I don't think I need to explain why. Either you love Yogg or you hate it. I loved Yogg, aAnd this is Spell Yogg! I am definitely looking forward to play this card!!
I think you're right: Warlock is unlikely to get enough value from Tekhan. But when a Rogue discovers him off Hench-Clan Burglar, it will bring back the memories/nightmares of Crystal Core.
I think Nefarian will be the Big Bad of the third expansion. There were some hints towards that in the Fire Festival: the reward cards were Bronze Herald (a dragon) and Recurring Villain, plus Nefarian says "I'll be back" when you defeat him.
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. I love that it will always cast 10 random spells (unless someone dies I guess) and can't "kill itself' like Yogg could. Should make for some hilarious games ^_^. Can't wait to make some absurd Reno deck with it xD
Raid the Sky Temple. I'm a big Reno fan, and the artwork on this is just... perfect for him, lol. Mage is also my favorite class right now, and I love tossing together decks that provide late game surprises. This one's got some potential for that!
It's quite a bit more flexible than a 2/3 weapon: you can hit two targets, you can react to deathrattle summons and reborn, if you only need one damage or run the token into a 0-attack minion, you get to keep the token. And that's even before considering the beast synergies.
I see this as Candleshot and Springpaw in one card and both of those saw a lot of play.
I would cut Shield Block for that 1-Mana Minion that draws a rush minion. You want a tempo deck, but you cut that 1-mana minion and add an reactive card? Feels contradictive to me.
Then I would cut one Elekk for Grommash Hellscreen and cut that 3-mana Worgen for 1-mana Lackey generator. I guess Lackey are more useful than that 3/3. It's also an addition as Grom activator. Alternative you could cut that 3/3 for Beserker, hes just too good in agressive decks.
Hey Flux, how to block comments I don't like? Oh shit, I'm doing the same thing this guy is demonstrating right here. OH NO.
It's not comments he doesn't like, it toxic comments. OOC is better than hearthpwn because the toxicity here is nothing like Hearthpwn. If you can't say anything that contributes to a good community, why would people want to see what you say?
Dark Pharaoh Tekahn (4): First of all, you have to get Lackeys to get any value from the battlecry, so solely draft dependant. Then you have to play this before lackeys. Quite unrealistic that you would be able to do all that in an average deck. But it can happen.
Desert Spear (3): It is not the worst weapon ever, but kinda awkward. You can distribute the damage, that is nice, but still. Im not sure how i feel about it.
Vilefiend (3): Ok 2-drop. Less stats, some healing, could be worse. Warlock might like it for the demon tag.
Well not just boardclears, but priest has a lot copying effects in Seance and Shadowy Figure, as well as minion stealing effects in Mind Control and Cabal Shadow PriestLazul's Scheme combo that essentially steal your Lucentbark gameplan. Additionally, there are priest cards that copy cards in your opponent's deck turning your Lucentbark combos against you with Faceless Manipulator and Gloop Sprayer. I firmly believe that a well-built control priest would be able to defeat whatever new Lucentbark deck comes out, and I don't think it's too far to say that a control priest deck will pop up, considering the only stopping it is that warrior currently has a better endgame than priest. From what few cards we've seen from SoU for priest, the new tools priest will get only aid it in the control gameplan (we haven't even seen the quest yet which could be a game changer). This is all from experience I have had playing control priest in the RoS meta against the few Lucentbark decks I have run into, but nonetheless have always ended the same.
In all honesty, the Plague of Death comment was just a joke that apparently wasn't taken well.
A lot of people disagree but I really like Colossus of the Moon. A lot of people say that it's too simple and doesn't deserve its legendary tag but I like the powerful combination of Divine Shield and Reborn, plus the massive stats, and the danger that can come from cheating it out, balanced by inconsistency.
The reason this card is legendary is because it's too dangerous to be epic.
Sir Finley of the Sands by far. Have always loved reno/highlander decks. and this seems like a versatile card to give a value boost to a classic midrange paladin. A deck we hopefully will see in the meta once again.
Armagedillo is my favorite card because i loved old quest taunt warrior and this enables taunt warrior in a new way. plus the art and flavor are awesome
