I think quite a few people have trouble seeing a control deck as a real problem. usually the complaints go towards Aggro or Combo decks. (Because those have been more often a problem) That being said, this deck has been untouched pretty much since Witchwood other than the rotation of Baku. Because lets be real, Control Warrior is pretty much the spiritual successor of Odd Warrior, just less cancerous to the game. That doesn't mean that it isn't still a very strong deck currently. Were it not for Mage and Combo Priest this deck would be S tier. It is strong for the same reason Druid was strong last year and Hunter was strong a bit later. A reasonably good basic and classic set, which synergises heavily with already good cards recieved over the course of multiple expansions + It has Dr Boom.

Unless you want to play Reno Secret Mage for some reason, the Frost [Hearthstone Card (Lich Jaina) Not Found] goes into every reno deck.

And bomb warrior is totally a thing! A friend hit legend yesterday with it. Went 10-0.

working well for me 8-4 so far, only losing when I get no AOE, I don't have deathwing dragonlord so substituted Silvanas Windrunner instead, a healing taunt ot abomination might have been better.

Original highlander decks back in the day frequently used Brann to double up (or more) on Kazakus potions and none of those cards were nerfed. Taking advantage of double-dipping effects in highlander decks has been a 101 value strat from the get go. There's nothing uncharacteristic of standard highlander mage doubling up on the modern 'Kazakus potion' known as giants

Fair point, but I'd say there's a big difference between building a highlander deck which allows you to generate extra copies of cards and just being given 2 copies of CC straight off the bat with no effort whatsoever required

Magnetic Handbuff is really fun. Dragon Speaker is really good when it can hit everything, and you can throw the magnetic buffs onto Argent Horserider or Stonetusk Boar for burst.
