I think Thekal is going to see a little more play and against non-agro warrior, this is almost always good. But, I think some people in the Wild scene might rejoice after seeing this card. I dont Wild much so not sure how much armor a Warrior packs these days but taking armor away keeps Shield Slam out of the picture.

In all seriousness this has been a card that's been needed for a LONG time now.

it's a fair cost card with decent stats, it probably won't be in anyone's main deck list but can be a tech choice if Warrior gets too powerful.

Oh and Druid, too. Because armor druid was a thing

This has been arguably one of the most requested tech options in HS.  Honestly never thought it'd get printed, but glad to see an anti-armor tech card.

agreed. their game plan now and the foreseeable future are lackey-less IMO. Even if this were a discover lackey, it probably wouldnt see much play.

That's the definition of meta defining. Warriors and druids will fear this like hell.

Are you playing a dragon deck? Scion of Ruin and Smolderthorn Lancer might be a better choice.

Rush synergy? Scion of Ruin and Rabid Worgen want in.

More of the aggressive type? Frothing Berserker and Bloodsworn Mercenary are stronger.

Bombing some fools? Clockwork Goblin and Augmented Elekk are the ones for the job.

Drawing cards? Acolyte of Pains body is ready!

Galakrond deck? Scion of Ruin is a must.

So again, it's a nice card, but Warrior has a lot of strong 3 mana minions that can fit in lots of different decks. Also Warrior doesn't seem to use lackeys all that much unlike Rogue and Warlock. I'm not saying that it won't be able to find a deck, it's just gonna be a little harder than just auto including this in any Warrior deck you make.

FINALLY.  Why couldn't we have had this card in the days of odd warrior?

That is insane, they really printed that kind of Card!

And it's common, what? 

Paladin explorer was revealed and confirms that mage got the short end of the stick with explorer dragons. Why couldn’t this be 3 mana? Could reduce spell damage to +1 if that is the issue, but at least it would make this playable.

Am I dreaming ??  Finally, a counter to druid and warrior in wild.

I never thought they would print such a card...

I feel like they went too far with this one. It would of been fine if it was like destroying 10 armor, but all of it? High Priest Thekal finally had hope to be in a deck but now people won't want to risk getting destroyed by this thing. I'm not saying that this will ruin the meta, it's just kinda intense having a tech card that can completely destroy a class on it's own.

I am not a fan of this card at all (and I am bias since I do love playing some control Warrior).

Love this! Need neutral ways to deal with possible problems. Secrets and weapons and now armour
