Initially, Devouring Baron gained the stats of the units, but then I decided to change it to gain the stats only as health so that it wouldn't get insane amounts of Power when combined with something like The Undying. Also, the Skill would be at Slow Speed, so the opponent could interrupt it by removing Devouring Baron (the effect would not still destroy allies).
Which version of Delicious Meal synergy is better? I think Selfish Devourer would be a very unique effect, but Voracious Eater fits the theme of eating things better. I think Binge Eater would also be a very interesting card because it motivates you to save up your Delicious Meals for a long time and casts them all at once, making the heal likely a lower impact. I think it would be balanced as a 6 cost unit, but I'm not quite sure. It also lets your opponent respond so I think it would be balanced. I also like The Eternal Hungerer, because it requires you to strategically plan out when to use your Delicious Meals, and seems playable without the synergy.

I really like the cards, I think gluttony fits Shadow Isles really well in a kind of disgusting way. I do feel however that a couple of cards simply don't fit the theme. A lot of the Ephemeral cards are cool, but I would put more focus on "eating" stuff. I would replace Haunted Bastion and War Baron with some other cards that care about killing your stuff to restore health/get bigger, or maybe something that generates more tokens for you to eat. You could do something that gets more Health when it kills an enemy unit, or maybe you could have a chef guy who makes a food unit that gives your minion stats when it dies.

Glad to help you find more cards for your deck! It's unfortunate that you cannot have more than 100 cards in commander because Yorion works so perfectly and would be a great companion for Brago. That being said, there are also a ton of other powerful ETB triggers in standard right now, Agent of Treachery is an absurdly good card that would be great with him. I just piloted (pretty successfully) this highlander Shaman list to 500 wins. Unfortunately I can safely say, Swampqueen is the worst card in this deck. You just never have 7 mana to spare for a 5/5. Nevertheless I played her 2-3 times and hit eye of the storm once. This pretty much flips the table.

Why the hell would u play such stupids decks in a game where u are supossed to have fun?? And when you finally seem to break the badluck streak, they topdeck something to win the game. I quit 5v5 games for ppl who doesnt have a clue what they are doing, so in a simple 1v1 card game, where only depends on luck, i get shitted the whole time. I swear to god if i ever have a chance to stab ALL the fucktards in pvp games, i would gladly do it. Jesus i cant be more mad. When did games became so stressful? F
I remember joining this site back when it was still known as HearthStation, and one of the first posts (or perhaps even the first) I made was a suggestion to increase emphasis on the fan community. It was interesting to see how the site would grow, and when the site came back online and it was announced that HearthPwn was closing down, I immediately knew where I was going. Here.
When the site was accepting applications for people to write articles, I knew I had to give it a shot. With what I suggested to give the fan-made card community more exposure was now a mission that I would take on myself. I wanted to make something to give all the expansions and sets people made more exposure, and this evolved into Fan Community Spotlight.
I've loved writing all the content I make for the site, and being part of the team that makes this site what it is. They're all truly wonderful people to work with, and we all create an ensemble team that makes every piece of the site.
Here's to another year of Out of Cards, and many more to come.

My goal for the Shadow Isles cards was to support 3 Main Archetypes:
1. Ephemerals
2. Destroying Allies (for Tahm Kench, Neverglade Collector, The Undying, and They Who Endure)
3. Maokai Toss and Sea Monsters
There are also several other minor archetypes that these cards could support, such as Spell Decks or Twisted Fate draw decks.
