I can't really think of any Card that I'll miss in Standard, except [Hearthstone Card (Mass Histeria) Not Found]. If you think Priest sucks rn, oooh boy, just wait till they lose their only viable Mid-Game AoE. Without that and [Hearthstone Card (Ziliax) Not Found] t5 will be Priest's official „Hero Power and Pass" Turn (Sandhoof Waterbearer would be practically the only real play they'll have, and that's not even that good).
So glad I didn't preorder this expansion. Worst xpac since TGT, barely changed the meta at all. Honestly, this is probably more due to the Even/Odd decks that existed when it came out.
This is one of my all time favorite 1-drops. Versatile and simple. I will miss getting to throw this guy into my Hunter decks
For whatever reason, I was having a pretty hard time beating Heroic Togwaggle, so I thought it might be fun to mess with him using Grizzled Wizard and Sir Finley Mrrgglton. Turns out that Grizzled Wizard is even worse than a meme, because it didn't work. I sat there thinking the game was delayed, but alas, the functionality was broken.
I ended up beating him anyway (thank you Kobold Stickyfinger) but it still made me sad.
Pyke + Ashe on the field would be pretty nasty, I imagine. Or Pyke + Shen.
Yeah, if you could get both up and running you'd easily win the game, but I really do think he'd be fairly balanced despite those wacky offensive combos. He has to stick to the board for two attacks in order to upgrade, and he's consistently vulnerable to mid-tier removal tools (especially prior to leveling up, when he hasn't gained regen yet).
You could grant him elusive on a defensive round with some Piltover & Zaun stuff, but then you're not pairing him the best champion partners.
Kripp seems to be impressed, and that's usually a good enough reason for some amount of optimism.
Yeah, but Kripp could also get extremely excited about something that most players would consider niche (e.g., improvements to Arena, tie-ins to Diablo, etc).
How you play around a 7/6 elusive on turn 3? Or a 6/6 fiora? Landing stand alone on a key unit on turn 3 is normally game over. Unless you specifically have purify or will of Ionia.
No, that was my point: if I had a Stand Alone in my opening hand, its easy for me to only play 1 minion which I want to buff and near impossible for you to play around. Whereas for Take Heart: I need my target to take nonlethal damage which can be tricky. I've lost a lot of Braum because my opponent was smart enough to wait until mid-combat before adding a Mystic Shot or Get Excited! to the stack.
I imagine you intended this to be just about the current meta, but for my money there was nothing worse than pre-Dr. Boom nerf Control Warrior. If you want to make your deck be 20+ reactive cards: OK, that's your decision. But when those remaining slots can generate enough value to compete against aggro, midrange, AND other control decks, then something has gone horribly, horribly wrong.
Oh, and pre-nerf Galakrond Shaman. That archetype alone ruined this expansion for me to the point where I don't even care that Shaman is unplayable right now. Whoever let that slip through play testing should seriously reconsider their career choices.
yes mainly intented for current meta but it could be generalized as worst archetype you faced this year in general

Sorry to let you down, but I think we're getting news very soon (20 minutes) EDIT: Okay not true, someone was saying "today maybe news" but wasn't a real thing
I'll preface this by saying 1) I've never won a card design, and 2) I'm thinking about cards *I* would choose if they were offered to me, so I recognize my particular play style is not the same as everyone else's, so take everything with a chunk of salt. But:
KANSAS - I can't imagine a situation in which I would take that sorry - maybe remove the "can't attack heroes" and you get some play since it would (ideally) be 25 face dmg, but there's no way you wouldn't be dead really quickly with that. Great art though. 1 star
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't want the sword to just be "deal 50 damage to your opponents face" but you are right that as it is now you would be taking too much damage for it to be worth it. I ended up ditching the double damage, but it was hard to find a good design for the "cursed" theme that both had an upside and a downside that wasn't too overpowered, too underpowered, or too complicated. So I came up with this, what do you think?
this is a great re-ivention of the card it allows you to clear alot without taking alot of damage
for me its quest priest becasue of everyone's favorite divine sprirt inner fire combo ! because your opponent could just make a 14/14 Injured Tol'vir that obliterates you ,and the hero power is just plain stupid restore 3 health and give a minion +3/+3 who balanced this .
it also suck because preist is a healing class and just spamming hero power is all you need to complete it
its all just a stupid archetype for a stupid class

I loved how well this WCDC system works. Congrats to all the Fan Creation team members and superb work.
Silent shadowseer
It definitely does not keep buffs.
It also regains Ephemeral if you removed that keyword.
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Nope. But good guess.

When you generate a card, you have an option to create a permanent link. You can use the temporary link, but the card will disappear in like 3 days.

You can't Purify a Champion. That's another reason this deck is so broken.
I'm not saying we should be able to Purify Champions, but maybe Stand Alone should work on followers only.

Nevertheless, it must be addressed. You should not be punished for leveling up a Champion.
Favorite champions not yet in the game?

Year of Phoenix announcement - finally today?
:( but it was worth a try. I also don't think that we're getting the information today for 2 reasons:
1) Overwatch is getting a new event today and a big announcement would distract both playerbases from eachother.
2) The year of the Dragon announcement was on a Thursday.
Worst deck archetype you've faced (mini rant thread)
year of the dragon meta i would say pre nerf galakrond warrior. was so broken it had to be nerfed twice in a row.
all time any sort of secret aggro mage and big priest

If by "worst" you mean "most hateful to play against", then i can't really decide.
I stick with Wild Secret Mage and Wild Mechadin.
Sniplock would be there as well, but it's been nerfed.
Just too much pressure, from too early, and with too much resilience too.
Other decks may be equally or more powerful, but at least they let you play normally for the first turns.
