Thank you for this exchange of opinions. It is interesting that players have different views on lore/gameplay etc. and we can talk about our views :)
No problem. That's what these forums are for more than anything else. I kind of wish everyone who disagreed with me left a comment rather than (just) a down-vote. There's a lot both sides can learn from discussion that simply doesn't exist with an anonymous and unexplained down-vote.
As a final note on recycled characters, I completely agree that it leads to a bit of a disconnect from the fantasy of commanding a little army of characters. In practice however that fantasy is nearly always thrown out the window in favour for win rates anyway. Take something as simple as using SI:7 Agent in Lackey rogue. It makes good sense mechanically but why would the SI:7 be helping the League of EVIL? They wouldn't, and that's surely just as wrong as having the same character appear twice.
Liked both ideals, but Liadrin, Fallen Lady works best for me. Maybe is possible reduce her cost a bit to 7 or 6 without making her broken, because she don't affect the board without a minion with Divine Shield in play or a minion being cast in the same turn. Anyway, solid card, I liked.

A permanent [Hearthstone Card (azzinoth warglaive) Not Found] effect with +6 Attack for 6 sounds a bit to much to me. Maybe change to +4 Attack or increase the cost to 8?

Liked both cards, but I prefer Mannaroth. The card look balanced to me and have sinergy with the self inflicted damage package of Warlock. Loved.

Interesting idea! The HP is very powerful, but if you think that the Hero will go away in some point, I think is ok.

Really liked Cenarius, but Druid don't receive god AoE in a while, so thia parte can be a donwside.
While I think the character development part that you showed with Elise is indeed interesting, from perspective of the gameplay it is still in my opinion a little bit weird for the same character to appear multiple times on different cards in the same game. Nat, the Darkfisher is fine, since it is an alternative univesre version of Nat Pagle, while as I mentioned Lady Liadrin is identical to her portrait in terms of lore and card theme.

It can easily be a minion. And even if its a spell, if it curves into this, or after this, then it wouldn't matter. The point is to ideally have a board of totems when this is played.
Sobject 9 and this are not comparable. Subject 9 is not used because Mage has plenty of ways to pull secrets from their deck (Mad Scientist, Arcanologist, Ancient Mysteries), what you want is access to the burn in your deck. Normally you use Aluneth and it draws you like 6-9 cards that you want, then starts killing you. If this draws you around 6 cards it's arguably better than Aluneth because of the body and much better tempo.
How many non-basic Totems are played even in a dedicated Totem Shaman list? Not that many... And you have to asume, that most likely there won't be more than one Tick.
Amazing for totem shaman. Great buff, and amazing target for Totemic Reflection for even more buffs. Just a shame it can't buff itself, but at least it can buff copies of itself. (Even though shaman NEEDS something OP in order to get a good deck again.) But Grand Totem Eys'or is only the SECOND shaman card revealed so far, so we'll see if it gets any more support. Maybe we will see a "battlecry: summon a copy of this minion" kinda totem or something? But the unfortunate thing about totem shaman, is that a bunch of totem cards are going to rotate soon.
Standard: This will see play in totem shaman, but how good it will be depends on what kind of support it's going to get this expansion.
Wild: ODD Costed, but i don't think ODD Shaman wants this. ODD Shaman prefers FACE damaging with spell damage basic totems, and other spell damage minions. If it was EVEN costed though, then it would have been way better. But it might also see play in some kind of Totem shaman in wild. I'm not sure how good that deck will be, but that deck might see some experimentation at the very least.
Its certainly an auto include into totem decks, but I don't think its really any good outside of that.
I still think shaman loses board too easily, and this card looks to me more like a win-more card that snowballs but played from behind is about as useful as a deep pocket with a hole in it.
There's still plenty of shaman cards unrevealed, so my fingers are crossed for a better early game and some board swinging cards.
Its definitely something, and certain to be in every totem shaman deck. The fact that it can't buff itself is a small note, though if you manage to land Totemic Reflection on it then it will secure at least a +1+1 on each.
Unfortunately, its quite useless outside of a dedicated totem deck. If you're not running at least 4 totem cards in your deck along with something like Totemic Reflection and Splitting Axe, this one does very little aside from being a soft taunt.
It may be just me, but unless we see some card that swarms the board with tiny totems, or a better early game for shaman, this one falls quite flat in the water. The buffs are nice, but shaman tends to lose board way too easily, and this card doesn't solve that problem.
Year after year they are improving totems as a tribe to be considered creating a new archetype pretty interesting. This card will, for sure, have a true impact on this kind of decks. I'd totally fall in love with it if also buff your totems from hero power but I know that this would be insane.

There are a lots of support for totem shaman.
Trick Totem,EVIL Totem,Totem Goliath, Runic Carvings, Splitting Axe, Totemic Reflection and Totemic Surge.
Plus the classics Flametongue Totem, Mana Tide Totem and Totemic Might.
Grand Totem Eys'or is a good addition for sure but, is enough? Totem shaman is annoying, but not worth deck actually.
I expect that 1 or 2 more totem cards will be revealed with that set.
