I finished the daily quests and it says a hundred gold on the new expansion but it's not giving it to me for instance I have to do 15 destroy minions and it says I've completed 21 out of 15 but I'm not getting a new Quest or the reward is that a bug or is it supposed to be like that
Hey wait a second now... Didn't I get the Tavern Pass when I bought the $80 bundle...? Is Bliz trying to fool me paying 20 bucks to unlock the golden Sylas and Jaina hero or am I missing something?
Tavern pass isn't in the mega bundle, it's separate... I wish we did get the Tavern Pass with the mega bundle... But it's blizzard, and they want the money.

The stat line and effect leans on defense which contradicts usually Hunter game plan. That may find a place in a slower meta, maybe if mid-range deathrattle hunter becomes a thing.
I think I'll pass this first one. The additional skins aren't better than what I already have (1.000 wins Jaina & Lady Vashj) and I want to see for myself if the XP-boost is worth the invest. The Hero skins at level 50 are really nice, though. That will be a tough choice, if I make it there. And if I shouldn't, that's a strong argument to get the Pass for the next expansion.
Nice summary! I like how they opened some new options and how you showed them to us. I think I'll try out a weird built including Bloodmage Thalnos for combos with Felscream Blast and Throw Glaive as well as some swarm tools. I've not even once played Nethrandamus yet and maybe Expendable Performers really is the card to make this work. Thanks for pointing me at Knife Juggler, Demon! That said, the icing on the cake will definitely be slamming down two 5 mana 15/15 Blood Heralds the turn after.
I'm a little less excited about getting the alternate coin now that I see it's not golden and animated. Why wouldn't they make it animated if that's the only way you can get it?
Fun fact: you can already do 2 Darkmoon Faire achievements: Ride Together, Die Together (for Hunter, just activate a Toxic Reinforcements) and Two Punch Man (for Shaman, equip a Doomhammer and cast 2 Rockbiter Weapons, go face).
edit: seems like it does not trigger in constructed Casual mode.
Isn't the entire point of achievements to do something difficult? If they were all things everyone could get in 10 minutes then it would be a hollow victory. Besides, you are getting XP just for spending the time trying so at least you are paid for the procedure as well as the kidney.
As for them being walled behind requiring specific cards, that's pretty much unavoidable with set-specific achievments. I would say the reality of this is a better reason for people to not expect to get them all than how difficult some of them are.
I mean I know the deathrattle womt affect a dormant minion, but I'm wondering if itll keep the deathrattle summon greybough part.
It will not work. For example if you copy Lucentbark with Flobbidinous Floop the copied Lucentbark will awoke as a 4/8 and not a 3/4, loosing everything before getting dormant.
What I would like to know is how much XP do you get per time or per game, per mode? What is the most efficient way to earn XP the fastest? Does the XP bonus with the tavern pass apply to quests and achievements? Does it apply retroactively, meaning I get the bonus XP for the amount I collected up to that point? Or do I get punished for buying it late in the expansion?
There are still a lot of open questions to me.
But I saw you expanded the post, that definitely helps a lot, though I am still not totally clear on all the details. I wish Blizzard would be more transparent. Thanks for putting in all the work though! Much appreciated!
I just realized something disappointing about the new system and the “gold value” of the “challenge a friend” quest- if you do that quest when you’re above level 50, you are essentially gaining 1/3 of the 150 gold for the level you’re on. So at higher levels, that quest is worth 50 gold (and by extension, all the other cheaper quests are worth less too). So lame- really diminishing returns at higher levels on the path. I am assuming for simplicity that one does not have the tavern pass multiplier
I've received a couple comments (out of 4 since I posted the token) that said the token isn't really a Fel Orc, which is weird, since... Well, it's the first image that shows up after googling "Fel Orc".
Back when I played Warcraft 3, Orcs were green until they drank Mannoroth's blood, when they became red.
I know that in Warlords of Draenor, orcs were originally brown, but became green after drinking Mannoroth's blood...
As far as I know, green and red are different stages of corruption, but after reading this comments, I wonder if red orcs stopped being canon or something. Can someone confirm, please?
Hearthstone's New Progression System, the Reward Track, Has Time-Based Experience - XP Per Hour, No Daily Cap... Yet
That seems well below ~400 xp per hour. Seems in line with the ~300 for Battlegrounds but low for what they said above.

My question as well.

yeah, I was a little surprised they didnt mention how much faster it will be with tavern pass, I'd assume probably 1-3 weeks faster to get to 50
The Rewards Track - How Long to Get to Level 50, 644000 Experience Required to Get to Level 150
because, as it has always been, there is only one way to get a golden animated coin and that is to have a full golden deck

Just for notification:
"Challenge a friend. You both earn a reward!" is listed twice in the table ;-)

New Hunter Minion - Dancing Cobra
Good card but seems wasted on hunter.

Too little too late imo, but definitely a very good Arena card

... So, you're telling me that they just revolutionized the REWARD system...
... And they created for that a useless currency?
Seriously? No words.
