I ain't complaining about these cards in particular, but is anybody else disappointed by the lack of Dragon emphasis in the Year of the Dragon? There were rather few in Rise of Shadows and so far, Saviors looks even thinner there.
yeah what I meant by replacement was "Would you run Whirlwind just for Plague of Wrath?" There will be situations where you will draw Whirlwind but not Plague of Wrath and Whirlwind just kinda sits in your hand where as Warpath itself is a semi-boardclear. I know Warpath will rotate next year so im hoping that another type of Whirlwind effect comes out with Plague of Wrath
Golems have been mindless lackeys since their conception. Haven't you watched that incredibly old German film about them? Or , well, that Halloween Simpsons episode that parodies it.
Am I the only one finding the new lackey somewhat "underwhelming" in comparison to other lackeys?
Maybe I'm wrong but; It could have been printed as a one drop non-lackey card and not be considered "op" as opposed to other lackeys like Ethereal Lackey. The best comparison would probably be the Goblin Lackey as both lackeys needs a minion to work properly. The differences in my opinion is that Goblin Lackey is very proactive, where Titanic Lackey is only "passive".
Sure it serves a defensive purposes; Which certainly is not "bad" but way more situational.
If they print more lackey-generating cards for Warlocks, Dark Pharaoh Tekahn can be the MVP in Zoo decks. Warlocks can be hard to come back from AOE spells, but this card will add a bit more survivability to the archetype. It may hopefully revive the deck in wild too and make it viable again, to an everlasting stale meta.
Dark Pharaoh Tekahn is a great card - the power of Crystal Core attached to a 4/4 body is pretty compelling, and the fact that it will only affect up to 6 cards (at least today - 2x EVIL Genius and 2x EVIL Cable Rat) means its power level is not absurdly oppressive. This may limit the extent to which Warlock can get more lackey generating tools - we don't need a new Quest Rogue deck in the meta - but it may also make for some wacky games where you fill your hand with lackeys and use Plot Twist + Augmented Elekk with Fel Lord Betrug and/or Dollmaster Dorian to get a bunch of extra 4/4s both in play and in hand. Given the sheer power of each lackey's battlecry, shuffling a bunch into your deck actually doesn't seem like a crazy thing to do.
Sort of a bummer that EVIL Recruiter ends up far less impactful after you've dropped Dark Pharaoh Tekahn, but it's still a great effect if you use your 4/4 lackey to value trade and then destroy it to get a 5/5 with (potentially) relevant tribal synergies.
Even if this card doesn't see play this expansion despite its sweet effect, it's one of those cards that needs to be looked at every time a new lackey generator is printed for warlock.
I'm pretty sure this will confidently slot into zoolock one day. Whether Saviors of Uldum is that day, only time can tell.
My favorite card is Colossus of the Moon, because I enjoy playing control decks and bigger minions and I think this card will fit right into the decks I enjoy creating.
A very strong card, but I think a deck based around this alone would need more. If zoo is strong in the next expansion, then I would bet this card will be bonkers. If zoo will be in a similar state as in RoS, then I'm not sure this card alone will save the deck.

My favourite one so far is Puzzle box of Yogg-Saron because anything can happen :) would be cool to win on my birthday gl hf everyone :)

Anka, The Buried is my favorite reveal so far. Not only does it enable some combo decks especially in wild, but it’s also supports deathrattle rogue.
Now only if there was something better for big rogue, that would be spicy.

Tekahn will definetly see play, and love to see a new lackey (wish there were more) to dilute the pool.

Arcane Flakmage! I love me some old school secret mage, and this will be great to finally get my gold mage hero with
New Warlock Minion - Dark Pharaoh Tekahn
As worded, I think it also buffs Lackeys on board. Serious tempo, even if you only hit one.
Uldum Paladin Card Reveal - Micro Mummy
Crystallizer maybe ?
Also it is more likely designed for quest.
Uldum Paladin Card Reveal - Micro Mummy
it was just a +. The real thing here is it leaves a mech to magnetize. Sticky mechs are always good for magnetize.

There's so many fascinating build-around cards this expansion!
I'm just gonna exclude them and pick Earthquake, because I love shaman and I can't wait to have a better flamestrike.

Mine is the new Warlock Quest Supreme Archaeology, I really want to see the Plot Twist deck shine.
New Warrior Spell - Plague of Wrath
Whirlwind was worthy to use Sleep with the Fishes. So why not with also Plague of Wrath. Also remember that Paladin always uses Equality and Wild Pyromancer together and it is worthy too.

Despite the comparison with The Caverns Below, Dark Pharaoh Tekahn doesn't have the same consistency or inevitability that Quest Rogue did.
