This is really solid in a Gonk Druid deck, but it's hard for me to see that being a thing right now. Quest Druid is just so powerful, and you'd never run a card like this in Quest Druid because of how quickly you'd lose the base hero power.
FWIW, I'm glad they're providing support for an archetype that sees no play, and that doesn't just slot into the best current archetype for the class. All too often these support tools either see no play or find their way into the best archetype and leave the "supported" one on the shelf. Maybe this will be enough to make Gonk a real fighter.
It's hard to say whether these cards will be any good. Due to the new mechanic of Sidequests, it seems likely we'll only know when people get a chance to use them. Overall, I'm not blown away by the Druid card. The Hunter rare looks at least playable, especially in Quest Hunter.
Interesting card. Could this be the return of some Miracle type of Druid (maybe Mecha'thun)? Gonk is still around and combo's nicely with this card. I think this is one of the beter sidequests revealed so far.
EVEN-RECRUIT-DMH-DEATHWING-WARRIOR! (+Skin of course)
You put in all 3 Dwings, Gather your Party, Woecleaver, Dimensional Ripper and then you complete it with DMH, Bring It on and maybe Varyan/Boom Reaver and
Very interesting card. You could either go for a Warrior aggro deck or taunt deck. Maybe even dragons. It allows for a lot of diverse decks. And it's free so everyone can try different things.
I think this card is too weak and won't see play. They pay-off isn't good enough on its own, and even in dedicated Quest decks it's a bit lackluster imo.
Loving this. Not likely it will see much use if I'm honest right away though. I mean so long as Dr. Boom is around do we really want this card all that much? I'd love to be wrong but I have serious doubts. Thinking it will take next year;s rotation to bring this card to life.
Actually was looking for some late game in "rush warrior" that list that was great and fun (for the player) before the atrocity of the wild event (which I don't know why it didn't END yet...) and this fits quite well probably even as baseline it's just good.. invoking galakrond in warrior is actually quite powerful being able to deal tonnes of damage to face or control the board.
For me that looks quite insane, drawing up to 4 minions and giving them +4+4 is insanely good effect. I think this will 100% see play in top tier deck.
This is a Tempo (Quest) Warrior card, and it's nice to see that archetype getting some new support. I think this will make a viable strategy. Very curious to see the Invoke cards for this class.
Welp looks like we now have a Galakrond to rival Rogue for the best. Everything about this is pants-on-head bonkers:
Every single time you invoke, you get a free attack, possibly buffed up by any number of good weapons. Presumably (?) you can chain multiple cheap invokes in a single turn for some insane burst potential
You can also tutor out some cheaper minions that would be nutso with stat buffs (hello there Vicious Scalehide, Zilliax, or any cheap Taunt) that will help take board control without having to burn through any of the standard Warrior removals.
OR you can go Charge Warrior and drop some truly vicious punches - 10 attack Leeeeroys? 14 attack Grommash? Heck even 8 attack Kor'kron Elites would be enough to permanently relocate to SMOrc City.
I really like this card. The hero power granting +3 attack really forces a change in game plan at the point that he comes into play, from defensive/stalling with armor up and removal into an offensive finisher with big guys. One of the biggest problems with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is the way it let you play even more controlling after dropping him, with massive armor boosts and improved removal options.
Eh don't like Warrior myself, and rarely play it, which means this will probably just end up as dust like all the other warrior legendaries, and of course, looks a bit OP.
You are given all copies of Galakrond for free, but IIRC they are not dust-able. Similar situation as C'Thun.
I can imagine this can be really strong, as well as it can be absolute trash. Meta will decide whether hyperaggro prevail (and I have strong hunch it will).

I want to use this with Fire Plume's Heart, to make my Taunts dangerously large. The extra Attack also allows you to remove early threats that the Taunts might struggle with. Unlike Hack the System, where you risk overwriting the rewarded HP with Galakrond, you can wait to play Sulfuras until after Galakrond to get the Ragnaros Hero Power.
It's all a question of space in the deck, fitting the Taunts and the Galakrond package together.
Secure the Deck
Hero Power Druid is the new Freeze Shaman. So many attempts at support, but I don't think any of them are viable as of yet
New Druid Spell - Secure the Deck
not sure how good this card is.. I mean 4 mana 6/6 attack/armor to hero.. that's bite.. you add to hand 3 cards that are not being run in a deck...
but on the other hand.. gadgetzan auctioneer is a card so it might be relevant for that reason.. I don't see it though.
Clear the Way
1 mana 4/4 rush is sufficiently spooky, especially with Springpaw being excellent support for this card

Galakrond, the Unbreakable
I'm potentially spooked by Aggro Zephrys Warrior. This package will replace Octosari in my build of that deck

Alright Guys, listen...

TAADAAA!
You're the Hero of Wild Rank 10!
Clear the Way
These days its pretty easy to summon 3 minions with rush and 4/4 with rush nice reward. Will definitely see play in midrange and quest hunter.
New Warrior Hero - Galakrond, the Unbreakable

I don't like it, it seems too slow to me. Maybe in wild could be better

This one is going to be wild....

Warrior Legendary Galakrond Reveal - The Unbreakable
More reasons to play aggro Warrior. And the hero power it's a Fiery War Axe pre-nerf. It seems pretty fun to play :-)
Toxic Reinforcements

Finally warrior gets a good non-control finisher
Clear the Way
A support card for Quest Hunter. But do you want to play this card instead of another minion? It's worth a try.
