Yeah last week getting your deck to be full with BFF is cool and all, but it's kinda sucking the fun out of doing it fast for me since it's just "play a card and go face for 2-3 turns". At least the rewards are nice.
I was literally thinking about creating this thread earlier today. I started playing Mythgard a couple weeks ago and so far I really enjoy it. The 2v2 mode it features is crazy fun and honestly very much welcomed considering what the other CCGs have to offer. The game is pretty generous for f2p players and its deckbuilding potential is huge for creative players. The community is apparently still relatively small but growing strong (pretty active on reddit).
With bff it becomes too easy lol, have 20. So much for replay value. Although I think you can get rid of them by removing them from your adventure deck one by one...
I’ve heard too many games being labeled as the Hearthstone killer (Eternal, Elder Scrolls, Gwent, Arena, as well as a few others I’m probably forgetting about) to have much hope in this one.
The aesthetic of the game doesn’t really do it for me, just looks a lot like Eternal to me. Might try it out, might sign up and then just forget to ever play like I did with Gwent
yeah it's a thing that happens now. The theory is that if you've been winning your matches very fast the game offers you empty boxes so your deck doesnt get diluted with garbage
Man, every deck has 11 BFFs and it completely deflates the challenge. I wish there was a heroic version of this or something. It's no fun rushing through every match because I have a turn 1 11/11 charge taunt :(
Just watched some Trumps videos about the game. seems a real contender. The economy will be decisive. And the timing of announcement as left many HS dissidents (consequence of the HK incident) excited for it. It has the brand, it has the looks, the hype the best mechanics from HS and MtG without the land system plus a new mana spell system. It has all the ingredients. It will live or die by the game's economy which at first glance seem very friendly too f2p.
I gotta be honest, after Artifact bombing hard and all games of this genre being a step or two behind HS i have some doubts about this one as well HOWEVER it does seem promising and we may be on the edge of a new digital TCG king.

Dual-class arena best classes and combinations
Got 12 wins with Shaman/Warlock. Ran into another one at 10/1.
Meet a lot of Warrior/Mage and Priest/Mage at higher ranks, so I guess that works well.
Candletaker
actually no terrible
Lance Carrier
Arena filler
Dr. Boom
After the domination, sadly a non-factor
12 Wins Decklists
12-2 dual class, with Shaman + Warlock. MVP is definitely 2x Healing Rain, it gave me a lot of comeback opportunities.

Can we create a dedicated section for Mythgard?

Doom in the Tomb Week 2 - Tavern Brawl & Freebies
I beat it in 15 minutes because of BFF. This card is dumb.
*edit* fastest run is now 9 minutes and 15 seconds. The only boss to survive more than 2 turns was the headless horsemen. He died on turn 3.
Doom in the Tomb Week 2 - Tavern Brawl & Freebies
I went back to Hagatha and used Duplotransmogrifier to get rid of the BFFs. They were cool for 1 run, now I never want to use them again.
Doom in the Tomb Week 2 - Tavern Brawl & Freebies
Just a bug, got it under 30 to be given nothing. At least I enjoy it!
Doom in the Tomb Week 2 - Tavern Brawl & Freebies
after finishing all the PVE content on heroic this normal one would feel pointless so I shamelessly used BFF from last week..
this is recycled content anyway..

It says there's a 30 minute award as well( I got 30 min 15 seconds bleh). Is this wrong?
Doom in the Tomb Week 2 - Tavern Brawl & Freebies
Also, don’t complete your arena run. Stop at 2 loses for a ticket once the event is over
Everyfin is Awesome
Wild Murlocs
Sunreaver Spy
Dangerous in Pally
Gurubashi Chicken
The Axe!!
Reno the Relicologist

I definitely didn't have the explorers as an option. still have The league of EVIL. I was definitely confused. Got all the rewards though.
Legitimately didn't see them added below lol.
