While the system doesn't punish ropers, it doesn't really reward them either, since any time played gains XP, so they might as well actually play the game during that time and maybe have some fun.
When it says "resets next expansion", does that mean next week when Darkmoon comes out, or at the end of Darkmoon? Since you can already unlock Darkmoon cards from the progression track, I'm guessing they set Darkmoon as the current expansion and "next" means the first expansion of 2021. But if I'm wrong, it would be really worthwhile to grind this week.
Yeah, I can see it more clearly now. I've made a mistake in my own earlier calculations by not looking harder at the total xp needed to reach level 50. From what I can see now, it will still take around 3 months for anyone not playing this full time to get to level 50. The total gold gained at the end of the 4 months should be around 6k gold + 7 current expansion packs.
Man, looks like we got hoodwinked around 2k gold.
Hope there's enough fire and brimstone generated around so team5 reviews this shit. Otherwise, I might have to review my own involvement with hearthstone in future.
I wrote the reason why there are no followers in the deck. This is meant for the Labs. One of the effects you get from the Lab is the ability to generate followers if your deck has none. You just need to cast two spells on the same turn. That's why i didn't include Funsmith or other cards that would be interesting. I'm going to create a version for ranked play that uses followers later.
the 10% Xp boost only applies per pass, per expansion. So no, you don't get to accumulate xp boost across multiple tavern passes, if that's what you're trying to ask.
Personally I hate this because I got it as my free legendary and I don't play warrior especially not menagerie warrior. But I guess with the support it has this could be semi useful tutoring
a force to be reckoned with. That legendary and the other guy make this a 2/3 divine stampede of death if used in the right order I fear this card with every bit of my body
I got those notices too, but no packs. I think the Legendary quests were from Duels, which as you said: people who pre-ordered already got them. I also saw the quest with the legendary and the classic packs, but have no idea what that's for.
I like it stats could be better sure but its still free minions later in the game although I kind of wish there was a corrupt version that sent bigger bears in

A Guide to Weekly Quests in Hearthstone
Surprisingly, I agree.
So far the progression systems feels good and fresh.
The level 50 skins look good. I wonder if we get the same pool of skins next expac or we get a new set.
The Rewards Track - How Long to Get to Level 50, 644000 Experience Required to Get to Level 150

I think it's still just 3. The 4th slot is reserved for the legendary/event quests.
New Mage Spell - Rigged Faire Game
Works with iceblock or taunts could also be held to use your guys that require you to have one like that etheral guy
New Hunter Spell - Don't Feed the Animals
This just seems terrible it's like smuggle run but worse because it only hits beasts, but hey maybe its great in practice
New Neutral Minion - N'Zoth, God of the Deep
Seems nice you could theoretically get a full board and use those amalgams to fill in any gaps your missing
New Warrior Weapon - Ringmaster's Baton
Even with the support I don't think menagerie warrior is going to work but otherwise its a fine weapon I guess +3/+3 at least
The Rewards Track - How Long to Get to Level 50, 644000 Experience Required to Get to Level 150

New Paladin Minion - Balloon Merchant
Eh seems fine on paper even better with day and that legendary guy after they've popped at least
New Warlock Spell - Wicked Whispers
nice little board buff for the lads the lowest discard make its control able which is nice
New Warrior Minion - Ringmaster Whatley
Personally I hate this because I got it as my free legendary and I don't play warrior especially not menagerie warrior. But I guess with the support it has this could be semi useful tutoring
New Paladin Spell - Day at the Faire
a force to be reckoned with. That legendary and the other guy make this a 2/3 divine stampede of death if used in the right order I fear this card with every bit of my body
New Hunter Minion - Darkmoon Tonk
Seems too clunky to work effectively but I guess with some support it could be a force to be reckoned with
The Rewards Track - How Long to Get to Level 50, 644000 Experience Required to Get to Level 150
Some (few) achievements give rewards of XP, not just points.
New Neutral Minion - C'Thun, the Shattered
I like it I live for stupid combos and this seems right up my alley
The Rewards Track - How Long to Get to Level 50, 644000 Experience Required to Get to Level 150

New Paladin Weapon - Hammer of the Naaru
Cool I guess doesn't fit the faire theme at all but cool nonetheless its also crazy boring since its just a vanilla weapon with a dude attached
New Neutral Minion - Horrendous Growth
Personally, I like it but it is a horrible card that wont do much so eeehhhh
New Neutral Minion - Darkmoon Rabbit
10 mana kill 3 minions sometimes could be worse could be better I guess with deck of chaos this becomes a mighty force though I guess
New Neutral Minion - Fleethoof Pearltusk
I think this is good its either a mini smack or a huge smack and either way it'll be played
New Rogue Minion - Ticket Master
I like it stats could be better sure but its still free minions later in the game although I kind of wish there was a corrupt version that sent bigger bears in
