The Quest Paladin deck is still functional without Kangor's and Tirion, making it a deck with only two legendaries. It's worth a try, especially if you already have most of it.

Da Undatakah can often be overkill while Tirion is too slow.

I find that it is better to run Jepetto Joybuzz or Siamat or even no big guy at all and use the slot for more removal.

I think the quests have a very polarizing affect on the game. For Priest, Paladin,  Shaman and Druid: 95% of the encounters atm use the quest. So that means that you have to face a quest deck about 50% of the time at least. Also for these classes, as soon as their quest is on-line, the win-rate increases drastically since they have enormous rewards, especially Shaman and Druid, their mana value is almost doubled (shaman deducts 2 for HP). So this is basically a later game permanent mana cheat. Druid is weaker initially since it has to float mana, but Shaman does not and in my view Shaman is therfore OP at the moment. This quest should be nerfed.

I feel a bit sorry for mage and warlock. Warlock is forced into zoo since their other decks are unplayable. Plot Twist can be fun but is too dependent on RNG and good draws. Mage got the galaxy nerf and has the weakest quest. There are still viable decks though like reno, conjurer's mage and maybe secret mage? Although secret mage got a lot of interesting cards, it still lacks the power of the old tempo mage that had Mana Wyrm into [Hearthstone Card (Arcanalogist) Not Found] into [Hearthstone Card (Kirin Tor Mage[Hearthstone Card (and then a free Explosive Runes. Now you can do Secretkeeper into Ancient Mysteries but your are still behind one minion compared to the earlier tempo mage deck. Secret mage needs a stronger turn 2 play to make it really work.

TBH I would replace half the deck throw out all the underpowered C'thun minions and all that are not battlecries, add quest, add the jade package, and add the veklor twins as well.

I've tried to make a deathrattle rogue but It never paid off. Iusually tried to include more deathrattles, Anka and Undatakah.

I'd like to try this deck out, however I miss Edwin and Octosari.

Although having 6k dust, I'm not sure that using them on Octosari Is that good of idea.

Any tips?

Which just shows that how exceptionally broken was it at 7 mana.

Hakkar decks are great, love my Wild Hakkar Priest.

I'd really like to play Hakkar in Standard as well, but I am missing Anka, the Buried and Mischief Maker.

I am hesitant to craft those two just for the fun of it. Any replacements? ;)

Why do you hate fun so much?  Specifically, why are you so against ME having fun?  You've done that consistently on Hearthpwn and now you're doing it here.

I'm all for fun. I can screenshot the 18 decks I'm currently using in HS if you'd like for proof of that, but you can't have a format that bans net decks even in a highly optimistic world. Even fun decks get net decked. The thing is people generally feel less bad playing against them because they aren't typically consistent so they feel less oppressive, but they still are actual net decks. Tesspionage Rogue is a great example of this. It started off as a fun semi-meme deck and look at how many people started playing it. So ironically a format that bans net decking would actually discourage players from sharing fun decks because if said decks caught on too well they would become what I said in my last post ("meme netdecks") and automatically get banned out of their own format for being copy pasta'ed. That would be counterintuitive to a 'non-netdeck format'

Great write up! I dont think having this when I started is what I would want for myself back then but I like having it now. Kinda glad I got to learn the hard way. TBH I didnt care about winrate for at least a year, maybe two. I was Just stoked to play and even more stoked when I won haha. 

I think I learned more through experience than through any sort of statistic. HOWEVER- now I really love these stats on hs replay. There is so much great information and data to study and use to your advantage. I have been a premium member for quite some time!

I have no idea when those times are. US folks just do their US timezones. But I can open some tabs over the weekend and leave them to their thing.
