Maybe it's because I play a lot of control... but I am not super blown away by this. I've encountered way too many decks with answers to a turn 10 full mana load drop, Hex and Polymorph see way too much play in the current meta to make me think this is wicked awesome.
It reminds me of Tyrantus for being a boring legendary and just an expensive pile of stats. In some cases it's going to be better than the druid card - it can take 4 hits before it finally dies - but this doesn't make it a good card. I'm not interested in either running it in my decks, nor opening it from packs.
Easiest way to do that would be to make cards retain, while on the board, whatever cost reduction mechanic they have in your hand. Sea giant on the board would adjust the cost based on the number of other minions on the board (5 minions on board? it reads 5 cost and behaves at that cost for Conjurers Calling). Mountain giant would retain hand size reduction cost, while it's on the board, shifting cost based on hand size, even while on the board. Seems like this is the most sensible nerf available, IMO. Would cut way down on the cheating aspect of the card, and would severely limit the ability to highroll this guy (or any other severe highroll as well).

This card isn't going to see play in any constructed decks, but is going to piss everyone off with Conjurer's Calling. Prepare for a nerf to Conjurer's Calling.

not bad in a long match when I get it from [Hearthstone Card (Pharaoh Cat) Not Found]
I got him golden
A nice sticky card for any big deck.
Not great if you're behind on board but can deplete the opponents resources to nil or pack a huge punch easily.
This card's actually pretty fun in big pally. I was disappointed to open it but it's been pretty impressive.

any resurrect or recruit deck is clamoring to slot this in
This is pretty nice for Big/Duel Paladin :)
Another big boi for my astral druid meme deck, me like
I'm surprised the flavor text wasn't just "TIMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!"

great arena card
I feel like [Hearthstone Card (Conjurer’s Calling) Not Found] might be nerfed because of this card.
Still not sure what to make of this one. First impression was really bad, but there are certain uses to it. Really hard to judge.
I don't wanna see this show up from my OPs conjurer's !
Big shaman and Conjurer's Calling would like this. Not so sure about anything else.

Evolve or conjurer result most of the time... And ok arena card.
