  • New Demon Hunter & Warlock Minion - Spirit Jailer

This card is a double edged sword: on one hand, a 1 mana 1/3 will help most control decks to start spamming Soul Fragments into thier deck while fighting for the board. On the other, for control decks, it will mess up the big demon synergies those decks want to have.

For more tempo oriented decks, it's just another early game play.

  • New Neutral Minion - Intrepid Initiate

Very powerful with The Coin or any cheap spell. Imagine playing this turn one into Adorable Infestation on turn 2. This kind of reminds me of that one pirate in Mean Streets who had +2 attack when you had a weapon, only spells are a lot more universal than weapons, so I imagine this guy will be just as good if not better.

The Studies seem good. Sometimes you might get a bad Deathrattle minion in the pool, but then you just... don't pick it and pick something else. If all your choices were bad, then just pick the least bad (or best for current situation), and you just got a bit unlucky. You still get to play one of your Deathrattle minions that you put into your deck on purpose out faster, so it's still a win.

  • New Neutral Minion - Tour Guide

Hero Powers are generally worth 0 mana, slap them onto a 1/1 and you have a decent 1 mana card. The only downside to this card is that you have to spend a card doing a thing you could already do without spending a card. Maybe if it said "Battlecry: Trigger your Hero Power" then it would be more playable. I don't think it is a bad card as it is, but not great. I really like these kinds of effects that mess with your hero power, but none of them have really been any good.

  • New Hunter Spell - Overwhelm

    That art is freaky.

The effect could be strong with something like Unleash the Hounds effectively making this a 1 mana "destroy a minion" card, so it might be decent.

I love it! I love it! Bring on the RNG!!!!

  • New Neutral Minion - Manafeeder Panthara

Synergy with Genn in wild. It also works really well with Demon Hunter obviously. I think this will be played in decks like Control Warlock or Control Priest which are really slow and generally just "press the button" for the first few turns. This lets them have some form of early game presence and draw cards. Probably not, but maybe.

  • New Hunter Minion - Krolusk Barkstripper

    Staff

The name is really weird, but the effect is really strong. I expect to see this played.

Pretty much every Deadly Shot on a minion has seen play at some point, and this has a better stats:cost ratio than a lot of those cards. Casting a spell is not that difficult of a requirement.

Oh cool, Myra's Unstable Element for Mages.

Yeah, not sure what that was all about but it sounds like there's going to be something juicy in the patch notes

  • New Neutral Minion - Sneaky Delinquent

It's good in stealth rogue for sure, but don't sleep on this card in other decks as well eg. Face Hunter. It's a 2 minion, 4 mana fireball, face decks will eat that stuff up.

  • New Mage Minion - Wyrm Weaver

    Pro

Very highroll/lowroll card. The kind of deck that would run this (lots of cheap spells) can straight up kill you if you don't remove those wyrms. But how hard is it to kill a couple 1/3's after turn 5?

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue where site supporters would sometimes not receive Discord rewards.
  • New Neutral Minion - Keymaster Alabaster

Hey, There is Glide in standard, we just need a source of coin or discount and all will be ok. Maybe with Escaped Manasaber, I don't know but there must be a way to abuse this in standard.

Too situational since Glide's draw effect is Outcast but worth try i guess.

Edit: I made it in a hurry so it's probably a crap deck but did thought that it might be possible with Skull of Gul'dan.

  • New Hunter Minion - Bloated Python

    Staff

It's like a Nerubian Egg that can attack without extra help needed, but it costs 1 more. It's also a Beast, so it seems pretty good.

  • New Hunter Spell - Carrion Studies

    Pro

I think all the Studies cards will be worth playing, this one included. Sure, you'll whiff on the Discover sometimes, but you still get the discount on your next minion.

  • New Hunter Minion - Wolpertinger

    Staff

Alleycat was a good card that saw play. This is a card that's pretty much strictly better, therefore it will see play.

Did you handbuff this? Not a problem, it's good when you do.

  • New Neutral Minion - Divine Rager

I live for the day Blizzard decides to make Ragers an archetype.

  • New Neutral Minion - Sneaky Delinquent

Pretty good in Stealth Rogue, you could also use her just as an (almost) guaranteed 6 damage in any aggro deck. Honestly these "ghost" cards seem to get more and more playable as they get cheaper.

    How the turntables...

  • New Hunter Minion - Wolpertinger

    Pro

Yeah, like others have said, Alleycat but better because of handbuffs. Play your cards right, and you can Tundra Rhino your way to an OTK with this. Plus it's freaking adorable!

  • New Druid Minion - Gibberling

    Staff

Cute, but I'm not sure if it's great.

You definitely can get a board full of these and buff them extremely early in the game, but that feels like it might be too niche.

  • New Neutral Minion - Ogremancer

The card itself isn't good obviously, but the mana pools for summoning random minions just keeps getting more insane.  We have seen creative expansions in the past but nothing like this!

  • New Demon Hunter & Hunter Minion - Blood Herald

Will not work, neither hunters nor demon hunters draw enough cards to have big hands that can consistently have it early/mid game. You will most likely be top decking it mid-game sometime, and it just won't have enough impact coming out. Things which buff themselves when X happens in your hand have never been good in hearthstone, and have sometimes even been some of the worst cards of their sets. I view this card with the same gaze I give to Blubber Baron.

  • New Druid Spell - Partner Assignment

    Staff

Played on turn 1, it's really strong. After that though, it falls unless you're lucky enough to get a Taunt Beast later in the game. Generating 2 cards with 1 mana though is nothing to scoff at no matter what it's generating, and as a 1-Cost spell, it's good for some Spellburst effects and for Kael'thas.
