I really liked the Rise of Mechs event and wanted to try my hand at doing something similar for wild. I looked for cards that needed mana discounts to become viable in wild and I looked for cards that had cool abilities if I made them Battlecry and Deathrattle, instead of just being a battlecry or deathrattle. My hope would be that some tier 4 and 3 decks might make use of these changes, or that entirely new decks might emerge.
This game can suck it. Casual, ranked, no matter what mode, it's been a negative experience for me today. No matter what deck, no matter how hard I try, no matter what I do. Sometimes it takes too much effort to call this activity "playing a game."
jesus whats up with these new paladin cards, cant we get control paladin support? token/aggro paladin is like the most boring archetype and the most annoying to play against
I don't think it's that out there, just a smart and slightly overlooked pick. It's been around since a month or so ago when people brought it to grandmasters. It's favored against Mage which is the majority of the field. It doesn't do well against warrior but with so many mages you don't expect a lot of warrior. The undertaker side deck is solid against warrior but it's still warrior favored if they play it a certain way.
The problem was that now with Luna's Pocket Galaxy, even mage's bad matchups become super winnable if you draw that card. That card has pushed that deck over from being one of the strongest decks in the meta with a high skill cap and some highroll potential, to a high skill cap deck with the highroll potential of easily winning any matchup.
I'm currently sitting at 9600 gold (I think that I'll get to 11k, though my goal was 12k) and 19k dust (but consider that in the last 8 month the only card that I crafted was Zul'jin).
If my current cards and my future pack will allow me to do so, I'd like to come back to the Control archetype with what the meta has to offer.
I'm at 6900 gold, and 1370 dust. Probably will have around 8200 gold when the expansion hits. I'm thinking of buying 20 SoU packs using my gold, so I can craft a cheap meta deck, and save the rest for the new adventure in September, which will probably bring me down to around 5000-ish gold when everything is all done.
I noticed that we actually have an achievement count in our profile, but can we navigate an actual list or see what we earned so far or more generally speaking how does it work? From what I can tell, it is probably linked to the site different tab and menu, inviting us to explore the different functionalities available, but how do we know what to search for or what we already achieved? I apologize in advance if you were already planing on briefing the community about it in some upcoming post and I'm just too hasty ^^
Not much. 3k dust 5k gold. Reason why i went full wild a year ago. A lot cheaper cause u dont have to spend much since rotations and exp don't add much in wild

So much for a control meta. Looks like a lot of tokens for Druid and Paladin.
How much gold/dust will you have for next expansion?

How much gold/dust will you have for next expansion?
I currently have 570, but I'm simply saving it for the first few sections of the solo content so I can buy the rest with cash.
New Priest Minion - Psychopomp
Psychopimp
New Paladin Minion - Brazen Zealot
Possibly good with Magic Carpet
New Paladin Minion - Salhet's Pride
Destroy target 1/1 minion/ overload your opponent 2 mana (and maybe take damage) 3 mana draw two cards.
Except against aggro a good card on curve! Not so good later into game.

Perhaps with all the 1HP minions, there will be mechanics (lackeys/spells) to give them Reborn?

I see that you actually don't play wild. Odd pally blows both of those decks out of the water.
