Haha, better Wee Spellstopper. With how much AoE there is, the effect isn't as strong as it could be, although it will still be annoying for your opponent to deal with sometimes. I'm a bit doubtful of it seeing play though since it requires you to control a few decent sized minions before it really gets good value.
The ability isn't bad. It could be used as a way for any class to Discover a spell, although it's not that good for the Spell Damage since you typically want those to be as cheap as possible unless it's Malygos.
Love this card. Just a solid 5 drop with a decent deathrattle.
If it didn't have taunt this card would be unplayable, but it has, so it merits some thought. This alongside with Twilight Runner (druid exclusive unfortunately) would be main reasons for playing Guardian Animals.
Am looking forward to playing deathrattle hunter and this card will certainly be in my list.
Ephemeral deck is like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too strong. The stats are way over the top, Zed is such a huge power card, Dawn and Dusk gives a lot of value, the deck also has a lot of really good finishers such as Hecarim, Kinkou Lifeblade.
Overall, I think it's fine. The other decks actually do still have a good chance, some are just harder to play than the others. For example, the Poros deck is hard to beat because of the Frostbites and could potentially slam the Nexus with a 60/60 Heart of the Fluft with Overwhelm and Elusive. The VladBADCARDNAME one sucks tho lol. I take that back, that deck has quite a bit of Overwhelm.
Glad to see so many folks digging the new Spirit Blossom Lab. Also noticed that the Certain Death deck is a little *too* certain. We've patched out some tweaks to it which should put its winrate in a healthier / less crushing spot. Help us experiment by giving it a shot!
I don't think I will ever stop being impressed with how dedicated Riot is against negative player experience in this game.
I saw that too, and I first heard of it from my friend actually who started playing the Lab and I just told him that Dawn and Dusk is a really dumb card and absolutely busted. But he said that he couldn't find it no matter how many games he played. I didn't even realize they had updated it at all because it was way too quick. It was literally a day or less after it came out. So I agree with you, those guys always like to hotfix a certain busted mechanic/tactic after the patch comes out, but that's from my experience in TFT.
It can be an Elven Archer for Mage, a Lost in the Jungle for Paladin, and... that's actually it. It is a worse Kobold Librarian in Warlock, although it still isn't bad. It's actually a decent turn 1 play for Paladin too.
A pretty good Neutral Common, especially in Demon Hunter with their 1 mana Hero Power. Even decks in Wild could use it pretty well too. I reckon we'll see quite a bit of it, especially in DH in Standard.
First of all, the art clearly shows that its either demon or beast. Unless its actually a were-demon, so we're expected to treat this as human. What balancing reasons there must be for this to be neither will be known only to team5.
What more can be said except this card is thoroughly shit. If it gains the stats while being in the deck then there may yet be hope for this thing, but instead it needs to first be drawn, then have minions dead for it to be good, and then it cost 5 mana. There's not even a guarantee that the card wont just die to a spell, assuming you can even get this to a respectable 6/6 by turn 5 anyway.
One thing going for this is that its a terrible card to be targetted by Headmaster Kel'Thuzad so there's that. Aside from this, its also a terrible 5 drop for Jandice Barov.
I reckon it'll probably be experimented with in SD Mage or Shaman, and then probably subsequently dropped by most of them. The payoff is pretty good and maybe easier to get off due to the new synergy, which is why it'll be experimented with. But then it might get dropped because this isn't the type of payoff the deck really wants.
Flavor fail for one thing. Next up it’s Hagatha hero card with (hopefully) more healing but no lasting effect.
Im a control shaman main and I can tell you the card suffers because it can be a little late to save your ass unless your Scheme or whatnot has saved you already. Alternatively yes it can be the nail in the coffin to aggro if you do wipe their board late with this and heal up.
It gives you two extra minions which could then be buffed by something like Into the Fray or [Hearthstone Card (Armegadillo) Not Found], which could be decent. That said, it probably won't see that much play.
There was a time where Grim Necromancer was somewhat considered in standard and this one's very nearly 2 times as big.
Its a good card, but in a sea of other good cards I can't find a place for it in any deck. Maybe token dhunters? There's just better cards than this in most decks you'll find, and this has the burden of only being good when outcasted.
It's decent as Rush Warrior support. Not as much as Town Crier which is vaguely similar, although it's not too bad.
That said, in Wild, you'd probably just play Town Crier instead. In Standard, I'm not sure where this goes, but getting Rush minions is decent as it can always do something.
Its actually quite useful a card, since it effectively tutors and activates an outcast card. Might find a place in control dhunters, perhaps with Glide or Skull of Gul'dan as the only outcast card in the deck. Same application in a big dhunter deck.
One of the few good cards that can nearly never see play in tempo dhunters. I like it.
Remember Dark Possession? The 1 mana Discover a Demon card with a downside?
This just wipes the floor with that card in every single way. Theoretically, it could be really useful with Jaraxxus since it would allow you to get a 6/6 out on the same turn as Jaraxxus himself. That might not make Jaraxxus good again, but it will certainly help him out quite a bit. It seems like one of the less good Study cards, but it might still find a home since the effect is still good.
The major problem here is that the tokens are only 1/2 bodies with taunt, meaning the are certainly value traded by just about any minion, easily swept by AoE, and can't hide behind a taunt. Its basically a useful anti aggro tool in most cases, and realistically will be 0 costed by turn 5 or so.
I dont think its good enough to be honest. The only application I can think of is to play this along with Wrathscale Naga with a simpering hope that the opponent got a stroke and blindly trade in without first destroying the naga. What made Corridor Creeper so strong (prenerf) was simply because its a 5/5 minion after a board trade or board wipe, which not only imposes pressure, is suitably resistant to removal and trades. This, unfortunately, is not.
The healing potential is insane, although it also seems really slow on 8. Then again, Hagatha had the same AoE damage on 8 mana and that saw play, so maybe this will as well.
This actually seems pretty good since it effectively offers a free trigger of Spell Damage for up to 3 turns (you do pay 2 mana for the weapon on turn one if you choose to use it that turn, but still). It's really good for all your Spell Damage triggers, and the weapon can even be used to take out some minions.
Strong card. I like it.
It's also an effect I've made on weapons before, so I like it even more for that reason.

This is a concept I've seen so many times on fan-made cards, so it's cool to see it finally in the game.
At it's base form, it's... okay. Not horrible, but it's not that great either. This card lives and dies by how often you can get Spell Damage and this spell off with one of those minions on the board. In Shaman, there's always the chance you get Wrath of Air Totem from your Hero Power, although that's a bit of an RNG gamble, though it does make it slightly better.
My first impression is its a pseudo rush card. Drop your minions, equip this, then rush down the target.
I feel this finds a home in a token based DH deck where you don't really care if your minions/token value trades. Token decks have more value when minions die.
A bit of a pun there since "cutting class" usually refers to the act of not going to class whereas this card appears to depict a class that's literally about cutting things.
Most weapons that are run usually have around 2 or more base Attack, so it evens out to an Arcane Intellect. Although with all the buffing you can do, you can get this dirt cheap. For aggressive weapon decks, this seems like it'd be pretty good.
New Neutral Minion - Robes of Protection

New Druid & Hunter Minion - Teacher's Pet
Love this card. Just a solid 5 drop with a decent deathrattle.

Ok the new Lab is just stupid.
I saw that too, and I first heard of it from my friend actually who started playing the Lab and I just told him that Dawn and Dusk is a really dumb card and absolutely busted. New Neutral Minion - Voracious Reader
Aw, she doesn't eat the books? She's not very voracious then (and that was your shitty joke for the day).
Seems like it would be really strong in super, super face decks that vomit their whole hand no problem since it's an easy refill of 3 cards.
New Neutral Minion - Tour Guide
It can be an Elven Archer for Mage, a Lost in the Jungle for Paladin, and... that's actually it. It is a worse Kobold Librarian in Warlock, although it still isn't bad. It's actually a decent turn 1 play for Paladin too.
Hunters could also use it with Phase Stalker or Dragonbane. Has potential to be good.
New Neutral Minion - Manafeeder Panthara
A pretty good Neutral Common, especially in Demon Hunter with their 1 mana Hero Power. Even decks in Wild could use it pretty well too. I reckon we'll see quite a bit of it, especially in DH in Standard.
Also, River Crocolisk is crying in the corner again.
New Demon Hunter & Hunter Minion - Blood Herald
First of all, the art clearly shows that its either demon or beast. Unless its actually a were-demon, so we're expected to treat this as human. What balancing reasons there must be for this to be neither will be known only to team5.

will really have to see this one in action
New Warrior Spell - In Formation!
It gives you two extra minions which could then be buffed by something like Into the Fray or [Hearthstone Card (Armegadillo) Not Found], which could be decent. That said, it probably won't see that much play.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Vilefiend Trainer

One of the few good cards that can nearly never see play in tempo dhunters. I like it.
New Warrior Weapon - Reaper Scythe
(Foe) Reaper's Scythe - You know they did on purpose (and it's fitting since a scythe is a farming tool).
The effect is quite strong though, and you can choose when it'll go off. It even has good synergy with the buffs in this set.
New Warlock Spell - Demonic Studies
Remember Dark Possession? The 1 mana Discover a Demon card with a downside?
This just wipes the floor with that card in every single way. Theoretically, it could be really useful with Jaraxxus since it would allow you to get a 6/6 out on the same turn as Jaraxxus himself. Secret Mage [87% WR D5-2]
I've been having loads of fun with this on the ladder at the end of the month. Thanks!
Scholomance Academy
Pushed an update a little earlier to add multiclass cards to each of the class sections. They will still remain in their own sections too.
