Hi) Sorry for the late reply. I was caught up in a looot of paperwork and I wasnt able to check out comments under my decks so frequently. Sadly I dont have any replays and unless the missing cards that ou dont have are Nzoth or Brann then dont craft them. It sounds like you have more limited Wild collection so definitely dont focus on other legendaries outside of Brann or Nzoth. Benedictus might as well be replaced by Elysianna and Murozond by Shadowreaper Anduin
Although I'd personally like to wait and see how things turn out over multiple competitions before anything changes, we maybe could have done a better job at getting people to go and vote in the finals, even those that don't take part in the competitions themselves.
Anything that can improve the voting experience is A+.
As far as increasing outreach, the fan portal page is great, but I'd put card voting directly on that page, perhaps a sidebar widget of some sort. If someone makes it to that page, they'd immediately be enticed to vote on the card. You could put such a widget on the front page, or the hearthstone portal front page, but I understand if space on those pages is better dedicated to other content (decks, articles, other card games etc).
Interesting to see how this turned out. All 8 finalists were very close in their final score. Only 0.3 separate 1st from 8th place! This does kinda make me wonder if this is the right scoring system to be using? I wasn't sure how scoring was being done, I voted for my own card and didn't vote for the other finalists in the final round. I guess it incentivizes me to give them all 1 star? That feels lame and I didn't want to do that. Might be a good call to not let finalists vote in the final round?
It is nice that later entries (like mine) were still able to compete and still received a good number of views and votes, which was a problem back on hearthpwn.
I don't know if any changes need to be made just yet. But I will say that I already like this better than the old system on Hearthpwn.
Hm, you know, that never actually came up as a problem "finalists voting on themselves". Since it isn't possible to vote on yourself in the submission phase of the competition, it only makes sense we wouldn't allow it in the finalists.
Though, it would be funny if someone forgot to give their own card 5 stars in the finals :D
We'll have to leave that open for now and continue to collect feedback and hold an internal discussion. I think we have a lot of really great people in the community though that legitimately vote so it may not be an issue right now.
The close scores are also an interesting point to bring up. Although I'd personally like to wait and see how things turn out over multiple competitions before anything changes, we maybe could have done a better job at getting people to go and vote in the finals, even those that don't take part in the competitions themselves.
I love the feedback we've gotten on the system so far though and I agree, things are MUCH better here! The best part about it though is that they're only going to improve because we actually have the ability to make changes without needing to go through processes on top of processes. I'm super stoked we have the competitions back and I can't wait for us to extend them to other titles we cover, breaking some ground there.
Anyway, I'll be leaving much of the decision making up to the Fan Creations team to see how we're going to proceed with any changes since they are much better than I at figuring it out - I'll just be the code monkey getting any potential changes out to everyone :D
One thing to throw out there, I would love to implement a progress bar showing how many cards you've voted on and how many you have to go. I can't say for certain it'll appear during competition 2 but maybe by 3 I'll be able to get that out there. Anything that can improve the voting experience is A+.
This a better Pit Snake without the Lackey stuff. I'd make it cost 2.
Choose One is exclusive to Druids, so you can't use it on a neutral card. I'd just give it a Battlecry: All Lackeys cost (1) more.
Yeah I should have picked Siamat's wording, which wouldn't offend those who like Druid's exclusive Choose One mechanic. While increasing the mana cost for Lackeys does hurt, Discover makes the dragon and spell lackeys still powerful even at 2 or 3 mana. Turning Lackeys into say a 2 1/1 that may randomly award Fireball or Myra's Unstable Element makes the things weaker. Too late for this contest, but new wording would be thus:
Battlecry: Lackeys cost 1 mana more or lose Discover ability this game (your choice).

For this competition, we'd like you to create a treasure card for any of the rogue-like single-player modes (Dungeon Run, Monster Hunt, Rumble Run, Dalaran Heist or Tombs of Terror).
Your treasure can be a playable card or a Passive upgrade
You may make a Shrine for Rumble Run
Most treasures are completely neutral and can be obtained by any class, however:
You may make a class-specific treasure for Rumble Run
You may make a class-specific treasure for Tombs of Terror
You may make a character-specific treasure for Monster Hunt
You must use an appropriate watermark for your card
Kobolds and Catacombs, Witchwood, Rastakhan's Rumble, Rise of Shadows and Saviours of Uldum are allowed, to make that more explicit
Welcome, welcome everyone to another WCDC. This one directly follows on from our last one - we celebrated the cards we got, and now we're celebrating the single-player content.
As before, let us know if you experience any issues via Discord or PMing me here on the site.

Veranus is a very solid card. Better than Equality because it only hits your enemy minions. I will admit, I was disappointed when Veranus was announced, but now I'm very happy that he exists in the Hunter tool-kit.
I have a very complicated relationship with this xpac. Honestly, we barely felt this xpac's effects until RoS, when year of the mammoth rotated, and everyone realized just how power magnetic is.
I will leave my opinions about magnetic out of this. It's almost easier to pick cards that I am happy to see leave standard vs. what I'm sad to see leave.
This guy made Secret Hunter viable again. I was so excited when he was revealed, as I knew I would be using him constantly in Secret Hunter. And boy did he not disappoint. You will be missed greatly buddy!
I came to the comments looking for some Zilliax hate, but this surpasses my hopes. I’m so glad I’m not the only one.
Zilliax is “flexible” in the same way Superman is flexible. He has different powers to call on at different times... but the main reason he wins so much is that he’s more powerful than everyone else.
I started playing this game in March of last year, and I’m very proud to have climbed to rank 1 without ever crafting Zilliax.
(I’ll add that Zilliax isn’t horrible at the higher ranks. Everyone has solid decks, and people are prepared to respond to this card. Ranks 15 and up really suffer from this card’s existence. When everyone has holes in their collection, being able to throw Zilliax into your deck is devastating. It came close to driving me from the game in my newbie days.)
Or they can treat this last adventure like they treated icecrown, dungeon run, etc. If they see it in that way, probably they'll announce the year tomorrow or Thursday.
If you look at Fiora's L2 full artwork, you see an awards ceremony. I get that the 2nd place guy is the Laurent Chevalier punk, comically sulking because he lost to Fiora--but who is that 3rd place guy? I would have expected it to be Laurent Protege or Laurent Duelist, but they're both blondes and this guy is distinctly brunette hair. Is he unique to this artwork?
I am going to force myself to only choose one card that I will miss the most, and then put some "honorable mentions":
I'm honestly surprised to find myself choosing this one because of all the frustration this card has caused me during it's time in standard. But that just goes to show how versatile this card is, and how many decks it showed up in. As a Hunter main, losing Lifedrinker is going to hurt. Beast synergy, face damage and healing in a class with so little. Any Hunter deck I've built for the past 2 years that needed something in the 4 slot, had this put in.

I was gonna ask ''But how can we know how our creation fared at the voting booth?'' but then noticed the transparency report.
That's a great touch !

(I'm actually using 250 instead of 200, which is kinda weird)
It took me about 2 hours to get this idea, but in the end, it actually kinda works.

Fiora and Zed Continue to Smash Face in Swimstrim's Latest Update to His Popular Elusive Burn Deck
Yeah; its a bit like Take Heart--insanely powerful tempo if you can land it right, but with a huge caveat.
Of course, Stand Alone is a LOT easier to anticipate / play for. :-P

Happy to see leaving:
Zilliax (like I said, it's a complicated relationship), Eternium Rover, Myra's Unstable Element, Prismatic Lens, Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Crystology (buff needs to be reverted for the health of wild), the entire Magnetic mechanic!
