I'm going to wait and see what they have come up with. The question remains whether they can deliver and compensate properly to wash away all those bad feelings. But the lingering disappointment over ongoing issues is more than understandable.
The initial tone deaf reaction to the Rattlegore fiasco last week ("Oh, you didn't finish the event in time because we put out incorrect information? Let me change the announcement and not offer any solution to your issue. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!") has killed any remaining interest I had in this game mode.
I know they eventually walked back and said they would implement a solution, it's still another example in a long string of issues that have plagued Mercenaries since before it even launched (anyone remember the confusing and unhelpful "First Look" video they put out?) To me, it's become clear that Mercenaries will always be an afterthought for Team 5, and I don't intend to waste any more time on it.
I was really expecting another undead merc to come with the track, Patchwerk, or any undead from Naxx if the selection from the next expansion wasn't good enough...but not this.
I was actually worried that Arcane Hunter wouldn't work simply because of the class inability to draw and cycle through their deck, but this might change the initial assessment (!) but it is alot of pressure to put on one card's back ..!
Snap is just very unrewarding f2p you'll get credit screwed at collection level 100 and be hard forced to run the same Odin deck while grinding for minimal rewards not sure how people do it.
This is similar to Daredevil, but in any turn. You can watch what your opponent was going to play, but in return, you can replay your turn. I'm confused how is this going to work if you had drawn Kang the same turn you played it. Are you going to draw a new card?
I think this one seems memeish, why just not play Daredevil for getting the insight on Turn 5? Is it going to be worth to run it on Turn 6?
As per Celestalon's comment, the diamond versions are decided by artwork, not by playability. We don't know what goes into designing these diamond cards aside from that. Artwork and the card's viability have nothing to do with each other either so expect many more diamond cards to be unplayable.
That's a good thing to keep in mind - that Team 5 are aware of the DK HP and charge being so game winning. It's good to know we won't be seeing that many buff spells or cards that could be abused with the HP.
