  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (Hearthstone Riddles)

  • Interactions you encounter once in a blue moon yet you want to know about beforehand

It's not a bug. Minions die instead of moving when a zone is full. The minion was never on your side of the board, since it had nowhere to move to.

  • Runeterra Ar Has The Best Tierlist Right Now

    https://runeterra.ar/meta

    1. jayce lux - no surprise here the ability to draw cards and generate a lazer while keeping a 6 mana card active took this deck to the top

    2. Elites - Badger bear countering elusives made it far harder to go under elites for lethal

    3. Evelyn - yes this is accurate she's good I've played against a ton of Evelyn Kaisa lately and it's not an easy deck to counter.

    4. Jax - this one was my call that simple going bigger then elites would make this deck do well also hard for p&z to kill things

    5. Heimer/Jayce - whatever it's the same deck skipppppp

    6. Ryze - still very relavent as a deck to punish players who do nothing it has its place

    7. Lurk - lurk kinda scary right now not gonna lie good Lurk players don't highroll sometimes they are consistent

    8. Ziggs/thaliyah - I like this midrange deck a lot strong on board with a surprising amount of burn potential

    9. Azir/Irelia - kind of the best "rally" deck right now because rallies were nerfed also goes wide with tokens and tempo

    10. elites 2.0 - don't care

    11. Annie burn - insanely good right now just in terms of its winrate

    12. Evelyn 2.0 - still don't care

    13. Angel aggro - man this deck fell off hard after the patch

    14. Nasus - lots of nasus decks floating around you can go turbo or control

    15. Plunder - the midrange deck that never dies and is always good

    16. Pirate aggro - I'm adding this myself just because nobody is playing it doesn't change how strong it is.

So yeah overall this tierlist is better then all the others in my eyes. Very accurate except for number 16 which is my inclusion.

For those struggling with the meta right now there ya go lots of amazing decks to play

  • Interactions you encounter once in a blue moon yet you want to know about beforehand

    As the title says:

What are interactions that are counterintuitive or borderline understandable but you'd be happy to have known beforehand?

I just stole an Undying Disciple with Sylvanas, the Accused while having 6 minions on board, well knowing that the minion would die. Yet I was surprised that it died on the enemies side, hence nuking my board. (Instead of triggering on my side as it should have been "my" minion and the DR only affects enemy minions)

[You could also reframe this as bugs you should know about]

But 3+3+3 for 3 when done with grace?

Holy cow, sign me up for this deal!

Sorry for the radio silence, I have to admit I tend to be quite disappointed when I accidently create cards that already exist, especially when I put a lot of effort into it. Anyway, here's some feedback:

    Demonxz95
First of all, I vote against Strik. Balancing the power level of a new class with old expansions will be a big thing this week and I feel like that one would be very OP in its expansion. While C'Thun cards seem to be generally loved by the community I don't really feel the flavor of your Envoy card. That leaves us with the Snowchugger for Death Knights which looks solid, but not on par with your usual genius. I hope I don't come over rude, please accept my apologies if that should be the case.

    BloodMefist
I like the effect of both cards. The art for the Conjurer seems to be a better fit though, so that's my favorite.

    CursedParrot
I'm pretty confused about the fact that Ahune isn't an Elemental itself - I guess that was an accident? That said  DK hasn't received any Elemental support yet which leaves me skeptical about this one. My favorite of your three is Kel, but I'd advocate to push him a little closer to his original card. Maybe something like repeating all Frost spells you've cast this turn?

    Dolphinslayer
Looks a bit scary at first glance because of the removal that is granted by the Hero Power, but then again toxmonger has never been OP. Very cool card overall!

    Wailor
Accusation is a very very cool card. Well done!

    linkblade91
I like your design quite a lot, very nice work. The one suggestion I'd like to make is to fine-tune the Hero Power. I would prefer it if each use cost a Corpse to stick with the original effect on Boneguard Commander and Battlefield Necromancer. To balance this, I'd consider lowering the cost to 1, but that's a tough call to make for sure.

  • The Only Constructed Deck Worth Playing

I am finally happy enough to publish my favorite deck that I have been playing exclusively for a year now. It is a more effective Thief Rogue that can be pretty difficult to learn but once you do, you will never have more enjoyable games. Happy to hear any suggestions as well!

  • Those Days When You Get Skill Diffed

Sometimes you're just not going to win games.

Card games are R and G based so if an opponent spends 7 mana to generate 3 random spells and find the exact 3 spells they need to win the game it happens. What can you do.

Mogwai used to complain about it, it's in all card games, no point getting worked up about it.

    Staff

Off of feedback, I have given a single Unholy Rune to Deathrider Strik. My other two cards are still perfectly on the table.

    BloodMefist
I agree with pretty much every else that Corpse Conjurer is the superior card and I also think it could be a 1 mana 2/2. It's not that easy to use it with a big spell and get a lot of Corpses and it also makes me think of Plagued Grain which just gives you 4 Corpses instantly (and also the Creates) for 1 mana. Granted that card is Triple-Unholy and this one is Runeless.

  • Second Dinner Changes MARVEL SNAP's Featured Locations, Starting This Week with Nidavellir - Everyone, Get in Here!

In all other card games, the test of your skill is dealing with the variance of your deck, and how it matches up with what your opponent is doing. That's not the case with Snap, since you'll see 75% of your deck in most matches. That's why the random locations are so important in this game: that's where the variance comes into play. It looks like Second Dinner finally realized that removing that variance 3 days out of the week was a bad idea.

  • Second Dinner Changes MARVEL SNAP's Featured Locations, Starting This Week with Nidavellir - Everyone, Get in Here!

I wondered what was going to happen when I noticed this season only had 3 new locations.

  • New Neutral Minion - School Teacher

All Death Knight discovers ignore Rune restrictions unless specified by the card.

  • Death Was Merely A Set Back - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

It seems I'm the only one who prefers Recycling Bin over Defiling Accusation, so I'll go with the later card applying all feedback you guys gave me. Thanks everybody!

Feedback for the two people that didn't receive it:

    CursedParrot
I must agree with everyone else: Glaciate Un'goro is your best card and Ahune needs better art, an Elemental tag and to say "Elemental" capitalized.

Besides this, I'd also change its name to Bring the Ice Age or something like that, as this would reflect the "prehistoric" feel of Journey to Un'goro better.

    BloodMefist
Both are solid, but I like Corpse Conjurer a bit better. I agree with CursedParrot that it'd work better as a 1/2/2.

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (Hearthstone Riddles)

Yes! The armor protection from Emberscale Drake who needs a friend in hand to be anything more than a 5/5.

  • I Am Ryse I Am The Rune Mage

    You guys are so mad.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again if you have to counter brew me it's a good deck.

Remember it's just a game I'm not trying to style on you or make you look bad

I'm just playing the way I play you play the way you play it's as simple as that.

Like I can switch to ziggs or insta level Asol or a million of my other turbo decks that look cool and do cool things.

I know it's not the way most people play preffering to just hand vomit garbage non commital plays but I like to see the level up and have the dude who do things do their thing.

Like you guys remember the joy of watching the flip and then you get to like do your game plan? That's why I'm still having fun and you're all madder then a box of hammers.

Yuuuup hand vomit bad plays get burried in ice someone should have told you. Play decks that do things plz.

I also should have mentioned that do nothing decks get ryzed. Do you guys brew anything other than hand vomit and do nothings? Come on challenge me here a little.

You guys are literally starting to depress me now, build for your ******* champions your decks are instantly losing due to your fear.

Youre still not building for your Champs you're building for kegs. Tf sat there for like 30 turns same with serphin. Champs aren't just bricks that sit there they win games.

That last game was actually pretty decent kudos to whoever that was 1 Evelyn 2 Kaysas and 2 denys. That was not a winning game for me.

Build more like that guy ^

  • I Am Ryse I Am The Rune Mage

So everyone told me this is a bad deck for this meta. So you know nifty always one to ryse to the challenge.

Let's take the worst meta deck and make it the best meta deck.

Because I can't stop winning at 20 life.

How do you beat tripple stacked stuns and bounces.

It's like spellshield or bust basically, or rite of negation.

Here is the list, again I'm not a genius because I remembered palm existed.

But I will say sometimes the simplest answer is often the right one and the foolish never find them.

  • Stop conceding!!!!

    Quote From Thonson

Sorry that this is happening to you, but the fact of the matter is that your opponent is not required to sit there until you pull off this or any combo.  Same applies to if they know they are dead and can't win.  That is why there is a Concede button.  Stuff like this happens, like when I drop a charging 10/10 Death Beetle about to destroy my opponent with it for the achievement and then they leave before it connects.  So what do I do when that stuff happens?  I go to the next game.

Take this for next time you get frustrated by opponents.

You're completely correct, of course. I made this thread partly to vent my frustration, and partly as a PSA: sometimes, if you're willing to spend an extra few seconds in a game you're about to lose, you could be helping someone out.

There's something else worth noting, too, though. I've been in plenty of games where I was sure to lose and was about to concede and move on to the next one, then suddenly my opponent disconnects. Not a very satisfying win, but I'll take it.

Hmmm that would lead me to offensive protection via Crazed Netherwing or defensive protection in the form of Emberscale Drake

  • Second Dinner Changes MARVEL SNAP's Featured Locations, Starting This Week with Nidavellir - Everyone, Get in Here!

I'm glad they finally realized this location stuff is too much. Even if it's because of a "creativity" issue, i.e. not being able to bring new ones every week because there isn't a lot of new stuff to design regarding those, in the long run (without new mechanics developed into the cards).

Still, 50% still seems like too much.

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (Hearthstone Riddles)

Right mechanic (dragon in hand), but this minion is newer than Twilight Guardian. I did love Dragon Priest, back when Twilight Guardian saw more play.

There is a hint to the stats in the size of the lines of the riddle.

If your opponent is about to pull off the Rivendare, Warrider combo, let them do it! I mean, sure, if they were a bad sport, spamming emotes or unnecessarily delaying the kill, then feel free to concede. But I'm trying to get the achievement, and people keep conceding literally seconds before I can do it. Just let me have this!

  • Your Guys Brewing Skills Are Weak

None of us are playing against you, Nifty. It's not "our" brewing skills that are weak. And as I mentioned in one of your other threads, I severely doubt that anyone else is specifically trying to counter you either.

  • Your Guys Brewing Skills Are Weak

Rule of thumb number 1 if your opponent can press the pass button 10 times into your deck and you can't do anything then your deck does nothing...kinda thought that would be obvious?

There are these really cool things in decks called champions...they help you win games of you build around them.

You guys should try it, got me to mastered pretty easily.
