So i just ran through book of jaina and book of rexxar again because for some reason the quest thing thinks I didnt beat it(got class packs again and all) which is very odd, but not as odd as on the last boss in book of jaina. It let me play two mirror entities at once and they even both procced on the same minion when the boss played one. Is this a normal interaction? Is book jaina allowed to use 2 of the same secrets? It wouldn't let me earlier in the campaign.
Achievement Points are always a "bragging rights" thing. Don't expect to ever be able to "spend" them as they are not a currency.
Maybe they could add in some rewards for hitting specific milestones, but I have high doubts about that as the whole pass itself is where rewards come from now.
Achievement Points themselves do not award experience.
Some achievements will reward point achievement points and XP. You can make the distinction by looking at the achievement itself. If it has a chest, it contains XP and AP.
He also likes to cut off John McIntyre when he was trying to explain, to make his "plays". He seems to be more concerned about winning the show match than actually featuring the cards.
If Blizz wants a player with a huge following to showcase a set, why not get Thijs? He is Mr. positive and a HS OG. Kripp really sucks in these things.
Maybe I missed it but did they say if the skins at level 50 are all unlockable? I know You have to choose one but do I get a chance to get the others later on
Sadly, I don’t think this will work. Lucentbark will not keep Greybough’s buff when he dies and goes dormant nor will Greybough be able to interact with a dormant character. You will see evidence of this when you cast Brawl when a dormant minion is in play as it is immune to all interactions
I would have preferred someone with a little more enthusiasm for the theme of the cards. Watching his facial expressions as John McIntyre explained the thinking behind Confection Cyclone and the Sugar Elementals, like "I'm too old for this", was more than a little disheartening.
Cool reply, your arguments are valid. I would also like Shadowstep to stay untouched, it really is fundamental to many Rogue decks (and it's my fav class). The biggest problem with it was probably Jenkins.
Cool thing about this new powerplay is that it may be key to some less agressive wild Rogue decks in the future.
If Rogue finds a way to consistently out-tempo aggro decks early (and maybe new 4 mana neutral heal could help too), it may become too good for standard meta. We'll see how things unfold. :)
I collect my personal data, how much gold I collect between expansions (Daily Quests + 10g for 3 wins). My average is 7500 gold between expansions.
I recalculated that in current system, 4200 gold from Quests + around 2550 gold for playing time, so 67 level reached in new system.
6750 gold vs 7500 gold, means I will get 90% what I was getting... In other words - current system means 10% less GOLD between expansions for me. Please, don't ask me for all details on calculations, I might create forum thread for that.
I calculated only pure gold gain there. Reward Track gives us - current expansion packs (7) and previous expansion packs (9), I have not taken those into account. Remember, we were getting Legendary Quests for 5-8 new packs, at each expansion start anyways...
EDIT - if we get some small bonus for wins (in XP for Reward Track), I obviously didn't count that, we don't know, how big that bonus is.
It was definitely a bug, but the biggest question I had really was more what is that quest? If no one has ever seen/heard of it before then perhaps it's an upcoming quest line from the expansion launch like I mentioned earlier.
Haven't seen any data mining articles yet about launch quest lines, etc. So maybe we'll see it when people go digging.

Ah, I understand now, thank you! So, it is still unclear what purpose Achievement Points do serve, correct?
Jaina from book of jaina is OP
Both mirror entities were off an arcane keysmith btw

You will eventually unlock all the skins. You just get 1 per pass (at the moment anyway)

Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Druid Cards
I mean I know the deathrattle womt affect a dormant minion, but I'm wondering if itll keep the deathrattle summon greybough part.

Some of the achievements for Duels also award XP - they are easily distinguishable by the chest sign
Hearthstone's New Progression System, the Reward Track, Has Time-Based Experience - XP Per Hour, No Daily Cap... Yet
Just what HS needed, more of an incentive to play to win as much as possible as opposed to playing fun memes that usually are the opposite of that.
Yay

Clicking on every single reward on the track is a bore. There should be a "collect all" button or something.
