Guilty. I sometimes queue a new match while doing something else like responding to messages or grabbing a snack. It‘s a little ego but it‘s only a matter of second
All this drama about Toast is bad for both Toast and the community.
Has there been that much drama?
At the risk of being unpopular...it's just one card reveal and the final reveal stream is in two days time.
Not about the card but about Toast's recent involvement towards HS. At least from his tweet, it sounds like some drama happened, not sure about it.
Either way, his declaration is out of place. If he accepted the reveal, he should have performed it, if he didn't, it's blizz mistake for not handling this stuff privately.
Yep, it also looks like Thijs didn't recieve any card to reveal and that have upset people even more considering he's probably one (if not the most) popular streamer of HS nowdays on top of being a multi-world champion.
Another bad marketing decision by Blizzard, I suppose.
I really don't understand people and feeling behind being a fan but really, Who really cares which streamer reveals a card and even how they are playing the game.
I just wanted to learn what happened on reddit and why Toast sent back the the card. This marketing stuff with streamers really works ? I mean I don't really understand how someone can be a fan of another person and make decisions -especially for buying the game/packs etc.- according to those moves.
This is an auto include in the paladin quest. It is one of the best reborn minions revealed so far, but that quest still needs better options if it is going to be competitive.
This card is insane. It doesn't have the body of the spider so it's not quite as good tempo rogue but the ceiling and flexibility is so much higher because you can use it on bigger minions that give more utility. Shark rogue already plays the long game pretty well, and this can make that deck even stronger there.
For me it was the urge to jam some Murloc Shaman at the start of Ungoro.
I had a blast just hurting people with Everyfin is Awesome and Old Murk-Eye. It was quite a fun meta to be in, until (broken record alert) Big Priest showed up and effectively killed most control strategies.
Those substitutions are fine I think but will certainly decrease the consistency. Voodoo Doll is great because it can be used in so many ways with the lackeys, as a sacrifice for more draw, or lackey creation. Lord Godfrey is not as important as Voodoo Doll in my opinion.
Depends on where you are on the ladder - but I'd assume most of those people are psuedo-AFK. They're playing, but they're also texting/messaging/watching a video.
It doesn't do anything the turn it's played though, so it's more like Beneath the Grounds than like Fal'dorei Strider. Being able to pick the minion might be useful enough for it to be included as a one-of in some decks, but I don't expect it to be a staple like Strider was.
Hellfire for Lord Godfrey is an acceptable swap. He’s great for a huge tempo swing though, especially against aggro. Barista Lynchen is much harder to substitute because she can copy half of your deck. So if you are in an aggro matchup she adds all the lackeys and generators and your healing back to your hand. The flexibility is hard to replace, but a second Omega Agent would help against warrior. After Uldum, Lynchen will be an amazing card in this and the new Shaman battlecry deck that is due to come. I crafted her with that in mind.
My first thought was Silence Priest. If the board is relatively empty you can place this down, next turn Wailing Soul for two big boys without the downside. If it’s taken some damage use Circle to heal up!
The downside only lasts a single turn that way, so they either play a bunch of little crap or one biggermid game minion.
Yeah I didn't take it as BM as much as some "strategy." I'm asking because there's just been a hugely noticeable uptick in occurrences recently. So just odd that suddenly there's a big influx of more "thoughtful" players - especially when many of those are playing things like Murloc Shaman or Token Druid i.e. decks that have fairly standard openings.
This could be a really interesting card. Helps you in situations where you might go into fatigue but also has utility even when that isn't the case. Add in Augmented Elek for extra shenanigans.
I like the Quest card: Hack the System for the theme and synergy with so many different Warrior weapons in both Standard & Wild, hopefully a tempo/rush Warrior build will be viable this expansion.
It's pretty obvious Toast returned the card (he did it more than a week ago) because he doesn't like how the company treated him during these years and doesn't want to be related to it in any way anymore, that's all. People, remember this guy has a vendetta towards Blizzard, hehe. :P :P :P
And as I posted on Hearthpwn, anyone believing in Toast's words and the community having some impact on his decision, needs to grow up and stop believing in Santa Clauss... XD XD XD
Turn 1 is shorter than other turns. Maybe ppl just thinking about their cards or something. Sure, they can be dicks, but if they rope only T1, chances are they didnt do it on purpose.
Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Shadow of Death
i think this card will go pretty well with Tak Nozwhisker
Seem like made for each other
Legend Wackey Lackey Handlock
Ok, you sold me. Second copy of Voodoo Doll crafted :)
Turn 1 rope?

So, there will be no card reveal today?

Are burnt out streamers good for HS?

Those fan emotions are really weird for me.
[Rank 5 to Legend] Wild Shudderwock
Sorry if this is addressed elsewhere, but what's the verdict on Spirit of the Frog?
I run a version (I think one of the older Tempo Shudder decklists) with Spirit and Evolve.
Is it just that these cards are less anti-aggro, which doesn't fit with the current meta?
EDIT: PS thanks for the detailed write up!
What got you into Wild?
I dont like being restricted by time and it has the cards I love that rotated out
New Neutral Minion - Bone Wraith

Also tons of weird combo possibilities.
Hallow's End
Yeah, I'm not one who cares all that much about card backs, but I always enjoy seeing this one, whether it's in season or not!

Uldum Priest Card Reveal - Embalming Ritual
can zerek please be good now.
Uldum Card Reveal - Mortuary Machine

Conjured Mirage
This will be fun to experiment in silence priest and it will also have good utility to not go into fatigue potentially.

Thanks for making this suggestion I think that would be a great change.
