Really, that user is the troll? I either forgot what kind of answers he used to give or I just had a better opinion of him.
I just remember he once made a thread about how Temporus could possibly be used to counter Ice Block and then got extremely aggressive when pretty much everyone told him that the idea was completely ridiculous because giving Mage two free turns is basically suicide in 9/10 cases (which it is, obviously).
It got so bad that he basically discredited anyone who didn't agree with his very ill conceived points a troll...despite being pretty much objectively wrong.
I had the same experience as you, Lyra, though that occurred one or two weeks ago.
When I reached Legend and wanted to update the decklist in OoC, I clicked on my deck (Quest N'zoth Priest) and tabbed out. When I returned to my client, the list was empty for some reason. But then i just copy/pasted the deck code and so far I didn't encounter any problems. I also had the same message which you mentioned in the OP, but, oddly enough, it disappeared after reselecting my deck.
Many people also encountered the same issue, but in standard. I guess the new patch brought some bugs with it:
I think it's just a weird game glitch? I've has that message pop up once or twice when I start queueing a match, and I just dismiss it and hit Play again, and it works fine. Just random game weirdness.
If nothing else, this will be an amazing addition to my recently crafted The Undying deck. As other people have pointed out, the biggest drawback is that your opponent can cancel the spell by removing your unit in response. Overall, it looks like a balanced alternative to Black Spear.
I'm definitely interested in trying to fit this in a stun-themed deck with Yasuo. Although I guess the leveled-up Nexus Strike effect makes Yasuo's kind of redundant, plus Swain wants you to play direct-damage spells.
This card is obviously intended for Maokai mill decks, but I don't see it being played a lot; having several damaged units who can make use of the healing seems very situational (although the Burst speed is nice). Perhaps there's a gimmicky deck idea out there somewhere, combining this with self-damage units from Freljord or Noxus.
Now, if "allies" included your Nexus, it might be worth considering for some midrange decks, but I remember reading that a dev already confirmed it only affects units.
Not true. The RNG of the spells influences games but there's plenty of scope for good deck construction. Rogue in particular has loads of synergy with it, including easy combo activation, constant stream of cards from other classes and a whole ton of minions generating minions, all giving you an advantage.
I built a deck around Spectral Cutlass and consistently beat anyone who didn't highroll Sanctuary on turn 2. I also saw a druid exploit it using the base mana cost of minions so he used Imprisoned Satyr to play a 10 drop on turn 5 then Mind Control my 7/10 Greenskin.
I instead went with Spectral Cutlass, drawn with Cavern Shinyfinder and buffed by pirates mostly. You never run out of durability so it probably ends up more efficient than the quest, plus the healing is super useful when against aggro decks.
One thing Hearthstone gets right code-wise is that the server doesn't trust the client. Therefore, the server will validate the deck when a game is started, so even if the client is buggy or hacked, games with invalid decks will be prevented from being started.
There are many possible reasons for a deck to be invalid in Wild: it may contain the wrong number of cards, more than the allowed number of copies of a single card, class cards of the wrong class, non-collectible cards etc.
Copy-pasting the deck code as a new deck, like Thonson suggested, might fix the issue. If it doesn't, then please post the deck code; it would be interesting to see what is going on.
I think this card is completely ridiculous. Granted, it gets destroyed by a chump blocker, so its high attack isn't that big of a deal as long as your opponent is playing small units. But getting a free 4/4 out of the deal is just bonkers, not to mention that since he's a scout, you can have him attack, die, and then attack with the Badger Bear. Like, a 4/4 for 4 mana is mediocre, but not that bad - and you're getting a free 4-damage attack on top of that.
If anything, the Badger Bear should be added to your hand, not summoned to the field.
Overall, the tournament was pretty sad, a problem was the incentive money to the player with the highest winrate. At least this made clear that there is a problem with DH. Before this event I wasn't sure, but the amount of matches that were just the same or not fun at all were a lot.
I hope they take this event and the perception of DH matches as feedback for future changes.
The money incentive is only there to add to the stakes. Obviously the players are expected to bring along the best decks, or otherwise this entire innvitation would have been nothing more than memes.
I do agree in part with you, especially the part where both teams are forced into X vs Dhunters, since nearly everyone brought more or less the same tempo dhunter list. At least there wasn't a massacre, though dhunters still won 6 out of 10 at the last round, though all the opposing classes obviously knew and brought anti-dhunter lists.
It's not different there. Go to your collection -> select a deck -> click on the picture of your hero above the decklist -> copy -> tavern brawl -> create a new deck
OK so I finished the first wing of Frozen Throne and unlocked the Dead Knight. It's written on the card that I must be at bronze 10 to play it. So I guess the new way to get to wild is completing the rookie's ladder. TNX
So Done With Hearthpwn.. Think I'm going here now.
Technically, Scorpions are a German rock band, and they WILL rock you like a hurricane.
This Week's Tavern Brawl is "Battle of Tol Barad" - Play Minions and Get Free Spells of the Same Cost
I had a cutlass and shiny in as well, just figured the quest would be useful until I drew them. All in all a pretty fun brawl.
Never ending beats
I actually tried to build a deck entirely aorund Altruis....but I never drew him so I just beat my opponent to death anyways.
Demon Hunter is a silly class

New Noxus Spell - Noxian Fervor
But at the same time, you can cancel an effect by killing your own stuff, like vile feast or grasp or an enemy fervor.
It's really flexible as much as it looks like it's not.. It's mostly a reactive card to use when an ally is about to die or the enemy is tapped out.

So, yeah, try building that deck from scratch or paste the deck code if you have it.

Unfortunately, I do not own a copy of the mighty Millhouse. However, Lorewalker Cho is included.

Turn 6 OTK!
Cool deck but confused why it says turn 6 but the video shows everything contrary to that...?
