  • New Paladin Spell - Tip the Scales

    Needs context, but probably bad.

Can you believe Call to Arms used to cost half this?

    - NEW CARDS -

    1=Excellent, 2=Good, 3=Average, 4=Poor, 5=Terrible

Tip the Scales (5): This card is just unrealistic to provide good value in arena. You would need more than 7 murlocs for this to consistently be worth playing and often times you dont even get the 7. Nope, purely constructed card.

Fishflinger (3): Average 2-drop that can provide some value. I never like cards that give any kind of advantage to your opponent. I guess you should have slightly upper hand, since you are the one deciding when to play this and the random murloc can even have some synergy with the one already in play, but still, i think if there will be only a slightly better card, you will happily take that one instead.

  • New Paladin Spell - Tip the Scales

This looks pretty tempting alongside Anyfin Can Happen in wild.

A meme deck for sure, but I didn't have the cards for it back when Anyfin paladin was a real deck in standard.

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

Why doesn't Tip the Scales have the keyword Recruit in it? Do they want to keep that keyword only for K&C?

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

It seems like they forgot to mention that Murlocs are part of Palas class identity. ;)

I am mostly a Wild player and I am not sure if the new Pala card is worth there, because 8 mana is pretty slow for a aggro murloc deck. And in a only combo murloc deck there aren't enough murlocs in the deck to be usefull.

On the other side, the new neutral murloc should be an option for aggressive murloc decks, because a random murloc for both players most of the time benefits more the player who is playing the murloc deck and a 3/2 murloc for 2 is fine statewise. I don`t think this is an auotinclude, but should be good enough to be considered.

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

Tip the Scales could be a good card for Anyfin Murloc Paladin in Wild but my version pretty much guts the deck by turn 8 to the point where you aren't getitng much value if you do that. But if the majority of the Murlocs are still in the deck for the Anyfin combo by not drawing alot of cards, then you essentially have a 3rd Anyfin Can Happen. Probably going to need to test it to see if it works or not.

Oh look, its Anyfin Can Happen!

I like it. One of my favorite decks but with Murloc Shaman your pool sucks. Maybe change the card to YOUR murlocs that died this game.

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

A deck that runs Tip the Scales is going to want to run Prismatic Lens and have few spells to insure this gets reduced. Could be a really solid deck build for that turn 5 follow up

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

Murloc pally back? Imagine it in wild with plays like t5 call to arms, t8 tip the scales, t10 anyfin can happen. I mean I know it's slow but it's ridiculous how quickly you can thin out your deck. I just realized this might also be good for thinning out your shirvallah otk deck in standard. Just draw it with Prismatic Lens :D

    A+ for the pun.

  • New Neutral Minion - Fishflinger

Pretty sweet card for murloc shaman. The symmetrical effect is a lot less of a drawback than with Spellslinger because you pretty much know what your opponent is going to get, and chances are your deck is better equipped to exploit murlocs than your opponent's is.

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

Oh look, its Anyfin Can Happen!

  • Tip the Scales

    Murloc paladin again maybe...

  • Fishflinger

Can be good in murloc decks except in murloc mirrors where it can backfire...

  • Two Uldum Cards Revealed - Fishflinger & Tip the Scales

    Murloc paladin is coming back???

  • New Paladin Spell - Tip the Scales

Thought Murlocs were supposed to be shamans class identity?

Nevertheless quite good card both in standard and wild

So other than grommash is there anything else which will be good to copy? Seeing as grommash is also too expensive...

  • Unlimited Fire Elemental OTK (or APM Shaman)

Yes, completing the quest is not going to be difficult, and I agree that lackeys are the way to go. It is a departure from control type of deck which you originally suggested. Which is why I suggested going a midrange route.

Weaponized Wasp is a very strong card, which I want to include too. I am trying to avoid spreading too thin, because the last thing a Midrange Shaman need, are dead draws. Fire Plume Harbinger will be a useless card outside the combo, if the deck has almost no elementals. I am leaning towards a minion heavy deck, which means that Thunderhead may not fit the deck. So many options!

  • Uldum Warrior Card Reveal - Bloodsworn Mercenary

Self damage warrior support... Question is what to copy, there are a few possibilities but which of them will be actually good.

  • Saviors of Uldum: Arena Impact

Bloodsworn Mercenary - 2 - Really strong card, especially mid-to-late game. The value could be tremendous as the game wears on and warrior is very good at pinging things to ensure this has a target. The only thing preventing the score from being a 1 is the fact that you could, concievably, have no target and a dire need to play this anyway so it's a vanilla 3/3 for 3.

Desert Obelisk - 5 - Constructed only card. This card screams OTK or bust. In arena, that's a bust.

Riftcleaver - 1 - All hail our new Demon Overlord! Removal tied to a huge body is incredible. The damage will hurt and you could be forced into hari-kari, but this card will flip lots of boards.

Bazaar Mugger - 1 - The fact that you are guaranteed a minion is huge. Class minions are better value than their neutral counterparts and you avoid the useless spells that don't carry their value from one class to another. Looking at you, Totemic Might.

EVIL Recruiter - 3 - Too draft dependent to get a higher score but clearly a game changer if you've got the lackey support for it.

Hunter's Pack - 1 - Card draw (or generation, in this case) is a weakness for Hunter and this is really solid value even if RNGesus hates you. The weapon pool is solid, the secrets are generally good, and the fact that you get a class-card beast means you're likely getting something decent there, too. Highrolling beasts will make this card bonkers and it's common so expect your hunter opponent's to have several and never run out of steam. Go FACE! Replenish. Go MOAR FACE!!

  • New Hunter Spell - Hunter's Pack

    Quote From ElSabidon

Master's Call will always just be better. And I'm not saying this cardis bad, I just think it will be played as a "created by" card if you need plenty of value, i.e., it's a really strong card you don't want to put in your deck.

But I'd like to remind you of this:

    Quote From No Author Specified

Hunter: Hunters use their wit, ferocity, and an army of beasts fighting alongside them to destroy their competition. Although they lack in defense, their aggression allows them to push through before they need it. A well-timed Secret or Deathrattle can help them gain clutch advantages against their opponent.

    • Strengths: Beasts, face damage, Secrets, Deathrattle
    • Limitations: Card draw and generation, board clear, Taunt
    • Weaknesses: Healing

Good job shooting yourselves in the foot there T5. You don't want Mind Blast or Vanish evergreen, fine. Just don't have your cake and keep eating it.

That class identity memo is going to be an albatross around Team 5's neck until they rescind it. It's a no-win situation really. On the one hand everyone disliked the memo and its design implications, so living up to it will result in a lot of unhappy players, on the other hand it's given everyone ammo to lob memes at Blizzard whenever they break their own rules. We already got an example of how strict adherence to this document has resulted in last-minute post hoc changes (for the worse) in Plague of Madness.

I just hope they come to their senses sooner rather than later and just admit it was an ill-conceived justification for HoF-ing Vanish and Mind Blast. If they don't that stupid fucking memo is going to be Team 5's "Well Dany kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet" moment.

  • New Warlock Minion - Riftcleaver

The Demon pool might be at the strongest point I've ever seen in standard at the moment.  Dark Possession is worth a serious look in a sacrifice style deck.  Bane of Doom is slightly better.  Demonic Project is probably too risky now.  Better too go with the Dirty Rat clones.
