Zilliax to me is very much in-between. There were a lot of fun moments with him which made it a great card and one that will certainly be missed for that reason, but looking at it overall from a game health perspective, Zilliax had some very evil moments.
do i just craft the mushroom cloud deck? that seems to always win. is that any good? i dont think it's my play style but i am running out of patience. I will play anything that can actually win and not require lucky topdecks.

Did you not have luck with Noxus / P&Z burn? That should DESTROY both the aforementioned--for Teemo, you snipe him with Mystic Shot while applying your own pressure, for Ezrael, you just apply too much damage before he can even level up. I am usually 50:50 with this deck at Gold using an unrefined list, so you should have no trouble at bronze.
Here's a more refined list from Swim than the one I listed earlier, but honestly you don't even need to craft this. I'd say the Boomcrew Rookie, Legion Rearguard, and Precious Pet are all critical; everything else is "what's cheap and deals fast damage?" If you're still having trouble after that, try watching a few streamers on Youtube.
I suppose what is most tricky for me is the mulligan - for instance, I'm unsure when to keep/mull Mystic Shot.
Funnily enough, most of these cards I'm actually happy to see leave. The only actually interesting card among them is Flobbidinous Floop, which leads to interesting deckbuilding and gameplay decisions. Most of the other ones are just overpowered bullcrap, mostly because of the extremely annoying magnetic mechanic. The big exception of course being the genius Whizbang the Wonderful, which is once of the best cards blizzard has ever made.

Another day, another cardgame in which Kaladin plays absolutely perfectly yet is hardstuck at low ranks because his opponents always have the perfect answers and topdecks.

For some reason I'd forgotten Necromechanic in my Albatross deck and have swapped it in for Revenge of the Wild which was underperforming; good call!
And I like how you included an Arcane Fletcher + Halazzi, the Lynx combo in your Mecha'thun deck! Subject 9 is a workhorse, but I always want more draw and have tried including Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Jepetto Joybuzz in previous seasons. I've been focusing on Chef Nomi lately, but I think I'll give Mecha'thun another try starting with something like this.
And no worries at all about the Standard vs. Wild distinction. If you have any crazy combos you've been working on I'd be happy to give them a whirl! For some reason, since Highlander builds returned to Standard I've played a lot less Wild (just for the Yogg, Reno, and The Marsh Queen nostalgia). But I really should return now that I'm getting a little burnt out from Standard, and having a fun deck to test makes that even more likely!

A second Big Ol' Whelp would also be nice, since you need card draw to get to your embiggened cards. Even though it is a battlecry minion, it has decent enough stats that you shouldn't be too disappointed if it gets pulled by Strength in Numbers. Maybe replace Dragon Breeder with this: both give you one more card in hand and one more dragon, but the Whelp doesn't rely on having a dragon in play and is better when pulled by the sidequest.
To get through the early turns, Swipe is pretty good. There are a lot of one-health minions at the moment. And if you're up against a slower deck, you can use it for extra face damage. You could replace Innervate or Wild Growth with Swipe: instead of speeding up your game plan, you slow down your opponent.
Rat Trap: I hit legend for the first time with secret highlander Hunter shortly after the release of Uldum. Rat Trap is such an excellent secret to have in the mix since its mechanics are so different from the other traps. It won several games for me, either through its triggering or my opponents being forced to play around it.
Spectral Cutlass: I detested infinite lifesteal Kingsbane rogue, and was happy when that got nerfed. This was a fun alternative that felt fair. The burgle cards weren't always that strong, and sometimes you got weird or expensive cards that you'd have to make a decision on to keep your durability up.
Mossy Horror: This card isn't seeing as much play, but it was a fun control card to throw in a deck. It also shined in Arena more than one would expect. Again, just a very fair card, but oh so satisfying when played against the right board.
Aye, I managed it once, but it just seems whenever Mage does well, people rally the Troops, grab their pitchforks and torches, and cry for nerfs until Blizzard does it. As if Mage isn't supposed to be viable ever. Not saying it hasn't been, but when it does well for more than a month just seem to go down hill from there.
I'm going to miss Emeriss the most. I hit legend with Dragon Hunter during the first season of the Witchwood with Emeriss at my top end, it was one of my favorite moments in all my years playing Hearthstone.
I feel like "Invoke Galakrond and then hit the opponent to kill them. Might write more here later." is the perfect bio for Galakrond Warrior lmao. Could I ask why there's no Leeroy though? The list seems pretty aggressive, wouldn't Leeroy fit in nice?

Injured Tol'vir, Bone Wraith, Evasive Drakonid to name a few - I guess the reason why you play 1x Embiggen is because of Ysera, Unleashed. Not only does it not synergies with Strength in Numbers, its also a 9 mana do nothing on board. Most decks will kill you for making plays like this past turn 6. Ysera's not good in decks that can't heal for tons or clear boards. - No Zilliax, the one card that you help you get back against face hunter/dragon hunter. Why? If you don't have it, you can still opt for a replacement in Vicious Scalehide and pray hard. - Acornbearers but no Faceless Corruptor. Nope.
If youre opting for budget, you can try ditching the Strength in Numbers for [Hearthstone Card (double savage roar) Not Found], include 2x vicious scalehide, and 2x vanilla 3 mana 3/4 minion, 2x Faceless Corruptor. Lose the Ysera, wild growth, and cobalt spellkin. Maybe include a silence, like Spellbreaker. That way, you will still have a chance against aggro decks
A friend of mine and me are trying to defeat Galakrond Heroic with only standard cards - we usualy only play standard and therefor we want to defeat Galakrond without any Wild cards - or at least without Wild Legendarys or Epics!
Any suggestions - so far we've tried different builds of Rezz Priest, Highlander Mage, Control Mage, Control Priest, Highlander Paladin, Highlander Rogue. Also tested some Zoolocks and aggro Decks but Control seems to be the best shot.
Freeze Mage was the best so far, but without some wild cards like Ice Block it is realy hard :)
Well, take out Ysera for another Embiggen. This deck makes or breaks with drawing that card so you want to maximize it. If you're missing a lot of key cards, just add some budget Dragon-synergy cards like Firetree Witchdoctor.

Zilliax will be missed by the most. It's a really well designed Legendary.

- burglar rogue and the spectral cutlass
- amani bear
- oondasta and the undertaker
- darius and the rush warrior

- dr. Boom and Hagatha, dem heroes - so fun to play with, so annoying to play against

To increase the chance that Strength in Numbers pulls something good, consider replacing Acornbearer with a spell, for example Treenforcements, Rising Winds, BEEEES!!!, Dreamway Guardians or even good old Wrath.
If you want to keep Acornbearer, then include Faceless Corruptor, like dapperdog said. A possible alternative deathrattle token generator is Infested Goblin.
