Seems pretty good.  The backfire potential with this card is going to be hilarious with steal rogue and priest plus Yogg mage summoning this into play at the worst time possible.  A lot of players are going to be milling cards or drawing extra fatigue.  This looks like a small nerf to all Yogg type cards.  Really well designed card.

Secret mage back in standard again!

Fairly strong, but I'm not sure that secret mage prefers this to similarly mana efficient cheaper cards.

I don't think that this sees play, but it's definitely interesting.

Kirin Tor Mage into Secret into proc or Occult Conjurer is one hell of a curve, especially with Cloud Prince as an on-curve play in case of missed proc.

Why does rigging the game draws you 3 cards if you weren't hit? my guess is cause they didn't even try it's rigged so the one running the game "wins" and draws 3 cards?

Again the 2 mage cards revealed this expansion so far (this and Ring Toss) have weird flavor why do they exactly do what they do when they have that name + art? team 5 normally makes sense for characters or spells doing what they do for a reason.. maybe it would make sense in an adventure setting, this card would make much more sense if you drew 3 cards if you were hit last turn.. cause then you scammed your opponent with your unfair game.

Anyway this card: it's not good by itself it offers you +1 draw over arcane intellect but it's not only delayed but also not guranteed to happen I think this card is very bad cause of that fact.. also vs aggro you will have hard time triggering this, while vs control you might not what the draw as much unless you are a combo deck and then it's only a card you want vs control/slow midrange decks.

4 mana 8/8 is pretty good for stats, even if it's across two bodies. And Mage has plenty of secrets that they're opponent might not trigger so you can play her on curve. 

You might finally have to make your opponent ask themselves - do I activate their secret or do I face 2 4/4's?

I did not like this expansion when it first dropped and struggled to find what I wanted to do with it after losing countless games with the deck that carried me to gold last season, I nearly quit. Then I built a deck specifically to deal with star spring bullshit and I’ve won 70% of the games against star spring since then. I have howling abyss in my deck I didn’t think much of it at first but the free extra card per turn just pushing me over the top my goal is to stall my opponent and then grind them down. Had to add some aggression to my deck after getting 3 +20 round games but now I am able to knock down deep and Sol decks and live long enough to mostly stall aggro. I built to fight star spring didn’t think I would enjoy that but i am.

Landmarks feel very powerful to me. But with star spring reducing the appearance of aggro decks I guess I’m ok with it

What deck are you using that uses Howling Abyss and is able to deal with star spring decks?  I find star spring decks IMMENSELY annoying to deal with because they just sit there grinding out wins with Tahm and Soraka, and then use sorakas wish to either prevent clears or to win instantly.

But this gets covered by the other Secrets: So you play around this, by trying to damage the Mage? Too bad, the secret was not [Hearthstone Card (Rigged Fair Game) Not Found] but Counterspell or Flame Ward and now your board is gone.

Or you can't deal even damage to the Mage because Ice Barrier gets triggered, but you have less than 8 damage (not sure if it works this way though).

Trump confirmed in his latest video that minions that got rush as an enchantment (From Animated Broomstick and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius) DO count as rush minions, and trigger E.T.C., God of Metal. So that's nice!

Secret mage might finally become viable again. Not sure if this is good enough to completely replace Aluneth in wild, though.
