First Outcast weapon. That's kinda cool, but the problem with Outcast on a weapon is that weapons are typically cards that you play on the first chance you get, and they aren't cards that you want to hold in your hand for several turns (with exceptions for weapons that aren't actually weapons), and it's hard to use the Outcast and 3 damage effectively. It's certainly not a bad card, but I think most people will find that they'd rather just use Aldrachi Warblades instead.
Of note here is the fact that the Outcast effect doesn't need to trigger for the +1/+1 buff to happen. Just that the card is played. Maybe that and Line Hopper will encourage players to play Outcast cards when their Outcasts aren't active? Most likely not though since most Outcast cards are stronger than this when in Outcast. Probably not that good.
Rule number #23 of Hearthstone: Never underestimate the power of something that can potentially cost 0. Casting a lot of spells is already something Druid likes to do, and this gives you a 0 mana 4/4 with Rush.
Pretty good for Elemental Mage, although I don't really envision that taking off on this expansion. Maybe the next expansion will give us Elementals? They wouldn't print these Elementals and then not support them later, would they? It's not too easy to Corrupt, but it's honestly not bad in base form.
Seems alright. I don't think it's a standard card but may be alright in the arena. It is interesting how the tokens have taunt thought, but because they only have 1 health it's not that helpful.
Can anyone clarify the prerelease for me?? I can host a fireside gathering at my house, but if I’m alone, I can’t play the fireside games at all. I can’t play online like normal. I can only open my packs. Is my understanding correct???? Please help. I’m not finding any information about this
Even if it doesn't end up being that strong, it's not a fun card to play against. If your opponent already has 6 attack, you're going to be taking a lot of face damage, but also having a large minion that can instantly trade against one of yours feels really bad to play against. I mean it's not even bad to play at 6 mana because it can instantly trade.
This is a neat design for a Corrupt card. Some classes may want the healing depending on the meta, and a 4 mana 3/4 that deals 4 damage is quite strong.
I think that this card is really really strong (as a weapon, not a minion). If you can corrupt this, it is 12 face damage over time for 3 mana, which I think is really strong. It can also be used for trades if necessary, which only makes it better. One of my top 10 cards from the set.
Barrier reads "Negates the next damage the unit would take.", which i interpret as "the unit does not take any damage at all during an attack without any other effects triggered or spells used."
Unscarred Reaver reads "When I survive damage, grant me +3|+0.", which i interpret as "my effect triggers if i lose hp without dying."
Since Barrier has been active, Unscarred Reaver didn't took any dmg. Why did her effect trigger?
I don't think this card would be played in zoo. Maybe with some buffs from Imprisoned Scrap Imp sure, but I find myself thinking this is better as a minor stall for control
It's honestly not that bad. 5 Health is good on turn 4, and the effect essentially gives it a soft Taunt. I wouldn't be surprised if this card does better than expected. It's actually a pretty good card for new players too.
I had a reminder set for today so that I won't miss the Twitch drops event. I'm posting this to remind you to do so because I can't find a recent article on that. Here's the link to the last article having information on that (scroll past the first image to find it):
I don't see this being too good. It doesn't look like a bad card, but then you realize Kirin Tor Mage is better in almost every way.
If you play a Secret with this on turn 3, then you basically just played a Kirin Tor Mage with 2 less Attack. You're not going to play this on turn 2 because you want the effect to do something. It could hypothetically survive multiple turns and trigger the discount multiple times, but I don't think this is better than just Kirin Tor Mage most of the time since it will usually die in one turn.
So good! I've played my share of thief priest and burgle rogue, and I always run Nightmare Amalgam to help with synergies. This is significantly better!
Along with Wriggling Horror, these might be the two Neutral Commons that every uses. A 4 mana 4/5 with Taunt is really good, and it's especially good for classes that don't have good Taunts, and its tribal synergy is really strong.

Upvoted, favorited, enshrined, revered and... appreciated.
New Druid Minion - Umbral Owl
Rule number #23 of Hearthstone: Never underestimate the power of something that can potentially cost 0. Casting a lot of spells is already something Druid likes to do, and this gives you a 0 mana 4/4 with Rush.
New Neutral Minion - Wriggling Horror
uuuh, good aggro card. Zoolock will love this.
New Neutral Minion - Showstopper
Now that's a weird card, maybe it's usefull? I don't know, at least it's kinda unique.
New Mage Minion - Firework Elemental
Pretty good for Elemental Mage, although I don't really envision that taking off on this expansion. Maybe the next expansion will give us Elementals? They wouldn't print these Elementals and then not support them later, would they? It's not too easy to Corrupt, but it's honestly not bad in base form.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Renowned Performer
Seems alright. I don't think it's a standard card but may be alright in the arena. It is interesting how the tokens have taunt thought, but because they only have 1 health it's not that helpful.
New Demon Hunter Spell - Throw Glaive
Good tool against Anti-Aggro, but otherwise it's lackluster as a card.
Madness at the Darkmoon Faire

barrier + "take dmg" card - gamemechanic question
Hi there,
i had a weird interaction in a recent game that i don't understand.
Unscarred Reaver on the board. Brightsteel Protector gets played and grants the Unscarred Reaver Barrier.
Enemy attacks with Reckless Trifarian and Unscarred Reaver blocks the attack, knowing that the Barrier will keep the unit alive.
Attack resolves and Unscarred Reaver triggers it's effect, gaining +3 attack.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Redeemed Pariah
The growth potential of this card is promising, although DH decks would need to make use of more outcast cards for this to take off
New Warlock Minion - Midway Maniac
I don't think this card would be played in zoo. Maybe with some buffs from Imprisoned Scrap Imp sure, but I find myself thinking this is better as a minor stall for control
New Neutral Minion - Fantastic Firebird
It's honestly not that bad. 5 Health is good on turn 4, and the effect essentially gives it a soft Taunt. I wouldn't be surprised if this card does better than expected. It's actually a pretty good card for new players too.
Twitch drops TODAY (12th of November)
Guys,
I had a reminder set for today so that I won't miss the Twitch drops event. I'm posting this to remind you to do so because I can't find a recent article on that. Here's the link to the last article having information on that (scroll past the first image to find it):
Theorycrafting Livestreams & Twitch Drops
Cheers!
New Neutral Minion - Inconspicuous Rider
This should be a very good card. A great example of the edge that battlecry has over deathrattle (since it costs one more than Mad Scientist.
New Mage Minion - Game Master
I don't see this being too good. It doesn't look like a bad card, but then you realize Kirin Tor Mage is better in almost every way.
If you play a Secret with this on turn 3, then you basically just played a Kirin Tor Mage with 2 less Attack. You're not going to play this on turn 2 because you want the effect to do something. Just play Kirin Tor Mage instead.
New Rogue Spell - Swindle
Really great draw from Rogue, surprisingly enough. I'm sure it'll see play, if not this expansion, then the next
New Neutral Minion - Circus Amalgam
So good! I've played my share of thief priest and burgle rogue, and I always run Nightmare Amalgam to help with synergies. This is significantly better!
New Neutral Minion - Knife Vendor
Yeah, probably not. Symmetrical damage like this is not great.
New Neutral Minion - Circus Amalgam
Along with Wriggling Horror, these might be the two Neutral Commons that every uses. A 4 mana 4/5 with Taunt is really good, and it's especially good for classes that don't have good Taunts, and its tribal synergy is really strong.
New Neutral Minion - Costumed Entertainer
Damn that would be a spicy combo! I might try that!
