Here is a new guide for Drafting, just posted within the last day.

For Expedition mode, one of the top 10 players in that mode (who is famous for creating good budget decks) just wrote up his guide for Expedition Budget Decks. Here's the link to the reddit post of it.

So I reached rank 6 the first week and I finished... rank 7. Worst season in a looong time. Sometimes I hate this game.

I would love to finally see some Shadowform support. This has always been my favourite card but even thoug hit's a classic card, other than Vol'jin there was no support at all. Hell, shaman has gotten freeze support for only having a single minor freeze card in their classic set....

Some more dragon-synergy cards would be great. I always liked the "battlecry: If you're holding a dragon" mechanic.

But even more so, I just want a good deck for mage and warlock again (zoolock excluded). I crafted highlander mage days before the nerfs and haven't played mage since.

Dragons. I know it's a meme but they are my favorite tribe and none were released so far this year (while we keep getting murlocs non-stop)

No specifics, but I'd love to see corrupted versions of each Dragon Aspect (no including Deathwing).  I have a strong suspicion that the neutral legendaries will be new versions of Nozdormu, Malygos, Ysera, Alexzstraza, and for the fifth a few people have thrown out Galakrond as a possible center piece of this expansion and I would honestly not mind seeing him come to Hearthstone if his resurrection is in fact the main aim of Rafaam, who then is likely being influenced by the Old Gods... which also explains why a previously unnamed fortuneteller was the chosen figure head from the Old Gods expansion to join the League of EVIL.  Because she is helping to bring her master(s) evil plan to fruition by keeping Rafaam on task.

I'm poking some fun at the usage of "survival" in the post as well as alluding to the potential for protests at Blizzcon, in part regarding Blizzard's stance of "resolutely safeguard the national dignity" of China (translation from an actual quote made by a Blizzard representative on an official Chinese social media platform).

However, there are serious undertones to the comment regarding how you go about conducting civil disobedience and peaceful protests, how best to maximise the impact of those protests and so on. However, I'm well aware that this isn't the platform for it.

I understand what he means and also why he has so many dislikes... and there is indeed a protest planned near the convention...

Just one (no intent of flaming): please make your game enjoyable for more than two weeks in a row.

As the title says. Whether it is something healthy or not. It's just a wish.

I'll start with mine, from my own Wild perspective:

• An anti-Mech Crab (E.M.P. Operative is just unplayable).
• An anti-Secret tech that Heals you for each destroyed Secret
• An anti-Reno version of Loatheb (6-mana, maybe a Dragon?).

Basically, i really want more smart cards that can easily be included in a deck, and that do not kill the opponent's strategy, but they reward you for timely plays.

And i think that these kind of cards would greatly help Wild from turning into a deranged trashbin.

This is the deck I use for wild. To be fair, I got it from someone at hearthpwn.  Recently I cut hucksters in favor of a toggwaggles scheme and a pharaoh cat. 

It performs very well, even against secret mage and other top tier decks if piloted wisely.

My point with zephrys is, since rogue doesn't have access to strong board clears even against control decks in wild you need the upgraded weapon up asap for pressure and survivability.

Thus anyone with zephrys can anticipate very early how to disrupt your win condition.

If unanswered, the weapon can grow insanely strong. 

But I like your list and haven't tried it yet. So I'll head into the new season with it and come back with a feedback.

I don't get it. How does a survival guide not come with recommendations for how to deal with peaceful protests? No recommendations on polite but civil disobedience? No advice as to whether you should go in wearing a red shirt or putting it on afterwards?

1. The thing is, it’s not for you to decide what decks belong in each format. What would happen if someone with your logic decided that [insert your wacky T5 deck here] is cancerous and unfun to play against, decided you’re a dick for playing it and roped you for no reason other than that? That’s basically what you’re doing to those people bringing T1 decks. Every person has their idea of fun and annoying, you don’t have any special authority that allows you to equate playing certain decks with something objectively dickish, like roping.

 

2. The fact you feel better and enjoy your game more by getting a petty revenge on people you think were being annoying instead of being mature and moving on isn’t worthy of praise.

 

You can clearly see most people here agree with me. You can either see that as a sign you may be on the wrong after all, or ignore it. I couldn’t care less.

1. You're correct that I cannot decide what goes where - only Blizzard can. I, however, can decide how I react to what I encounter just like everyone else. If Blizzard thought me roping someone every turn was inappropriate, then they could stop that as well (idk rope 5 turns in a row and you forfeit?). But they don't do that either. So it's up to each and every player to decide what and how they want to play. I'll do me; you do you.

2. Also not praiseworthy is taking some BS moral high ground where you declare what you choose to do is Right and Good and Fine and what I do is Bad and Wrong. In a video game. That's free. 

3. Always funny to see people who reply to you what 3 or 4 times now suddenly "couldn't care less." But yeah between that and the ad populum fallacy of what maybe a dozen people on this thread think, you sure showed me!

4. Interesting that all the people condemning me haven't bothered to respond to my suggestion about making Casual have no gold rewards. If you wouldn't play a mode without some sort of reward, then you're acknowledging that you're - at least in part if not entirely - doing it FOR the rewards. And that's my point: your rewards shouldn't come at the expense of others.

Honestly, I think that you overestimate the number of people who are "farming" ( I assume you think about 10g per 3 win). Most people who have the means to do it (t1 decks) probably have large enough collection and gold/dust bank by now that it would be really inefficient way of earning gold for them. Have in mind that if you face that number of good decks, they are facing them too, so it doesn't make much sense to farm there if it is not much easier than low-tier ranked (where you also get gold portrait counts). So I think they are there mostly for other reasons, and would stay there even without rewards for winning.
