I don’t mean to be rude, but is anyone else disappointed with the legendary dragon card art? They aren’t necessarily bad, just not very epic
I see what you mean, and partially agree with you : the art isn't bad, but those dragons dont have the same timeless classic stand or feel as their original iteration. So maybe not as epic - like you said - however, I do like how the artwork is dynamic
That's a nicely stated Dragon with a decent deathrattle effect too. I'm still skeptical with this whole Dragon-Rogue thing, but hey, maybe it can be real good
Little-spell quest mage will be so fun! You play the quest and sidequests, play a bunch of small spells, draw and generate even more spells. Even better with Flamewaker.
If your opponent kept a regular hand, they're now at disadvantage because they can't make full use of the 10 mana, other than dropping some midrange-y dudes, which you probably can answer.
If they got a bricky hand full of expensive cards, you're probably helping them out more than anything.
Interesting card. Time and time again we're proven that symmetrical cards aren't symmetrical at all, and it's not difficult to build around this (especially with Call to Adventure existing).
Really cool and really fun card. Will definitely lead to great games.
So 8 good outcomes, 7 decent outcomes and 11 bad outcomes. I think we'll receive at least another 1 or 2 big demons (even neutral ones) in order to justify this effect
Big thanks. Started to get it at the end of the beta.
Using 'Ready your Attack' to attack with stealth guys and then attack again during your attack turn seemed like a great way to get burst damage with an aggro deck.
Played Gaara's Katrina Aggro deck and it felt like the 'Ready your Attack' mechanic really punished all the greedy control decks I was seeing.
If anyone gets a question to devs on the side: will this be like the "forced" arena? I haven't played auto chess types as they don't seem to be interesting to me from what I have seen on YT/Twitch and would be very disappointed if during the course of a year additional quests/weeks are dedicated to a game mode that I am not interested in.
FWIW, I respect people that like other game modes (such as arena) but don't really like those modes "forced" on me. "Forced" since I know one can opt out but it's an opportunity cost...
No, the targets are random unless there are Taunts. But it does matter if you can attack with a minion before it gets "sniped" by the opponent, or before a minion that is buffing your board or provides extra effects, for example like Khadgar in the gameplay video, dies. It can change the coarse of the entire combat.
Im not gonna say that this will be a rocket science, but it will have a decent enough strategy depth imho.
Chances are your opponent hasn't planned their deck or mulligans to take advantage of 10 mana on turn 4/5 while you have. I think the card has a chance.
The Galakrond Hero Power is in the invoke minions/spells too, so don't underestimate that quickly.
Invoke will trigger Hero power right away, and in this case two imps every invoke.
The cards revealed so far has "Invoke Galakrond" so this hero card might not be as useless as you think it is.
Remember the time people thought druids DK was bad and it turned out to be very good, I think this could be the same case. if I'm right or wrong we will see that when the expansion is released.
Invoke cards are overcosted so this can be seen as a refund. 3 coins can enable pretty nasty combos too. Coin is the best rogue card since day 1. It can work imo
It doesnt actually. Comparing to other Auto battlers this is quite unique cause it still respects the HS cards effects and u can have more control on how the battle unfolds due to positioning taunts death rattles etc.
Unless u dont like Auto Chess type of games of course
Galakrond, the Nightmare
For some reason Blizzard's data insists on 30 Health even though 5 would make more sense in my opinion.
