  • Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!

I ran away from standard to wild to get rid of the shamans, but there are there also! Screw you, galakrond shaman, and screw you too, quest shaman! And also fuck even shamans! What a fucking start of the expansion.

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

No. corrupt the waters is OP and it will get nerfed. Maybe not in this next patch, but sooner or later yes, it will get nerfed.

  • The ultimate Thief Priest=The Togwaggle Priest

What about the version using Hemet to get to the combo earlier? Looks very legit. What does it lose to this one?

  • Standard Meta Report #15 - Fixing (Yet Another) Shaman Meta

Kind of funny that i wasn't really sure what to play but i had most od the cards for Quest Galakrond Shaman so i made up a list and turns out it's OP so i haven't really played anything else aside from pirate warrior. It's kinda disgusting. I also got a golden Nithogg and decides to play that despite many thinking its bad. Works pretty well if you can double the battlecry, and otherwise just baits removal so i kinda like it so far. Curious what exactly they plan to change to balance this.

  • Legendary Reno DK Mage

First off, great deck. I have played a couple of games and the deck looks super strong.

Do you think the deck could use Duplicate? There are only about five minions that you really wouldn't want to copy, and getting two extra minions without having to use Brann Bronzebeard seems like a pretty good deal. or do you think the deck already has enough ways to get extra copies and it would just be irrelevant?

I hope shaman doesn't overshadow Necrium Apothecary

  • Mythgard - More Puzzles!

Team Rankstar just released a new article by Bearsman6 that includes four new puzzles. In case you didn't realize, Mythgard has an amazing feature that allows users to import their OWN puzzles they created! It's pretty cool and will allow you to share challenging scenarios with other players.

Some personal background here: “Find Lethal” puzzles have always been one of my favorite aspects of card games, and it was initially one of the things I missed most when I pivoted away from Magic: the Gathering. There are already a few cool ones in Mythgard – with the most recent addition from Navy Seagull being particularly devilish!

Be sure and check out the entire article and his Mythgard puzzles HERE.

This doesn't really solve the problem of getting bad minions like Lightwell or Test Subject (or, to a lesser extent, Spirit of the Dead), which mostly act as a dead card and add no real tempo value even if you cheat them out of your hand.

There are also a lot of conditionally useful minions that you'll be annoyed to get even if they are tempo-positive. Examples include Dead Ringer and Sand Drudge and Zerek, Master Cloner. These are all worse than vanilla if your deck isn't built to leverage their effects, and you can't possibly build around all such effects in a Galakrond deck. (Special callout to Quartz Elemental, which is better than vanilla but has anti-synergy with losing the Lesser Heal hero power when you become Galakrond.)

  • [Legend] Leprosy SMOrc Hunter

It's not actually named on HSReplay yet. Here's the most played one: https://hsreplay.net/decks/Be9cCJM1nIwSMxlaCb9nEg/#gameType=RANKED_STANDARD

Like I said tho, they don't run as much face damage minions or a mech package. It runs more spell damage and secrets, but I think these ideas are bad. I looked up damage cards only and think it kills opponents faster and more effectively.

  • Iksar's Legend Galakrond Rogue (Hearthstone Dev)

Sap, walk the plank or assassinate probably would work.  Another decent option to consider might be Evasive Wyrm as a midrange removal tool that leaves a body on the board.

I have tried. Oh, have I tried.

  • MTG Arena - Theros Mechanics Explained

Here's a new video from MTG that explains the Escape mechanic appearing in Theros: Beyond Death.

They also had one a few days ago for a returning mechanic, Devotion.

And last week they had one explaining Enchantments, in case you missed it.

  • Galakrond, the Wretched

hey will the invoke effects still summon imps if this card isn't in your deck

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

But the Old gods was one of the best (balanced) expansions

  • [Legend] Leprosy SMOrc Hunter

I haven't even found it on HSreplay? What name do they run it under? Mech Hunter?

Either way, you could try plaaying around with Necromechanic since you're already running a number of deathrattles that your opponent probably doesn't even want to kill.

  • [Legend] Leprosy SMOrc Hunter

This version is actually faster and does more damage at the expense of a worse board than the one on HSReplay. I focused more on Mechs and using Magnetic or 1/1 tokens to deal damage early and finish them off through Taunts with Lepers and direct damage.

  • Suspicious Matchmaking

That's not true, until now I played 13 games with it and won 9 of them, without facing any shamans.

  • Should the pity timer be lower?

It Won't happen as long as people keep spending money on this game.

  • Dragonqueen Alexstrasza

Not always that good... but definitely perfect card and so nice looking as well. Using currently in my all reno decks in wild either standard.

  • [Legend] Leprosy SMOrc Hunter

so that's the one I keep running into.

It's the perfect definition of a rock, paper, scissors deck. It can beat down almost any deck that doesn't have heals and relies on later spike turns (as well as absolutely ruining Zoolock because of Explosive Trap on demand)

It seems to really benefit the lack of a true control deck in the meta. Guess we'll see how strong it is if Warrior returns after the Shaman nerfs.

  • Standard Meta Report #15 - Fixing (Yet Another) Shaman Meta

You know it's bad when Blizzard releases an announcement 2 DAYS after the launch saying "upcoming balance patch coming next week"

LOL I'm holding off on playing Galakrond until that happens, I'll stay happy with my mid range overload shaman

  • Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!

This happened to me at 0-0 in arena. Fuck you too Hearthstone.

  • Standard Meta Report #15 - Fixing (Yet Another) Shaman Meta

This may be a bit off topic, but a meta like this makes Legends of Runeterra look better and better. I can't wait for the beta in a few weeks hopefully. I'm sure Blizzard will deal some hefty nerfs to Galakrond Shaman, but that would still leave Quest Shaman to deal with. LoR will certainly have it's own balance issues, but at least they will be new. HS expansions lately have felt like slightly new twists on mechanics they've had for years. Is anyone else ready to move on?

  • Standard Meta Report #15 - Fixing (Yet Another) Shaman Meta

Instead of Buffing Priest Galakrond, try running Princess Talanji. She makes some amazing tempo swing turns summoning all those minions you've been collecting.

  • Standard Meta Report #15 - Fixing (Yet Another) Shaman Meta

if something like your bonus happens, i would be glad if they buff the mage quest, by far the worst quest
