers/E.V.I.L.! I respect you.

I wonder what roll Vera would've played in the Galakrond's Awakening adventure. Who would she face?

  • Dragoon Custom Class

Next up to be revealed! Remember Dreadtalon from Kobolds and Catacombs? Nothing more than a 1-of deckbuilding challenge originally, the Dragonless effect is now coming back with a vengeance! With 4 cards supporting the package!

  • Rewards Track: Current progress

    Quote From griffior

         - As a paying player, the Rewards Track felt fucking awful to pay for. That's $150 US dollars for one expansion, the Mega-Bundle, the standard pre-order bundle, and the rewards track is what I've paid for this cycle. I cannot fathom why the Rewards Tack wasn't included in the Mega-Bundle, I cannot understand why I can't trade my 30+ Arena Tickets in for the Track. So all that means for me is that I'm not buying both bundles anymore. Wild has become my Format of choice and it's incredibly cheaper in the long run.

Same thought. The mega bundle seems to have lost value. I kinda regret buying it.

Yeah, they don't work in casual, because why would they? Why not let us make crazy achievement hunting decks and play them how we like without wrecking our precious ladder ranking? Why keep kicking us while we're down? Why all the questions?

Before I start, I'm going to make it clear that I'm not for or against the new system because I don't know how my net gold or rewards will look at the end of this expansion cycle.

         - I am currently level 18 (with the XP boost from purchasing) while only playing ~1-2 hours a day so that means, according to this table found here, that I have earned at least 23,400 experience in three days by doing dailies, weeklies, and random achievement bonuses. That being said, an expansion cycle is (typically) 4 months/~120 days. So if we do the math; 23,400 divided by 3 is 7,800. Now multiply that by 120 and we get 936,000, which according to the graph table listed above puts me at maxing out the rewards track. If my math is wrong please correct me, and I'm not making a case for the rewards track, I'm just putting out what I (super capitalized) have gotten to and what I might get to by the end of this cycle.

When the new track was released they filled out our quest bar with 3 normal quests and 3 weeklies (I think that includes the duels quest which awards scholomance packs). So technically you're counting the xp gained in the last 3 days using a metric where you've fully completed 5 dailies and 3 weeklies. Wouldn't be representative

Disclude the achievements xp. Its one time only and its a pain in the arse to complete. I wouldn't use it as a metric anyway.

To properly calculate it, just imagine a week's worth of quest plus a decent amount of playtime xp. The math is readily available in reddit if you're interested. Just add in your 10% boost.

Its not possible to max out without playing at least 5 hours a day. Even with the boost I'm sure its impossible to achieve without committing like full time to it.

Agreed with this. @griffior - do those calculations again at the start of next week, when you don't have the front-loaded dump of all sorts of extra exp to get started. THAT will be the accurate metric of how much exp you will get daily

  • Grand Totem Eys'or is a New Legendary Shaman Totem Revealed for Hearthstone's Darkmoon Faire Expansion

    What about LEGENDARY NEUTRAL SPELLS?

C'Thun, the Shattered shuffles neutral spells in your deck and it's a legendary card so they could also be considered legendary as they're unique

    e.g. Eye of C'Thun

Yeah 5 mana destroy a minion so legendary...

  • Ironforge

Kind of a strange observation, but I like the way the Hearthstone logo is rendered on this one. It's a lot thinner than usual.

  • New Demon Hunter Weapon - Dreadlord's Bite

I feel like this is all of what DH doesn't need right now. One damage AoE isn't that impactful in Hearthstone nowadays and the weapon competes in the somewhat crowded 3-cost slot for DH. I'd run Marrowslicer instead as it offers more relevant damage having more attack not tied to an AoE and fills in the 4-cost slot that is currently lacking in DH.
