So, basically, an 8 mana 3/9 "Destroy a Minion... if no taunt is in the way 🤪"... Reminds me of Natalie Seline in some way. Less of a threath to the opponents face, but more of a threath to the board. Interresting and very flavorful 👍
I felt very similar to OP for a long time once I learned a few decks and started winning. I figured it was just me being salty as many of you were telling OP. Confirmation bias, etc etc. I get it. Of course I'm mad I lost those heart-breaker games, but I brushed it off as you all did OP for those same reasons. I like to consider myself a rational man. Anyhow...
These two decks constitute at least half of my all time games played. I attached some pics below. The 54% winrate is a Tempo DH and the 60% is a Galahrond WL.
If you want conclusive proof with hundreds of thousands of samples USDA certified by several PhD's in meat-statistics just so that you can consider the possibility of what OP was talking about, do not bother reading any further lol.
Notice:
(1) On the Tempo DH the MOST matches have been against the worst class match-up for my specific deck by far (per the HSPREPLAY.NET global stats).
(2) On the Galakrond WL the MOST matches have been against the worst class match-up for my specific deck by far (per the HSPREPLAY.NET global stats).
(3) Look at the proportion of matches I get for the sub 50% winrate match-ups, compared to the higher winrate matchups, on both decks.
Regardless of how they are calculating the MMR or how they are making it so that "most people hover around a 50% winrate", I think its total bull for the simple fact that players assume they are queuing up for a random opponent of similar skill not be penalized with their worst match-ups.
I would love to hear from anyone else who has this data for their most played decks. Post a screenshot of the games played breakdown and the match-up snippet up top. I'm dying to see others' numbers.
Seems bad to me, damn too slow and also competes with Tirion Fordring as a late game minion (which is just better) and single card removal? at 8? seline is already quite mediocre itself dunno at least not all legendaries are good which is.. great since you need to craft less of them.
hoping for good dual class paladin legendaries then..
There are several balance problems: this card is overcosted and understated. The effect would be decent for 5/6 mana, because single target removal for 8 is not worth the turn.
I dont know why they print OP cards and Really Bad cards... The more I see this card, the more I miss Sunkeeper Tarim.
Reminds me me of Natalie Seline. 8 Mana, kill something and leave a big Minion. But, the only Reason she sees Play is because of Zephrys the Great, so I doubt that we'll see much from this Guy. The only Thing going for him is that he could keep going destroying big Minions. But at 8 Mana? He'll be removed like it's no big Deal, no Matter how healthy he is.
So they finally figured out that one of paladin's current weaknesses are opponents playing 1 big minion at a time? Well, this card swiftly deals with any of those shenanigans.
Doesn't help with your priest battles though, since they can just as easily take this card and kill one of your big stuff with it with Shadow Madness, and even worse still just straight up luck out the game with Thoughtsteal. Take this card and anything thats not murloc paladin just crashed head first into the ground from an rng effect.
On its own, this card is amazing, virtually value trades anything the same turn its played. But its 3 attack also means more often than not your opponent will value trade against this card on their turns. Very decent, but I'm still looking forward to more offensive-themed paladin cards.
New Neutral Minion - Cult Neophyte
Effect is nice, but surely not worthy enough. See you in arena..??

New Neutral Weapon - Sphere of Sapience
Nice Kenshin pic
New Neutral Weapon - Sphere of Sapience
Guaranteed pyroblast
New Paladin Minion - Turalyon, the Tenured
If I understand well the effect is BEFORE the attack. So, when played, it kills a minion and leaves a 3/9 body in the field. Not so bad after all ...
Suspicious Matchmaking
Dont put your tinfoil hats down justttt yet. lol.

New Paladin Minion - Turalyon, the Tenured
Ghostly Charger.
That card seems good as a control/duel tool.
With 12 health can trade 4 Minions by itself, and paladin have access to several buffs and heals.
Its a must remove for the enemy, and 12 health is hard to kill.

Me: Oh, wow, this card is cool!
More than half the comments: This card is crap.
Me: o_O
New Paladin Minion - Turalyon, the Tenured
That's the first rush paladin minion, isn't it?

8 mana is a total nosense.
This card should have been a (6) 3/9 or (5) 3/7
New Paladin Minion - Turalyon, the Tenured
Strong card, but paladin needs more offensive cards, and this is one big defensive card that comes a little too late.
Its one of those cards that doesn't win you the game, but when stolen by priest can win the game for them.
Amazing how most paladin cards work like that isn't it.

I'm fairly sure that in most cases this is just a 3/12 with poisonous and rush.
Paying 8 mana to remove a single minion is probably too slow for most paladin decks.

New Paladin Minion - Turalyon, the Tenured
On one hand this is a great lategame bomb that needs to be dealt with or it invalidates all future trades for your opponent.
On the other hand it costs 8-mana.
In either case it's a great drop from Lightforged Crusader (especially on curve)
[Hearthstone Card (
Subdue
) Not Found]
is probably still a better choice in terms of removal
New Neutral Weapon - Sphere of Sapience
Remind me of Brann passive adventure HP, and it is Neutral. Not sure if u want to slot 1 spot for this, but the effect seems strong

It's good, but I'm worried it's just too slow.
Good synergy with Duel though
New Neutral Minion - Transfer Student
Wherever the student goes, they will try to adapt to their surroundings. Flavor 5/5, will fit into my budget deck
New Neutral Minion - Lorekeeper Polkelt
Gotta build around this one to make the best of him, but any slow deck should take benefit from the lorekeeper.
New Neutral Minion - Headmaster Kel'Thuzad
Hello headmaster, good stats, reasonable cost, lovely effect, yup i'm sold
Turalyon, the Tenured is a New Paladin Legendary Card Revealed for Hearthstone's Scholomance Academy Expansion
Decent control card, maybe a bit slow. A cool effect nontheless
New Neutral Minion - Vectus
So much value from an already value deck. And can be played mid game too if there is any good deathrattle die. Will see play in the niche deck.
