As dour as I usually am about Hearthstone design and Mercenaries in particular, those new Mercenaries look fun. In fact, they are the most thematically-linked, mechanically-interwoven, and synergetic suite of cards they've ever produced and look exciting to play.
Which is why it's a tragedy that most people shouldn't even try.
All the same old problems still exist. You're not getting these consistently from packs and farming them into existence and then farming them into playability is such a pain in the ass as to render the upshot moot.
They might as well have thrown in a shortcut to allow players -- at least experienced ones -- to fast-track acquisitions and buildup. As it is, even if you haven't done a good chunk of the single-player content, it's all too boring and onerous to contemplate.
Changing gears, in Battleground news, Teron looks stronk af and looks to be a better Tamsin with a more fun ability.
I just passed level 300 and the end of the rewards track is looming ahead.
I also became legend in Classic for the very first and last time, because I just wanted to complete the Back In My Day achievement. This mode is infested with dumb bots and my Control Warrior farmed them all easily to legend.
My Death Knight wins progress is at 440 wins, inching slowly but steadily towards the golden hero portrait and beyond.
Today is Valentine's Day, but even more importantly also the launch day of the Return To Naxxramas mini-set. Hopefully, the new cards will be able to improve the current stale meta.
[Hearthstone] Several minions have had their minion Types adjusted to better match what they are.
I wonder if this'll include a stealth-nerf to The Curator (because it is not technically a Mech). The Purator reflects the truth, so maybe they'll bring its past incarnation in line?
I made a few ideas, but threw them out. Trying to do something more simple this week:
Combines Dredge and Locations, of course. Like Holy Wrath you must choose your target before you Dredge, so you won't be able to guarantee it's the best choice (unless you go face, because that is the place).
I have a bunch of ideas this time. Let me know which one you prefer andhow would you improve them.
Suspicious "San'layn" makes fun of the fact there are several types of vampires in the Warcraft lore. In particular, this guy is supposed to be a venthyr disguised as a vampyr, hence why it has synergy with Infuse and why it lacks the Undead tag. Not sure if this flavor is too obscure, but I think it's the main selling point of the card.
The other two cards are pretty straight forward, although I'm not sure if Master of Searemonies should work the other way around (if Dredge a spell, draw a Naga)

When You're Forced To Play A Dumb Deck
I dont like aggro, I don't.
I play next to zero aggro generally speaking.
But Ionia otk is such a polarizing archetype that it only has one weakness.
It has a 30% matchup table into every single aggro list.
Pirates yep, bandle yep, fearsome yep, hallowed yep.
But there is one list that trumps them all.
Pink region otk (rhyze) has a 20% winrate into lurk.
So I don't care if I have to play lurk into all the smooth brains running otk by running an even smoother brain deck I will do it.
You'll lose roughly 80% of the time.
Sorry you're playing something degenerate you don't get to complain.

I hope the last part is a hyperbole...
In any case, your health takes precedence over anything else, so don't feel obligated to keep running these comps.

In a word, no. Not to be mysterious or dramatic but I don't want to get into it right now :/ The important thing is that I'm not dead yet lol
