Okay, so we get our first tier reward immediately (1 legendary card). Anyone opened this up yet? I'd rather have a random one from the new expansion if possible.
Also, since it resets the next expansion. Does it reset progression when Darkmoon Faire starts on the 17th?
Ok, figure we can try and get the MtG forums going a bit with a fun discussion for anyone who plays here. In standard right now, what do you think the next set of bans will be? Since 4x of Drown in the Loch and 4x Bonecrusher Giant are run in 15 out of the top 20 decks I see those as pretty obvious candidates for the ban bat. Anyone else have any thoughts?
As someone who love Dimir I'll be sad to see that Drown in the Loch go but with so many ways to fill an opponents graveyard early in the game it's too damned powerful. Counter that big spell or spot remove any creature.
The Bonecrusher Giant is stat wise overstated before you have the 2 damage adventure. He hurts your face to remove and he's tough to trade out on curve. If you run red you run 4x of him, no matter what deck. Any time a card stops being optional it's headed for a ban.
Feels too inconsistent to be a card that can be reliably run. Plus, it is the only payoff card for playing a deck with only large minions that I can think of. Might get better as future sets come out with more support.
So with both daily and weekly quests, plus 4 of each instead of three, we will clearly be raking in the XP. I am looking forward to getting a sense for the value of all that XP.
This is very interesting! Some of these will take some real work to get them done! I am hoping once things get going we can develop a sense for the "value" of XP. When I earn 50 or 60 gold, I know what that's worth. I don't know how good 1750 XP is.
Are games with a hero in the brawl no longer valid for daily quests?
Yeah, I didn't get any progress from them either. I hope it's a bug they'll fix later, otherwise it sucks.
And Casual doesn't seem to be good enough for achievements...they're truly forcing ranked.

Before I get downvoted like crazy, yes, I realize that it's still 15,000 gold beyond what the first 50 levels provide. I'm being sarcastic.

Hearthstone's New Progression System, the Reward Track, Has Time-Based Experience - XP Per Hour, No Daily Cap... Yet
Blizzard: "There is no cap. You can earn 150 gold per each level you complete after level 50."
Reality: "Earn 150 gold instantly for each level completed beyond level 50 (up to level 150)."
May not be easily obtainable, but that my friends is a GOLD CAP!

Are these quest only for play mode? I didn't get any completion when playing Arena or Tavern Brawl.

Cool design; helps support the secret package that's going on here. Pirate Hunter Kappa (might be worth trying with secrets and weapons).
