Take the win, report as appropriate, and get a few achievements done.
I killed plenty of minions with the DK colossal against suspected bot opponents. I only report the ones I'm sure about, which is still at least one per day.
Now that does beg the question what is a more reliable metric of lower tier deck sucess if not statistics?
Some people look to individual player sucess for example James Ruban piloted a Shivana deck to the coveted 70/30 or whatever.
70% winrate over 30 games, but most people myself included would subjectively say Shivana is not an "amazing" champion right now and that Ruban could pilot 40 scraps of virtual cardboard to sucess.
So instead I might recommend time trials. How quickly can players climb with a list on average instead of hitting arbitrary metrics that don't really impact the average player experience.
Did you hit diamond in a couple hours without breaking a sweat? How long to diamond to masters? Are you playing 24/7 7 days a week or 1 day a week for a couple hours.
That more then anything reflects relative deck strength in modern LOR, how long, vs how sweaty. That's objective sucess.
For those that don't know last year mobalytics made the call that it could no longer responsible support statistics tracking for legends of runeterra.
It's all in the dev blog here but basically - the spread is too large to cover and the sample sizes are too small.
So deck diversity, plus unstable metas, plus games being played in the thousands vs the tens of thousands.
Why does this matter?
Well the statistical spread on decks actually massively shifts based on the smaller hosting websites we have available today.
Example go to mastering runeterra and you look at 3000 games of Jax played and it will be sub 50% so okay terrible deck.
But I go to runeterra ar and it says 2,000 Jax games played at 57% winrate basically saying it's an amazing deck this patch maybe because it outscales elites?
The truth is nobody knows the spreads are too wide, the sample sizes too small, and there are too many variables to know for sure.
Anyone saying otherwise is kind of stuck up their own butt.
So that brings us to this patch, we know that jayce is good, we know that elites are good.
Beyond that we have no idea, nobody is willing to play the lower tier lists enough to get reliable data, or brew counters for a concrete two deck meta that will last a month.
So maybe Mobalytics was right, stats for LOR are kinda garbage in 2023 and knowing that empowers you to play your own lists and search for your own solutions.
I am back to this now. And thanks for the explanantions mate. I do NOT know the Marvel universe except Superman, Spiderman, etc, you know the basic heroes. :) The video I shared earlier is from their latest album, which is called "Senjutsu". Well makes sense if one is a fan, but that album is not a concept album.
Until now I didn't knew there is a "Future Past" theme in Marvel universe. What I wanted to say about the joint merch betweeb MAIDEN/MARVEL is something like ... this: https://666.ironmaiden.com/browse/iron-maiden-global-merchandise-uk/products/iron-maiden-x-marvel-somewhere-in-time-guardians-of-the-galaxy-tee
I do not like the combination of artwork actually. but that depends on the tastes of everyone. Thanks again for the explanation!
ps just to be clear: I do not advertise. And I don't have to do anything with MAIDEN or Marvel management. I am just a fan!
I can't reproduce it in Standard on EU ladder. I lost several games in a row trying to play Questline Mage (it's too slow), but no suspicious play patterns from my opponents and all of them were visible in the "recent opponents" list.
But at higher MMR its nearly impossible to see a blizz bot. Even at bronze wild I've never encountered them much, or at least Ive never noticed it. Most of the time I'd get player bots, but not an outright blizz bot.
There's likely a trigger for it, like you'd have to have low MMR, at a losing streak, or after a certain queue time. There's also a likelihood its a playerbot masquerading as blizz bots to avoid being reported.
All I say is that if you get a freebie, just enjoy it. Wish I get some of these too, particularly after going 4 losses in a row.
Not showing up in the "recent opponents" list is interesting; I don't think player bots would be able to do that unless the name would be hidden during the match as well.
Dane had some videos recently of playing versus bots in Wild. Those bots would hang if they got an unexpected discover effect; he used Suspicious Alchemist, but the Peddler is similar. Of course there could be multiple bot implementations with different bugs.
Are you sure it's Blizzard's bots and not bots farming XP? The most likely theory I've heard is that with the shutdown of Hearthstone in China, a lot of players moved to other servers and either took their bots with them or maybe even started botting to build a new collection.
check also their brave new song from Senjustsu!(link below) And their tour "Future Past". is for sure related also to their amazing album ... from the past called "Somewhere in TIME" ! what an album! So I am not sure who is reverecing who :)
I just remembered but: MAIDEN and Marvel. released common merch recently. That might be a connection. Even if I don't like that kind of t-shirts.
I believe Iron Maiden is referencing two things with the title of this tour:
1) "Days of Future Passed" is an influential album by the Moody Blues that came out in the late '60s. It was one of the first concept album ever, and is often cited as marking the beginning of progressive rock.
2) "Days of Future Past" is an iconic arc in X-Men comics that came out in the early '80s (that explains the old TV, public warning approach and general vibe in the Snap video). It tells the story of an alternate future ruled by Sentinels where Kitty Pryde travels back in time to the "present" to try to prevent the events that will stoke antimutant hysteria.
Now this is quite crazy for me as a MAIDEN FANatic! |(and Marvel Snap meanwhile, even I am not a "huge" fan of Marvel movies and stories)
I wonder if there is a connection, it just seems a bit too much to be just a coincidence. :) Even if "deja vu" coincidences happens quite often. I write this as a metalhead my self, and I know Blizz had a lot of metalheads in their team during the amazing initial days. Was that shifted to a 2nd Dinner ? :)
I like your card, but I don't really understand why you used "they" instead of "it" (…may attack again). 4 stars for now, might go to 5 after I've seen the rest of the field. I also do hope things are looking a little brighter on your side and wish you all the best.
I used 'they' instead of 'it' because I'm a dumb-dumb who wasn't paying attention.
On a more personal note, I want to apologize for being a whiny bitch a lot of the time :/ A. It's just a creative exercise, I shouldn't get mad for losing, and B. I shouldn't take my personal pain out on the group. I've been dealing with a lot, but that's a lame excuse - we all have stuff to deal with.

Hopefully we'll find out what's wrong with my liver soon, and I can go back to being more upbeat!
I am highly surprised no one mentioned this but with Death Knights it ignores rune restrictions on spells and draws from the entire Death Knight spell pool. You can be using a 3x Blood rune deck and use School teachers to search for Frost spells for example.
It's all random; but it is worth noting. It adds some spicy splash to an otherwise known equation.
No, I don't think you should change the class. I'm still sceptical about the stat decrease though, maybe cut that and make it cheaper? The effect is still pretty strong in itself since you not only lock a minion out, but also a board space.
Control warrior's biggest problem right now is not win cons, its speed. Its dreadfully slow, much more so than every other class at the moment. Even pally and priest draw faster than warrior and are better at dealing with boards. I have a feeling that part of the reason for that is that the cards are designed with pre-nerfed From the Depths in mind and they didn't want to revert it back.
Either they slow every class down (which can be possible given that rotation is next) or they give warrior better card draw and cheaper sustain cards.
From the notes, it might be that they're looking at bringing Battle Rage back to standard, and some of the cards that made that card great. Whatever it is, just hope they dont bring back bomb warrior.
Hmmm... my first thought is: Can a minion that is dormant lose stats? Maybe I'm missing something but I'm a little confused. I do like the versatility though, as ayou can also target your own stuff to set up a combo turn. Last but not least, for us non-WoW-players a little explanation about the connection between the violet hold and this being a Priest card would be cool, because from a HS point of view I see purple / violet, I think "Arcane" = "Mage".
There actually isn't a lore connection. I don't know any WoW lore myself past what I learn from Hearthstone. I just remembered it from the RoS cinematic/solo adventure and thought it'd be really cool to use it for this prompt. Being a control card with a stat-reducing effect, it made sense to put it in Priest. My excuse here is that the watermark depicts the symbol of the Kirin Tor (also appeared in RoS), which would likely be an expansion centered around the Kirin Tor/Dalaran. These are very magical and mage-like, kind of creating a MotLK situation where every class gets Death Knight-themed cards. I could still change it to Mage. Should I?
Also, yes, affecting a Dormant minion is questionable. Although I don't think it's too unrealistic in this effect, so I figured I'd just wait and see what people thought about that.
Feedback: I like the effect and would like to see it stay Neutral, but it currently has the value of a class-card. It's a strong card that could see use in a variety of classes, even bypassing weaknesses (Druid, when will you stop being problematic?), so I think it should be a 4- or even 5-Cost to balance that out. Otherwise it works just fine as a 3-Cost if you put it in something like Hunter.
Warrior? Dont bother, still dead. Far as Im aware there's some concerted effort to make quest warrior good again, but at some point we'll probably just come right back to enrage all over again. Ironically, warrior's best matchup is into frost DK but that's taken down a peg now so Garrosh can go right back into warming benches for another month, when the new expansion comes in. Fingers crossed warrior wont be screwed for the third time in a row.
It is somewhere around tier 2, yeah. The issue isn't really that much in its power rating but more its popularity and its play pattern. Play pattern in particular is something they've nerfed even average decks for and Res Priest is just absolutely toxic in that regard, has been for quite a while now and yet hasn't been touched at all. It is also EVERYWHERE. I'm not at the tippity top of MMR but I get legend every month and usually I hit legend at around the 300-600 range (and then plummet as I play fun decks after the climb). So the meta I see isn't the most cutthroat and optimised to perfection, but still extremely competitive. In my laddering last month, I've met exactly 2 Quest Mages in all, and that deck got nerfed. Meanwhile, 25 % of my matchups were Res Priests. They camp at Diamond 5-3, they camp at mid-legend. If you're climbing you have to accept the fact 25 % of your games will be decided entirely by how hard the Priest will highroll you, cause there's nothing you can do to stop that. They either just fold cause they drew bad or you explode by turn 5. And the latter happens a lot more often due to their tutoring consistency.
Take the win, report as appropriate, and get a few achievements done.

Yes! I just played 4 games in standard, 2 were against bots. How do I know?
-REALLY bad plays
-NO think time (including snap pick off Suspicious Peddler twice in one game)
-names were DireRaven and SilentStorm
-neither showed up in my "recent opponents" list

Glass Houses & The Problem With Ego
Brewing is a lot like sales or marketing.
It's learning about the power of losing.
Through loss you get better.
You brew better, your decks perform better.
You might even start ruffling a few feathers.
Not because they are good players but because they haven't embraced the power of losing.
Good brewers, people like Mogwai they wouldn't just upload a list after it popped into their head.
They would pressure cook that **** till they had something that was actually good.
So I guess my message to the LOR community right now is do better...not by playing the strongest hand but learning how to lose.
Don't Brew To Meme - Brew To Win
I've mentioned this before but there's a big difference between meming and being off meta.
Mogwai, Swim these guys understood that it's okay to play unique lists but only if they can beat what's popular.
So right now that's two things, one is jayce, and one is elites.
Pick one if you can't beat either your deck essentially shouldn't exist in its current form.
So how do you build good off meta brews?
Well two things play the matchup and see if you can climb, two if you find that intimidating then play the matchup with a friend.
As soon as you can start winning with your trash vs their treasure you have an off meta brew.
If you can't its a meme...sorry.
