Many were probably unsure after the nerfs on DH without enough time to playtest, but Leta bringing Aggro DH and winning proves the class is still VERY solid. It may not be overwhelming anymore, but still good.
I mean, we still have Odd DH carrying surprising results in Wild, despite what seemed to be backbreaking nerfs for the archetype (much more than in Standard).
Afterall, Illidan is a cockroach since WoW TBC (when everyone thought he had been killed in a duel by Arthas)...
What deck are you playing? The way to beat burn is to outlast them and then slowly cut them apart. Works well against elusives as well. Once they run out of cards and you still have 15 health and 4 cards in your hand sometimes they will straight up surrender with a full HP nexus they know I’m going to cut them apart and there isn’t a damn thing they can do about it.
I almost uninstalled last week after losing more than five matches in a row it was a little soul crushing. Today I am 6-0 after not playing for 4 days, maybe take a break do something else for awhile. The game is very generous with its awards I couldn’t play until mobile version dropped and I already have been able to build several constructed decks. You need to find deck you find fun to play with. Since shadow isles keep making me yell the F word nd seemed overpowered as hell I decided to join the madness until they nerf it.
The Witchwood is now complete! That's right, I skipped Kobolds & Catacombs for the time being, because I'm not sure what I want to do with it still. I was halfway done with TWW already anyway, so I figured why not keep the momentum going?

inb4 they mask up elusive burn decks. elusive has been the bane of this game since its inception, add burn to it and u have a recipe for disaster. great game tbh but HS seems to be picking up the slack even after the DH debacle
Well, that is true, you do need to kinda "stay at the screen" since you are alternating action with your opponent. I suppose that is a bit of a downside vs HS in that regard. But at least it kinda sorta prevents ppl from roping, when you are doing something else while playing HS, you tend to generally rope a lot, which is pretty annoying to be on the other side of things.
an oldie. good job. i still remember hittting legend for the first time. i blamed everything, the matchmaking not letting me get the fav matchups, straight up bad draws, i really thought i would never get there. took me some games to get there. i had an oral exam the next day i still remember that.
after that hitting legend becomes easier i dont know why but it just is.
CONGRATS my friend its something that we usually look past it as just normal to reach but we should always remember how hard it was for us back in the day. good luck out there
I've been playing Hearthstone since way back in beta and legend has always been out of my reach but today I finally made it. I couldn't have gotten there without this site, which helped me learn about a lot of different decks that are out there and how to play with/against them. Probably couldn't have gotten there either without the change in the ranked system (or the latest round of nerfs to other decks), but hey, you gotta play the game that's there, right?
A couple of months ago I was one win away on three separate occasions and I fell back and I thought I'd never get back there again. Today I started out a star into Diamond 2, went 5-1, was one star away then lost, took a break and came back and won two in a row and hit legend. Feels pretty good! If you're out there in the "so close, yet so far" category like I have been for a long time, let me just say that I know you can do it.

My latest creation is Anivia / Braum variation centered around... try to guess this one: Absorb Soul!!! I am currenlty having a great deal of sucess with it, excels against aggro/burn decks and Anivia wins by herself if the game goes on for too long. Here is the list:

In my experience, Expedition games can easily take 15 or more minutes - those are like Hearthstone’s Arena, but fun. Apparently the game slows down when both players are using an unfamiliar deck and there are rewards at stake.
But regular Ranked and Casual games are maybe only a minute or two longer than my games with a midrange Hearthstone deck.
Even if the games aren’t significantly longer, they DO require more attention. I can play a game of Hearthstone on my phone while I put away dishes or keep half an eye on my kids. If I try to do that with Runeterra, I’ll lose bad.

Incidentally, the shortest reasonable LoR game is longer than the shortest reasonable HS game, yes.
But the longest possible LoR game is a LOT shorter than control warrior mirror matches.
And LoR is just a better and more fun game than HS.

1. first match: Non champion burn/stun/recall deck.
2. second match: Yasuo/Katarina burn/stun/recall deck.
