Not that good but I love the theme; overloaded mana crystals as electrical potential.

  • New Shaman Minion - Nithogg

The idea of HS is to rotate the top tier classes, so yeah, give a shaman a break and let it sink in tier 3 or 4 for a while.

They'll still have murloc shaman if you're not tired yet of playing with or against them.

  • New Hunter Minion - Phase Stalker

I like this card a lot.

You can play it on turn 2 and if opponent plays a removal it's ok. If it survives can be disgusting putting secrets out of your deck is very strong, it synergies with all the other hunter cards that are revealed so far; if you have this and the 1/3 your hero power becomes one of the strongest thing you can do for 2 mana.

If you play this on turn 4 you can already have some value out of it.

In wild will be fun to play with this card with Genn ( i'm starting to wonder if those cards where created with the idea of still having Genn/Baku in standard)

  • Bad Luck Albatross

I just love everything about this card! Especially the name.

  • New Warrior Minion - Deathwing, Mad Aspect

I think this is really good. Crazy stats in a empty board. A bit expensive for control but it's a dragon. The problem is that in some cases you will not want to play this. But I think it's a solid 4 stars

  • New Neutral Minion - Bad Luck Albatross

Gives your opponent two bad draws, it stops highlander cards from triggering, it is not bad stats for its cost, it is a beast so it can get tribal synergy. It looks pretty powerful. But we have never really seen an effect like this before, we have bombs, but that isn't really the same. Bombs don't mess up your decks consistency, they just deal damage to you.

This is a very interesting card, and it will probably see play, but we will have to test it out before we know how good it really is. I am just very glad that we have this as a card.

  • New Neutral Minion - Bad Luck Albatross

going to put it in my deck just for the rare moment were my OP play X and nothing happens, nice tech card

  • New Warlock Spell - Fiendish Rites

Good, but without a way to boost minions health like druid does, token warlock will never be a thing

  • New Warlock Minion - Abyssal Summoner

It has potential, but currently shown cards it's just OK. In any way a bit too slow. Taunt could save you, though

  • New Mage Minion - Dragoncaster

    Quote From Narfi

Smaller Inkmaster Solia. She wasn’t good enough then, and isn’t good enough in Wild. Is the change in cost, condition, or meta enough? *shrug* I’ll try it if I get it.

one mana is a huge difference (allows Pyro + Fireball for isntance). Also you don't need to necessarily go Reno, not to mention Solia never saw Pocket Galaxy in Standard, so there's that.

  • New Mage Minion - Dragoncaster

Well, Reno Dragon Mage is looking pretty good right now.

If you use it with Blizzard and Flamestirke it's sort of like Arcane Tyrant. It also allows for a TTK (and potential OTk with Pocket Galaxy) with Alex, Pyroblast and Fireball.

If not reno then just regular Dragon Control. Probably one of the strongest Mage cards in a while.

  • Shaman Legendary Card Reveal - Nithogg

    I disagree.

If your opponent can immediately deal 5 damage once and 3 damage twice by turn 6, he's the one ahead and Nithogg is a good way to buy you some time, at least.

It's more likely that at least one of the three bodies survives, and that's pretty good value for 6 mana.

So, in a vacuum, this is a pretty good card. It just needs to be seen if there is enough dragon synergy in Shaman to make it work.

  • Bandersmosh

Looks like Blizzard doesn't want to give Shaman more strong cards - this is just a meme. A good meme though.

  • New Card Reveal - Bad Luck Albatross

Great card; only downside would be if you were intending to mill, but then you wouldn't have it in your deck.  Solid stats with added bonus of messing with highlander and combo decks... I would guess this card will frustrate many :)

  • New Shaman Minion - Nithogg

ill say it's bad but still better than what it looks.

it not easy to do 11 damage split between 3 bodies on t6 unless if your opponent is aggro deck or use a boardclear on this. it might be easy to do 6 damage on t6 but but harder to split it without multiple card or board clears. at worse if the aggro deck and doesn't kill you its a 6 mana 5/5 battlecry restore 6-10 health or give you 1-2 4/4 with rush.

I think it bad  because i think it will be to slow, and is in fact the best used right after your opponent use a boardclear with no minion in the same turn.

But it's in that weird space where I won't be surprised if it's good.

  • New Mage Spell - Arcane Breath

pretty good early removal if reno Dragon mage is a thing

  • New Warlock Spell - Fiendish Rites

This card put a 2 2/1 minions ( demons, if that will matter) on the board and buffs the other you have for 3 mana.

The card is obviously not super strong, but isn't bad at all like the neutral invoke cards reveleas and plus it kinda works with the zoo style of deck that Galakrond warlock seems to be.

If the deck will be a thing it will run 2 of this for sure, the earlier you get to play a full evolved Galakrond the better.

  • New Warlock Spell - Nether Breath

Super good card. I see warlock dragon strong with the cards shown, the only possible way to play warlock with that low power Galakrond around

  • New Shaman Minion - Cumulo-Maximus

    Wohoo! A new Shaman card!

This actually looks pretty cool. It is not too hard to have overloaded mana crystals, and this is just as much a power play on turn 6, or 7 as it would be on turn 5.

This will be a very powerful card in a lot of shaman decks. And because of the restriction on the battlecry, shudderwock won't be blasting you in the face for 5 damage.

*edit* I just noticed that this can hit face, which means that with the quest it is a 7 mana 5/5 Pyroblast. As if quest shaman getting 4 copies of Fireball wasn't enough.

  • Two Mage Cards - Dragoncaster & Arcane Breath

she's in good company with Princess Huhuran

  • Two Mage Cards - Dragoncaster & Arcane Breath

    Tempo Dragon Mage?

  • New Warlock Minion - Dragonblight Cultist

One health minion for 3 mana. As long as mage exists this card is beyond useless.

  • New Shaman Minion - Nithogg

    Quote From UVE

    Trash card.

0/3 eggs will not survive unless shaman gets some kinda of Frost Nova.

I mean it's quite strong. In most cases at least one egg will survive.

  • New Warlock Minion - Crazed Netherwing

Really strong, finally something worth it for warlock in this expansion. I would argue that stats are too high compared to similar released cards

  • New Shaman Minion - Bandersmosh

I think people are underrating this one. There's plenty of Legendaries in the game that benefit heavily from being "downsized". Imagine a turn 5 Tirion....or Onyxia or even just Gruul.

On the other hand there's very few legendaries that aren't at least playable as 5-mana 5/5s. Wouldn't mind just throwing out a 5/5 Thalnos or even Nat Pagle.

The only truly bad results would be stuff like Deathwing or Millhouse....in which case you just wait a turn.

This fits the recurring Shaman thing of "pulling random stuff out of my ass to win me the game on the spot due to sheer RNG" (as previously seen in Evolve and Fleshshaper shenanigans)

The main difference to Shifter Zerus is the mana cost. If draw this before turn 5 there's a good chance that it will transform into something useful by the time you can play it.

I actually looked at all the available legendaries now and there's honestly not that many really bad outcomes. At worst you'd play this as just a blank 5/5 for tempo, which isn't the worst thing if the rest of your deck is solid...at best you can just win the game on the spot by cheating value.

a list of all the  good outcomes  (in terms of cost efficiency and occasional upside depending on which deck you're playing):

Lucentbark, Splintergraft, Cenarius, Houndmaster Shaw, Halazzi, Flark, Vereesa, King Krush, Emeriss, Arugal, Luna, Toki, Antonidas, Malacrass, Kalecgos, Kangor, Finley, Thekal, Glass Knight, Prince Liam, Tirion, Nozari, Shirvallah, Lazul, Amet, Lady in White, Bwonsamdi, Velen, Catrina Muerte, Princess Talanji, Van Cleef, Face Collector, Gral, Myra, Togwaggle, Electra, Zentimo, Vessina, Swamp qqueen Hagatha, Al'akir, Shudderwock, Jeklik, Tekhan, Dr. Morrigan, Glinda Crowskin, Rafaam, Godfrey, Betrug, Hir'eek, Jaraxxus, Voone, Darius Crowley, Armagedillo, Akali, Grom, Boom reaver, Thalnos, Nat Pagle, Brightwing, Zephrys (?), SnipSnap, Tinkmaster, Vargoth, Barista Lynchen, Greenskin, Dollmaster Dorian, Harrison Jones, Leeroy, Zilliax, Cairne, Hogger, Illidan, Mojomaster Zihi, The Black Knight, Azalina Soulthief, Baron Geddon, Ashmore,  HI Whiteman, Siamat, Gruul, Jepetto, Octosari, Alexstraza, Malygos, Onyxia, Ysera, Colossus of the mOon, King Phaoris.

As far as value goes, the odds are in your favour, and every so often you might jusst get exactly what you need (Tekhan in Quest Shaman would be insane, Al'akir in aggro)
