and this is why I gave up on maintaining a stable Wild collection long ago.
As much as Standard is a dumpsterfire, at least it keeps changing while Wild is just a Nightmare Amalgam of powercreep.
The thing I hate most about Wild is the fact that despite a huge cardpool only a fraction (and probably less than in Standard) is ever going to be useful.
The only Wild decks I still kept around are Discardlock and Jade Rogue (for Nostalgia reasons)
Also, fuck the wording. This doesn't state whether the target is random or not.
Probably gonna see this in every midrange deck (and some Aggro) from now on.
Also completely busted in Arena.
Gonna keep my extra copies, this one's gonna get nerfed.
They need to fire whomever is in charge of wording in this expansion'cards a lot of effects are worded very poorly and in an ambiguous way, with some pointless words or unclear effect, like the paladin side quest is VERY unclear in it' s wording.. Nozdurmu as well..
Very poor job for the card wording and probably also balancing a lot of cards in this expansion are a serious power creep rather than new strategies..
Im pretty sure were gonna see 1 more legendary in this stream for all non evil classes because it wont be fair for a class like mage to have 2 legendaries while roge has 3
Dont know probably just my ocd
in TGT just Hunter got a Legendary more. :)
-> and they got Alexstraza, the explorers are the Highlander classes.
But i am not moving to Standard. And Wild is bound to stay abysmal, (until they accept we need hard nerfs on all curve-cheating mechanics, but that will never happen).
I play the game because of my collection.
Having it cyclically crippled for Standard is not an option for me.
My problem ofc. But i was wondering and hoping that at least i'm not the only one...
PS: i am partly Spike, and that's why content myself with r5, sometimes reaching r3 by chance. I guess being just partly, not fully Spike is exactly my problem...
PPS: i don't mind powercreep, as long as it distributed AND it doesn't become brokencreep...
Fantastic card - every deck will run at least 1 for the next 4 months. Nice to see some more "real-time" tech cards rather than letting an archetype run wild for 4 months before "solving" them.
Really strong minion. You can value trade with a minion and than trasform with Faceless Corruptor. Other that in shaman you can use Evolve to abuse this mechanics. In Arena is broken too
With the dragon synergy for divine shield, this card could be relevant for board control at any point in the game. Pretty solid, but Buff Paladin isn't as well supported as it used to be. Could make for some fun Galvadon Paladin in wild.
I can't actually see a druid archetype wich would benefit from this card. On it's own, it's good. Too good. But in which deck? Token druid is usually pretty tight with all the board buffs it needs to run and also how to repopulate the board after a wipe when everything cost one more. In some kind of ramp/big druid? But then what's the point? Your minions are big already... I'm scratching my head on this one...
Anti-quest tech I guess? But since Warlock & Druid have passive powers, only useful against 7 classes? I think they designed this card before they rotated Genn and Baku and have just decided to throw it out there as a "Epic you hate to open" (which naturally means I'll open 5 of them...)
Mindflayer Kaahrj
Delayed faceless but as a 3 drop with good deathrattle it is pretty nice.
Wild players: how do you still enjoy it?

New Shaman Minion - Nithogg
I would like to see those eggs as dormant when you play Nithogg to be hatch on next turn.
It might be too op tho but would be a nice idea.
New Neutral Minion - Wyrmrest Purifier
Poorer renounce darkness. I need this for the sole purpose of defeating opponents T1 decks with an arena one. Bad and memey, I roll need.
New Neutral Minion - Faceless Corruptor

Descent of Dragons
in TGT just Hunter got a Legendary more. :)

New Shaman Minion - Bandersmosh
So after Rogue and Warlock and Priest and Mage and Paladin, Shaman can play other classes' cards. (I'm not counting MSotG cards)
I like this kind of effects being random. If you can control them, you can abuse them. Better in this way.
Will go in my Archologist Shaman deck if I drop it from a pack. Not in my craft range.
New Priest Minion - Murozond the Infinite
perfect play after your opponent plays galakrond. question is, will the hero card battlecry replay?
New Paladin Minion - Nozdormu the Timeless
Who knows if this is going to backfire more often than not, but getting an 8/8 for 4 is too good to pass up.
Murozond the Infinite
I like your Galagrond.., I think I will *become it!
Wild players: how do you still enjoy it?
I also thought the new expansion could help.

New Warrior Spell - Molten Breath
Holy Fire but better - seems pretty solid.
New Neutral Minion - Faceless Corruptor
does shudderwock transform another into a shudderwock?
New Warlock Spell - Dark Skies
this isn't that bad if you don't play any cards. could stabilize before you start doing handlock things
New Rogue Spell - Dragon's Hoard
Really strong addition to Tess Rogue, where you want to be getting good minions into play.
New Rogue Spell - Candle Breath
3 mana draw 3 is amazing, so this card will see play.
New Neutral Minion - Dragonmaw Poacher
Fantastic card - every deck will run at least 1 for the next 4 months. Nice to see some more "real-time" tech cards rather than letting an archetype run wild for 4 months before "solving" them.
New Neutral Minion - Faceless Corruptor
Really strong minion. You can value trade with a minion and than trasform with Faceless Corruptor. Other that in shaman you can use Evolve to abuse this mechanics. In Arena is broken too
New Paladin Spell - Sand Breath
With the dragon synergy for divine shield, this card could be relevant for board control at any point in the game. Pretty solid, but Buff Paladin isn't as well supported as it used to be. Could make for some fun Galvadon Paladin in wild.
New Druid Spell - Embiggen
I can't actually see a druid archetype wich would benefit from this card. On it's own, it's good. Too good. But in which deck? Token druid is usually pretty tight with all the board buffs it needs to run and also how to repopulate the board after a wipe when everything cost one more. In some kind of ramp/big druid? Sand Breath
For given cost good value, but for standard its too balanced. I don't believe this will make it to the meta.
New Neutral Minion - Dragonmaw Poacher
man, this is even better than dragonslayer. most big dragons have 8 health so you can almost guarantee a kill.
New Neutral Minion - Blowtorch Saboteur
Anti-quest tech I guess? But since Warlock & Druid have passive powers, only useful against 7 classes? I think they designed this card before they rotated Genn and Baku and have just decided to throw it out there as a "Epic you hate to open" (which naturally means I'll open 5 of them...)
New Hunter Spell - Corrosive Breath
Playable Cobra Shot seems good.
New Rogue Minion - Waxadred
5 mana for slightly above vanilla stats and a card that keeps coming back. Seems very good.
