Possibly 8 extra damage to face assuming there isn't a Taunt in the way and it doesn't buff a sleeping minion. I'm not sure if that's good for 6 mana, but given that condition it would definitely win you some games.
I think I could see this being pretty good. I guess the best use would be giving three large minions Divine Shield, or even popping the shield and casting it again on the same minion.
I guess Spell Damage makes this good. Otherwise, I'm not sold on 6 randomly split damage for 3 Mana. Randomly split is the issue here. A 3 Mana Fireball would be insane.
I don't know if this is supposed to be used as a mana cheat with a Big Spell Mage deck, but I don't think this is likely to survive until your next turn. And paying 3 Mana to make a spell cost 2 less on the same turn is nonsensical.
These locations that can re-open early are an interesting mechanic. I could easily see you being able to use up all three uses in a single turn with this.
Definitely not so great if there are weak low-Health minions on the board. I'll have to see how well this works out, but I imagine it requiring some setup.
On the one hand, if the spell you draw costs 7 or more, it's a good deal, on the other you lose the ability to pick your target. In most cases, I guess it doesn't matter.
Obviously you'd want to draw an expensive spell with this. I just have to see what mana cheating options there are before I can guess if a Big Spell Mage will work.
Your understanding really fills a need. I’ve been trying to track down this sort of article and you seriously came through. Can you believe that what you wrote pretty much exactly replicates my very own experience.Security Pact

The book is very cool, I have read it many times! If it weren’t for my work in drawing https://drawnbyhislight.com how to draw easily and simply, I would be happy to reread it because every time I reread it I find something new for myself!
Alright, so why would I want to buff my guy, then make it unable to attack? It would just be asking to be removed before I can take advantage of the buff.
New Paladin Spell - Power Spike

New Paladin Spell - Lifesaving Aura
These sunscreens don't look all that strong, though I can guess you can get a lot of them. You'll probably be dead before you do though.
New Paladin Spell - Divine Brew
I think I could see this being pretty good. I guess the best use would be giving three large minions Divine Shield, or even popping the shield and casting it again on the same minion.
New Paladin Minion - Lifeguard
I think this might be better in Mage decks than Paladin decks.
New Paladin Minion - Service Ace
After a quick look at Paladin buff options in Standard, I think I can say maybe.
New Paladin Spell - Sea Shanty
Now I have to wonder if decks will be running a bunch of cheap spells and playing this for free. All you would need is ten.
New Paladin Minion - Sanc'Azel
Remornia, Living Blade except it switches between location and minion instead of weapon and minion. Cool. And also looks really strong.
New Mage Spell - Seabreeze Chalice
I guess Spell Damage makes this good. Otherwise, I'm not sold on 6 randomly split damage for 3 Mana. Randomly split is the issue here. A 3 Mana Fireball would be insane.
New Mage Minion - Marooned Archmage
I don't know if this is supposed to be used as a mana cheat with a Big Spell Mage deck, but I don't think this is likely to survive until your next turn. And paying 3 Mana to make a spell cost 2 less on the same turn is nonsensical.
New Mage Location - Tide Pools

New Mage Spell - Rising Waves
Definitely not so great if there are weak low-Health minions on the board. I'll have to see how well this works out, but I imagine it requiring some setup.
New Mage Minion - Surfalopod
On the one hand, if the spell you draw costs 7 or more, it's a good deal, on the other you lose the ability to pick your target. In most cases, I guess it doesn't matter.
New Mage Spell - Under the Sea
Obviously you'd want to draw an expensive spell with this. I just have to see what mana cheating options there are before I can guess if a Big Spell Mage will work.
New Mage Spell - Go with the Flow
Interesting design. Nice offensive and defensive choices.
New Mage Spell - Tsunami
This doesn't sound too bad. If an enemy isn't killed, it will at least be frozen, potentially keeping you alive for longer.
New Mage Minion - Raylla, Sand Sculptor
What does combining this with Paladin cards get you? Divine Shield synergy? Is there even anything on that front?

The Book of the Law
New Neutral Minion - Coconut Cannoneer
Just adjacent minions, huh? You're probably going face if you're playing pirates, so 2 extra damage. 3 if one of the adjacent minions has Windfury.
New Neutral Minion - Cryopractor
Alright, so why would I want to buff my guy, then make it unable to attack? It would just be asking to be removed before I can take advantage of the buff.
New Neutral Minion - Terrible Chef
This seems alright. Nerubian Egg costs 2 Mana. 1 extra gets you a way to consistently pop it.
