I mean...it's pretty alright if you go first, but pretty weak against Rogue, Mage and Druid

  • Is there a convenient way to view my old posts?

Notifications are not implemented just yet. But they are one of the top priority things we want to bring to you asap.

The best you can do for now is to go to your profile and under Threads tab, you can see in which threads did you respond and you can go and check those threads. Sadly that is it for now. But notifications should be in real soon.

This only shows the threads started, not the ones participated in. Is there a way to see my replies?

  • New Paladin Minion - Sandwasp Queen

Hottest of hot garbage. Even if buffed not worth it (lower health than attack/ do nothing). Magic Carpet maybe?

How do I post new threads on this website???

    2-mana 3/1 is a great statline.

Also, since everyone's horny about Mountain Giants these days, maybe there's an angle to be found here

  • Username Change Request Thread

Could you changed my username to GrobiUnfug.

    There was a typing error.

  • New Paladin Minion - Salhet's Pride

I basically see it as a more effective Acolyte of Pain.

Notably also worth running in Holy Wrath Pally if built around

Can we take a minute to appreciate its flavour text, though?

Oooh, see that wasp! Watch that sting! Dig in the Sandwasp Queen!

ah, Abba! Took me a while to recognize. Brilliant

  • How much gold/dust will you have for next expansion?

I have currently 1600 gold expecting to hit 3K by the expansion release, also I have around 12K dust of extra cards and 6K as dust (cards are more valuable than dust cause of nerfs/hall of fame).

If I knew we would get that many ROS packs over the expansion cycle I would save up way more.. I didn't play arena in a while.. that's probably why my gold count is so low..

  • Three Uldum Paladin Cards Revealed - Brazen Zealot, Sandwasp Queen, Salhet's Pride

The paladin quest will be to summon 1 hp minions? it makes sense since you can complete it without a build around with your hero power or you can build toward it..

My guess the quest is "summon X 1 hp minions" reward "boon of light" (from dalaran's heist): 2 mana give a minion divine shield.

normally each class has 2 themes going for it in the expansion (Except paladin in MSOG which was sad..) so the first one fro paladin is 1 hp minions the other one is probably murlocs, and the interesting part will be the overlap between them (many murlocs have 1 hp).

  • Calling All Big Priests!

People who hate the deck just never played it, yes you can high roll but most of the time you are doing nothing around 5 turns just sitting there with a hand full of res effects and big minions with nothing to do.

the deck isn't op just when it wins it wins hard it's much more frustrating to lose to mech hunter who rush you down in 3 turns rather than a deck that gave you 5 free turns in wild, you can't play your cutesy gimmick deck but that's true about any format.

in wild most games are decided by turn 5~6 cause the power level is so high.

It's a deck that a lot of the time comes back from ~10 hp which it's satisfying most of the time.

I hope people stop bitching about decks in general, people only think about the opponent's broken deck but if you are anywhere past rank 20 you are probably playing something broken yourself.

For example mage is now 10 times more of a solitary game than priest, it can essentially stall forever and kill you in 1 turn doesn't even need to run the quest but it's so easy to complete now and if you have vargoth it's gg.

    Hey there Fluxx,

I noticed that we actually have an achievement count in our profile, but can we navigate an actual list or see what we earned so far or more generally speaking how does it work? From what I can tell, it is probably linked to the site different tab and menu, inviting us to explore the different functionalities available, but how do we know what to search for or what we already achieved? I apologize in advance if you were already planing on briefing the community about it in some upcoming post and I'm just too hasty ^^

    Thanks

Achievements are not fully implemented yet. The counter is there, but that is about it. Flux was testing some functionality. Wait a little bit longer ;-)

Yeah... I was afraid this would happen.

My point was to try and conclude if Blizzard is out of touch. Like someone said, this was along the lines of "don't you guys have cell phones?"

It truly seems to me, that Blizzard has put no thought into why the play rate is so high. It seems they think a deck can only have a high play rate for 2 reasons (winrate, and fun). I personally think it's being played so much for a 3rd reason, and I was wanting to hear from BP players to get a sense if I was correct. Maybe it would have been better to create a poll...

Sarcasm in my initial post aside, the problem with your idea is the audience which you want an answer from. The majority of people who play big priest are extremely casual players. They're not interested in participating in a Hearthstone community so the odds of them seeing your post, let alone responding to it, are extremely low. The same would most likely happen even if you try to take this discussion to a website with more traction such as Reddit or Blizzard's own forums.

But yeah, Blizzard are completely out of touch with wild, its community and its meta. They have shown this time and time again. It took them ages to nerf Giants warlock and they decided to just butcher it completely. Meanwhile big priest has been left untouched for years. Additionally, they nerfed Quest rogue and Kingsbane rogue because of their polarizing matchups and how they invalidate control decks. Yet here we are, with big priest doing the exact same thing.

  • [Game] Name another card that has the same...

    Bomb

Card that defines an archetype (in this case: Bomb Warrior)

Fuck mage, period. I'm sick of the class, atleast play fucking Khadgar. Jaina my fucking arse with your god damned annoying emotes.

    Dragon Priest.

  • Jade Shudderwock Shaman, but it's a deck on an account I haven't played on since Karazham

I disenchanted some golden versions of cards I already had two normal copies of, and now I'm at 1075 dust. If I also disenchant golden version of Mind Blast and Vanish, aswell as a useless legendary card (managed to get Illidan), I'll be at 1675 dust, which I'm more likely keen on spending on Hagatha the Witch. I should then find some other ways to include Devolve.

  • Mad Hatter Villain

Have you tried vargoth in this deck? Plenty of synergy!

  • RoS Exodia ft. Nozari

Nice. I see a use for my golden Nozari and I upvote.

Edit: 1st game and Nozari was instrumental to stabilizing before the win. 2nd game didn't need him. 2-0 so far (at rank 8 lol).

  • [Game] Deck Doctor Challenge!

    Initial game:

    • queued into mech hunter
    • started off surprisingly well with rat into carpet + rush lackey to clear some stuff (I almost went with rush an acolyte instead but it was too slow)
    • mass dispel did work against magnetized stuff
    • not enough mana to actually combo cool stuff with carpet, especially when we don't have many 1 drops before shuffles as well
    • still died because we priest lol

    Initial thoughts:

    • Priest sucks, but thankfully priest removal doesn't suck as much as the rest of priest : - nova, + hysteria, + forbidden words, - mass dispel, 2x pyromancer
    • We're also missing a lot of other priest cards that don't suck : +2 northshire cleric, +2 PWS, +2 EVIL conscriptor (why are we running rat but not this??)
    • Cult master, shellfighter, ghoul are nice when we combo off, but comboing off requires 1 drops already shuffled then draw and also a carpet, which is 3 mana.  That's too ambitious
    • Divine spirit combo is a good finisher, but we don't actually have many high HP/low attack things to use it on
    • deck looks a lot like post-vanish nerf pogo rogue shuffling 1 drops with carpets.  We can learn a lot from this other deck.  Like pogo rogue, this deck has few natural 1 drops but puts them into the deck to be drawn.  Drawing is important, so let us draw cards : + Jepetto ... maybe more later
    • +2 divine hymn -2 rabble bouncer because hymn is really good with pyro cleric and we need to make space somehow
    • We seem to be a bit light on spells to support grave horrors but let's deal with that later
    • Need a finisher to kill the opponent at some point, but let's worry about that when we can get the cycle combo working

    First results:

    • Beat some burn shaman with hymns and horrors.  Seems like horrors are fine enough with this few spells, however there doesn't seem to be enough spells to support pyromancers
    • "1 mana" horrors shuffled with the spirit don't work with carpet :( :( :(
    • Apparently a combo is kill your dead ringer with spirit on board, draw it and with carpet play 7 of these.  IMO this is rarely going to happen and conspirators aren't worth cutting for this.  I had spirit, carpet, ringer on the board, killed one ringer and the deathrattle doesn't even pull the copy that was shuffled in LMAO.  There were no other deathrattles.  Looks cool on paper but when it literally doesn't work in practice, we better just remove the entire thing
    • Deck still seems kinda bad.  We can win vs faster decks by outvaluing and doing priest things but our finisher still sucks and the combo never works (and it doesn't kill).  Carpet does nothing until spirit is drawn and used.  Only one thing to do when your combo is inconsistent: add more draw!
    • No priest draws faster than nomi priest and as for killing people, let's try Alex and 2x lifedrinker.  Need to test this out later when I have more time though
  • magikman's Reno Mage

Love this deck! I'm thinking of crafting it, but I can't afford Inkmaster Solia and Barron Geddon. I'm thinking about replacing Barron Geddon with Flamestrike and Solia with Emperror Thaurisan or Zilliax. What do you think about that?

    Quote From doingtheobvious

You don't need Lava Shock - the deck shouldn't be too heavy on overload cards in general. Devolve is a life-saver, strongly recommend teching at least 1 in. To help in that regard I would also switch from Ancestral Knowledge to Far Sight.

e: I also forgot, Likkim is a solid tech choice for removal and making overload less of a burden.

Aya Blackpaw is a safe craft but Da Undatakah and Swampqueen Hagatha are too slow for a list that is already defined by being slow. You may want to consider Hagatha the Witch instead. For both help with board clearing and potentially useful Shaman spells you did not tech in.

I considered Hagatha the Witch for some time mainly for her AoE, but I initially strafed away from her because I didn't want to damage my own Golems with Shudderwock. But considering the AoE might still be useful as removing minion-based counterplay, and her Hero Power might come in handy sometimes, I'll consider your choice. Also 5 armor is nothing to scuff at
