are you delusional? this is a 5-drop with no synergy that does nothing (or barely anything) against 6 out of 9 classes. Even Skulking Geist wasn't run that often despite JAde Druid being a relevant force in the meta.
Do you still run Harrison Jones in every deck despite there being barely any relevant weapons in the meta?
Also stop trying to pretend to have the moral high ground when you're bitching and moaning that big meanie Blizzard is introducing a necessary tech card that just so happens to also hit your homebrew rank 5 meme build.
This card can be easily played around and you can even bait it out if you think your opponents carying it so don't think its a problem, just a handy tool
Struggling to place this right now. It's looking like a fit for two draconic variants - a 'typical' control late-game Paladin as a value card and early game drop, but also as a midrange dragon paladin enabler. Bronze Herald was (in theory) midrange dragon support as well as handbuff support, though that never materialised.
On the fence over here. The Talitha synergy might be enough to push it over the edge, but in either case realistically this is only seeing play if draconic decks become a thing.
I think everything will revolve around dragons, at least until next April. Before that, it will be hard for this card to find a place in warrior. After that - dunno.
what are you on about? That's like saying printing Skulking Geist killed Jade Druid forever.
You can still play Thekal because not everyone will run this.
The only situation in which Platebreaker will be a common tech card is if there is an armor focussed deck that completely dominates the meta and in that case you just don't play Thekal in whatever deck you're thinking of.
It's not even like Thekal is the cornerstone of some Paladin archetype. It's just a neat little tool in paladin decks with lots of heal. If Platebreaker is too common then you just take him out.
He's gonna rotate next expansion anyways, so it's not like you didn't have ample time to use him.
Chronobreaker: Ugh. I'll be the first to admit that I've disagreed with the majority view on most of the reveals so far - in part because of my reactionary nature, and in part because in my opinion people don't seem to understand how to properly analyse cards. This one, though, I am 100% confident on, and the majority view seems wholly incorrect as far as I can see it.
This card is not Duskbreaker. It's not trying to be Duskbreaker, and it doesn't need to be Duskbreaker. It's not a reactionary anti-aggro tool, and obviously if you look at the card with that blinkered view it's going to look weaker. What it is, however, is the midrange statline that a dragon-centric Priest build is going to need. The deathrattle is a board complication, asking a question of your opponent before they can go on to answer the rest of the boardstate. It doesn't need to be a reactionary board clear because Priest already has enough of those - what Priest needs right now is midgame staying power to get it to late game (and the tools and value to win in the late game, obviously).
It's not the strongest card in the expansion, but this is a good card and it will see play if draconic Control Priest builds make any headway in the meta.
Kaahrj: Honestly not really sure what to make of this one, I'll admit, but my guess is it's going to be decent. To be clear, it's not anything incredible - it's just a value card, a bag of stats in most cases. However, it's sticky, has the potential for a lot of value, and most importantly, it's correctly priced to potentially see play. I think people are underrating it slightly in some cases because of its 3-cost status, and in a few cases overrating it because of its highroll potential. Looking past both of these, though, the central function of the card so far as I can see is to be a multiplier onto removal - develop something with a lot of stats in the same turn as removing something dangerous. Being cheap means you can slot it in alongside most removal tools, and it being a deathrattle means it slots in alongside AoE.
If any card kills this game for me and makes me never want to play again it's this one. I lived through patches I lived through tunnel trog I lived through keleseth and spreading plague and ultimate infestation and quest rogue and here it is the straw slowly falling onto my back. And it's only a common.
I like the Enforcer nerf, though I thought it could have been even harder - make it +1/+1 but then make him bigger (for example 8/8) to compensate it a little bit, but I don't know, maybe changing it to +2/+1 will be good enough.
But mostly it will be very interesting to see how those 2 new minions will change the current archetypes. My prediction is, that the new Murloc king will still not be enough to make Murlocs as good as the other tribes (or managerie), because if he's going to be in tier 5, it's too late to start with buffing and also he will be quite rare, so it won't have so big impact.
However the new demon - I think demons are already very good (maybe even best) tribe, and this can make them even better.
I hope they will make more changes soon, mainly those regarding performance and faster animations, change to amalgam would be also welcome, although I would rather see them create something new instead of Amalgam - for exmaple some dual type minions (something that is Demon and Beast at the same time, then another which is Beast and Mech and so on) ...and obviously I hope they add Dragons to BG soon :)
An honest question for debate, wouldn't it be better if they added some kind of "Piercing" keyword? I'd love to see a Legendary that says "Battlecry: Your damage is Piercing for the rest of the game"

didn't follow that hong kong thing and didn't know that.
at least he was like an employee since last i saw them in a tournement as a commentator.
That hong kong thing is complete bullshit for me tbh, not worth to follow.
New Card Reveal - Platebreaker (ARMOR DESTRUCTION)
Let's not forget that Thekal has only 3 months left on standard... It's not gonna be such a big loss

Kripp is doing a reveal stream?
Damn, now I'm more excited for twitch-chats reactions than the new Cards!
Rogue Legendary Reveal - Flik Skyshiv
Think that, you are playing Pogo Rogue against a Pogo Rogue.
Your opponent plays this on your Pogo-Hopper to hope it only destroys your pogos and his pogos also disappear.
What a lovely moment.
New Card Reveal - Platebreaker (ARMOR DESTRUCTION)
I mean, that's great
New Neutral Minion - Platebreaker (Armor Destruction)
Omg, at last. A tech card against armor. I almost feel bad for the armor decks. And high priest Thekal.
But nevertheless I am impressed they grew the balls to print this one. Mad props.
You should experiment even more. And I don't mean with even more rng cards, but with different ideas and tech cards.
New Neutral Minion - Platebreaker (Armor Destruction)
This is an extremely powerful card going forward, regardless of how relevant armor is to the meta.
this has immediate use in wild. Goodbye infinite armor drui

I mean... Kibler, like most casters, is a free agent. He's also probably in Blizzard's bad books right now due to the whole Hong Kong thing

Lmao "an even statted common cost card wont be run in every deck". How about you build a bridge and GET OVER YOURSELF.
New Neutral Minion - Cobalt Spellkin
Interesting. Usefull - In some classes more than the others.

Love how this is common, like Blizz saying "Yeah, that's not a very big deal"
Platebreaker
they really are making alot of custom cards this expansion
New Priest Minion - Chronobreaker
Not sure about this one. The AOE is pretty good but the fact that it is a deathrattle makes it not much viable imho.
Platebreaker
