CrazyCat is the bot in the US region and QuirkyTurtle is the bot in the EU region. They are particularly useful to complete the Mercenaries Fighting Pit achievements. You will encounter these bots many times more at lower ratings.

I think CrazyCat is a bot, replacing "your opponent" for me, at least. I face CrazyCat whenever I am leveling mercs in PVP (which is my method of choice). The party is always a random mix of mercs, and their level always mirrors the levels of the mercs in my party.

For example, if I have two maxed mercs doing the "carry", then CrazyCat has two maxed mercs and then the remainder are mercs levels 1-29 (whatever I have in my party). It's usually a pretty easy win, but sometimes I get a really bad match up (CrazyCat has 5 protectors versus my 4 fighters, ouch!) and it gets really interesting.

Kinda interested in Seraphine. I'm not sure she'll be THAT stronk since her mechanic mean that she'll double each 2- spell only once (so her own spell will be boosted only once, nevertheless quite a decent card) and also because random generator isn't exactly a compelling mechanic unless you can have a 3-choice because so many spells are based on a specific playstyle. Still it's hard to ask more from such a premium body low cost card.

Not a game winner, but definitely a potent addition to any spell based card which want huge value at the price of consistency. I can very much imagine a Lee Sin/Seraphine deck when you deal with early game with cheap spells and bodies and finish with Lee with more cheap spell to easily trigger his effect. And well Ionia love Cascade.

And yeah The Expanse's Protection already need a nerf before release. So much of design space and needing a so called Rotation format.

To be honest, I don't think the new Diablo installments will be any better than Diablo 2 Resurrected. That was probably the best part of that game. When I bought it from yes gamers store, I didn't even think I would like it that much. And now when I see news about new parts coming out, I don't think they're going to be very good.

Ultimately, there are two play patterns in LOR currently.

You either play your hand out like diarrhea from a dog's *** or your essentially play nothing at all.

Trying to level or develop unique wincons is essentially pointless, aka playing the game.

We saw this pretty heavily at seasonal and we see it on ladder, and everywhere else.

The only problem with that is, it doesn't actually matter what you're playing does it if everything you're playing is played the same?

Pretend you're playing mtg for 5 seconds you have a deck with cards, that do a thing.

Then there's a thing you're trying to do.

Then do that thing.

I know it's a lot to ask, but humor me.

The offer I got after reaching Gold on ladder was 35 Standard packs for 2000 Runestones. Basically twice the Silver offer, which makes it even less attractive to me.

Protecting open attacks from spell interaction while being a 5 mana 4/3 tough challenger? That's about the best demacian midrange card we had in a while. Also is a 2 mana 1/1 tough equipment respectable aswell

All in all I can't see a world where this is not at least a 2 of in demacian midrange lists and therefore it's 5 stars for me.

You're pretty much better playing anything other then a Freijord dominated list, and certainly not a Freijord control list most of all

There is a Tahm Kench list that isn't awful where you just Aram and then hope you R and G into a better region wincon like Lee Sin but wait I kinda just proved my point

regarding the non-pun related discussion, relic dh might have lost steam due to Breast hunter being so broken but that deck definitely has the potential to be top tier. i cant count the number of times i had a relic dh do some incomprehensibly powerful shit against me immediately after the mini set dropped. they struggle against the big beast walls but if/when that deck gets nerfed i expect to relic dh performing at or near the top

Freljord has plenty of win cons what they need is tools to stabilise until they can use them, giving the region better removal or better healing should do the trick.

Arson Accusation is a perfectly good card. There's no reason to call it a loser -- it's more of a sidegrade. It works great if you choose to swap it into a deck that uses removal. However, because it's not hugely better than whatever it replaces, people just don't bother.

They used run bloodletters at first but they dump it in favor of Forsaken Baccai for more consistency and better trades.

Freijord remains the absolute best region in the game, I think we all know that.

You can spend somewhere between 3-5 mana to frostbite something which is a strictly worse stun or bounce

You can spend 4 mana to possibly mystic shot more then one thing

and you can overpay on ramp

All that with your only hard removal option buried in ice being an astounding 9 mana

Even if you play the list optimally and run something proper like captain arnika at 8 you're still basically instantly loosing on tempo, or on control.

Essentially the worse case scenario.

So how do you fix the objectively best region in the game?

Give them wincons that win?

Give them control tools that control?

Give them tempo tools that tempo?

Basically anything really that would allow it to compete on the try hard scale that we seem to be inundated with in this game.

Don't get me wrong two years ago avalanche may have been okay, frostbite may have been okay, but by todays standards unplayable.

I want to say that a 2 mana ice shards is a step in the right direction and it is, but everything else is a joke.

Have to reccommend: "Child 44" from Tom Rob Smith, it is a really good book in my opinion and it does not get as much love as it should (at least from hispanic culture). It is about an investigation on Child murders set in the Soviet Union.

While recommending this, I found out it is part of a Trilogy involving the same main character but more in the "Dan Brown" or "Agatha Christie" way rather than "J.K. Rowling" with Harry Potter, or more serialised books.

Also there is a movie made about it, but I have not seen it, so I can´t comment on it.

Also, "Funny Dirty Little War" by Osvaldo Soriano is really good, it packs some irony and black humor, and perfectly explains Argentina´s political landscape and civil conflicts during the 70's. It is a really interesting and light read.
