  • Blizzard Nerfs Three Death Knight, Demon Hunter, & Paladin Cards in Surprise Hearthstone Patch

Surprise? Aleco said ther migh be nerfs on twitter like 2 days ago...

  • New Paladin Minion - Kangor, Dancing King

I unpacked a signature version of this bad-boy on day 1: Pretty stoked !

After Dr. Boom's involvement with the League of EVIL, Kangor cut ties with the Boomsday Labs and began pursuing his true passion - DISCO!!!

  • Nerf Predictions for Festival of Legends

The devs hear you, so they went ahead and nerfed one DK card, one DH card, and one Paladin card. Fixed, lol!

Going to leave this revamped version here for future feedback.

  • New Warlock Minion - Rin, Orchestrator of Doom

Rin's orchestra is the best of the best. When your replacement is just one summoning away, you have to play perfectly.

  • New Warlock Spell - Symphony of Sins

I love the design, concept and the various uses of this card. Can't wait to steal it from an unsuspecting Warlock with a Thieft Priest or Rogue deck..! It would then be a Bitter-sweet Symphony of Sins ^^

Makes for some killer final boss music.

  • New Mage Minion - DJ Manastorm

Possibly one of the coolest artwork for a signature card to this date, also a pretty interesting effect. Brace yourself, OTKs are coming!

Do not sleep on his Tinker Town deep house set - absolutely legendary.

  • New Shaman Minion - Inzah

I just like how they went all in with their Jazzy-puns and all the cool cats!

Inzah plays the trumpet, saxophone, piano, guitar, AND bass. No wonder he's always so overloaded!

  • New Shaman Spell - JIVE, INSECT!

It's effectively playing Ragnoras at a discounted price, for as long as you already had a minion on board - kinda scary!

"WHY IS NO ONE JIVING? I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED IT!"

  • New Neutral Minion - Pozzik, Audio Engineer

"I'm down here, fixin' all the Gnomish tech that breaks down mid-set while that buffoon Fizzle is up there taking pictures of the sky. YOU tell ME who's the better engineer!"

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Halveria Darkraven

You know someone's cool when their name sounds like a font.

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - Rush the Stage

What's a prime rush target for this card? Good question indeed .. ^^

Left Shark, get to the stage now!

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Snakebite

Unless it is played along with SECURITY!! I doubt it'll see play

Don't look her in the eyes or you'll turn to ROCK!

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - SECURITY!!

Mandatory new Outcast to go along with their subtle push for Outcast DH to work, and not a bad one too!

Check all of the boxes that contain VENGEANCE to play this card.

  • MARVEL SNAP Announces April Series Drop - 8 Cards Moving Down!

Maybe they finally nerf Shuri now.

Hero power Druid has a sub 40% win rate, I would be very surprised to see it nerfed

Yea agreed, I played HP druid a couple times and lost all my games, it's a trash deck and the current win rate on HSReplay reflects that.

Sounds like you dealing with a bug coz Kangor doesn't go back to hand if there's no minions in hand, at least that how I've experienced games.

Personally Kangor doesn't bother me but I've only played against it twice so not enough data to make an objective opinion.

Right now I'm only struggling against already refined decks like Frost DK coz they lost nothing. Aggro Pure Paladin is also a pain coz I feel the deck just got better. At the time of writing, Paladin is no. 1 but the best deck isn't running Kangor.

As for nerfs, it's tough to say what exactly is a problem as the meta is still quite fresh so I'll give some card opinions in the next week or so.

I think you're right.  I did Twisting Nether because my opponent's hand was empty.. but it went back anyway.  That DOES sound like a bud since it's text specifically calls out "SWAP".

That being said, it is still super annoying to continually pump out lifestealing minions that preserve the mid-end game and allows them to get set up for the combo/control fight

Kangor is legendary and paladin does not have a decent way to tutor it out, so this is most like a bad luck from your side. Also, a 5 mana 3/3 is not that threatening

I mean for me, while I don't think the deck is winning hard against anyone else most likely, hero power druid is basically an instant loss if you play anything resembling control. They gain so much life that you can't actually work through their armor, and they do it while slamming your face and/or removing any threat you put on the board. I would not be surprised if the deck loses to a lot of the top dogs in the meta but for my shitty Tess rogue and things like it, I don't know how to handle the amount of armor and damage they get entirely for free every turn.

I'd imagine the armor and attack minions will get the deathrattle removed to keep it from being over abused by Unending Swarm.  Because of the ability to pull all 4 of those beasts out, have them die, then bring them back 2 more times making your armor and attach gain from the Hero Power too dominating.

I totally agree that something should be done about that.

Feedback time. It's hard to feel the motivation to do this when so few people are part of this now, but here I go. I think maybe I'll change Cobalt Harpy to be 8 mana worth of spells.

    Wailor
I do like the weird plays and stat values this card can probably produce and I think it's probably a fun design, so good job.

    AeroJulwin

Beach Lurker is amusing, but I would probably agree that I don't think something like this is particularly likely to win the competition.

Harmonic Melody is a cooler design, even though Priest does already have a Harmonic card.

    Anchorm4n
I appreciate the "ping-pong" pun (ping pong pung?), as well as the mini-Zilliax vibes of the card. Great job.

    Neoguli
Decent card in concept, but as noted, it should be 3 arrows.

  • How To Beat Eternal Aggro - Case Study

So before I showcased one of the best aggro decks in the eternal format.

Essentially hard core pirate aggro that makes the old versions look like joke when it comes to pure speed and responsiveness.

But how do you beat it?

Well its actually exceptionally easy I'll list the cards for each region:

Feijord: 3 of blighted ravine, 3 tavern keepers, 3 avorosan, and 3 catalyst (ramp) you're basically guaranteed any slower freijord deck will manage okay sometimes in the aggro matchup

Ionia: got its own 4 drop tavern keeper in the new set, you have your standard ryze tools essentially burst followers and dragonlings.

But I think low key the best Ionia tools are the simple ones people sleep on like palm and face smash. It pound for pound punishes development more than anything else.

P and z: really shouldn't struggle into aggro ever, it's the ping region it's all pings

Noxious: better at dealing with midrange threats but flock is still the best one mana card in the game

Bandle: goes wide better than any other region

Shadow: its again the cards that people don't use, 5 mana deal 2 to two followers is big value, or maybe it's just tripple vile tripple go hard.

The point is that eternal has a massive card pool with so many good cards to chose from and given the diversity of the format the relative power of "Bad cards" is much higher.

@AeroJulwin - so the number on "[x]" left!" is the number of total uses? I thought it was the number of additional uses. :D

@anchorm4n - I wanted to find art of multiple arrows like a scatter shot, but to no avail. Maybe finding gun art will ease the task.

  • New Shaman Spell - Altered Chord

At a discount, this can be a flexible single target removal, and the lifestealing boost ain't too shabby either.

I'll never understand how bands and orchestras allow musicians that just…. play... off-key. Would love opinions on this.

  • New Shaman Spell - Pack the House

It may be slow and random, but that's a lot of stats generation for a mere 7 (+2 overload) mana crystal; way to repopulate a board!

How many Pack the Houses would a pack house if a pack could house Pack the House?

  • New Shaman Minion - Flowrider

Her music sounds a lot better underwater where you can't hear it at all.
