The only thing that really makes me hesitant about giving this card 5 stars is the Blood Death Knight archetype itself: lots of sustain but no "I win" button, which like Control Warrior is vulnerable to decks that do have the button or can out greed them.
You know what? Without the leaks, warlocks would've had a rough time on the reveals man. Not only they're the last ones to be fully revealed, but both of the legendaries are also supposed to be revealed at the very last second.
Then there's some weird undead ressurection stuff that probably won't go anywhere.
I disagree!
The rez stuff is just interesting enough to get people to explore Owllock-type shennigans for about five minutes, find them less effective than meta decks, and retreat back to implock and imp/curse.
keep in mind past expansions have a bunch of good Deathrattles, especially in Wild. i can see these working very well with mine/owl warlock and stuff but they probably are going to be mostly good for wild. or at least i will be using them
Yea... we know from experience that Big Demon DH never works out so not holding any hope out now. Blizzard would need to release better cards than this but I'm sure this big guy will pop up now and then from random generation.
This spell is really good in egglock, I wouldn't be surprised if the archetype makes a comeback with this spell. 2 mana is decent for this effect and I'm sure we'll find a nice combo where you want to kill a certain minion and trigger it's deathrattle.
Its so baffling that the cost is 6, for an effect that's given to priest at half the cost.
So we're left to assume that playtesting reveals this card to be a hit, somewhere. Closest thing I can think of would be Infectious Ghoul or Plaguespreader, both of which aren't exactly premier targets, more like annoying shit.
Not to mention that it only works with undead, so whatever you're playing must have very specific undead in it. Convolution on convolution, and this being a 6 mana card, Im not liking its chances. Im tentatively giving it a mid score simply because its so suspiciously intentional shit, giving hope that there's a good reason for it.
Its honestly a shit card that's so dependent on the meta it might as well be a tech card.
Because in what way will warlock ever play this card unless we're seeing 8/8 giants on turn 4 again? Even then, it needs an undead target and as yet there isn't really one that benefits from an awful lot of stats. Dont think this will see any play, unless as mentioned, the meta turns hard on for cheated out giants.
Its a deathrattle trigger for a near non existent deathrattle target
Closest thing I can think of would be Naval Mine, which might help soften up all those decks with renathals but otherwise doesn't really do much. You can crack eggs and make a good deal of stats, but if that was the play being expected then surely everyone would just crack your egg for you and brick this card in your hand.
Outside of that, there is plenty of undead deathrattles introduced in this expansion like Plaguespreader, Infectious Ghoul, Invincible, but Im not exactly convinced warlock would even play those cards.
Wow, now this is quite the removal spell. For 1 mana more you get to destroy the minion when comparing to Righteous Defense. You can also selectively target the undead in hand as well.
New Hunter Spell - Conjured Arrow
I might as well replace the Furious Howl with this for Even Hunter. Howl was mostly useless and this gives belated control and card draw.
New Hunter Spell - Eversong Portal
So is it the amount of Lynxes or stats of Lynx?
Special Bonus Rogue Card Reveal for Hearthstone's March of the Lich King Expansion From Mams
This in Wild Miracle Rogue… Scary
New Druid Spell - Beetlemancy
Man, both of these options are terrible. Branching Paths is a better card
New Death Knight Minion - Alexandros Mograine
Mmm yes, I could try to bore and out last my opponent between this and fatigue... OR I can play a deck that goes Skibidi bop mm dada
New Druid Minion - Anub'Rekhan
Brann, Innervate, Anub'Rekhan, 5 mana Astalor, 8 mana Astalor x2, maybe also a Zola or Sire D...
Yeah, Armored Ramp Druid is going to be good.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Fierce Outsider
Might actually be alright for Aggressive DH decks, potentially putting out a 2/1 or two and an Crimson Sigil Runner
New Demon Hunter Minion - Brutal Annihilan
Ah yes, the meta tyrant that is Big DH
New Death Knight Spell - Vampiric Blood
I'm not totally sold on this. Most of the time, the extra health may as well be Armor, though 10 Armor + a Draw is pretty good.

It's you again. Why do you always have to be such a bummer? Either you're just trolling or you really make too big of a deal over this.

As is, this is a fantastic card.

Yes, actually, looking into it a bit more. From the person who compiled the reveal article and apparently as confirmed by HS dev:

There is always a new account with a profile picture of a character and a username to match. I genuinely think they are a ban evader.

Right, not the best shorthand. With Forge of Souls and the adjacent places also belonging to the larger Icecrown Citadel, it all often felt like one.

It is really mediocre. If it did something to put you ahead, I would agree. Extra stats are too slow.

Five whole minutes of novelty, friend.
Seriously, though, Undead Warlock's pickings are grim.

Hey, that's pretty good going for deathrattle packages these days. *Shudders at memories of deathrattle rogue during the Year of the Gryphon*
