That idea occurred to me while editing my guides. If there are new deck-guide features being implemented over next site updates, I believe this feature should be considered. We use tables and scripts such as cardimg, yet we can only see our "real template" after deck-guide is saved. If we don't like it, we need to edit a guide over and over again, which can be time-consuming. What if there were "Preview" button that lets us have a look briefly, so that we can save only once, rather than multiple times?
I love articles like this, and I think this should be a weekly report. This is how you keep the game fresh. Constantly reporting the meta and so players can innovate the game. Soon new cards no one uses will start becoming popular to have bold new strategies.
Sure you were clear, maybe i wasn't: my point is a large portion of BP players are actually "intruders", not really Priest players, just people who like memes and stomping with phat minions.
So that even if there is a different Priest t1 deck, the BP population would remain mostly the same (unless that t1 deck could also counter BP).
Ofc i have no proof, but your own case, plus an analysis of how Priest historically works, compared with BP, suggest the two things are only loosely related within the Priest population.
Imagine that you have to design new Hearthstone's expansion.
The trick is, you know, that there will be no more packs. Each card will be available for a small amount of gold.
How do you design all 135 cards, so that every one of them will be cool to buy?
-------------------------------
I'm asking because I'm developer and Acivision wants me to make more money, but thay can't sell lootboxes anymore, and I don't know what to do with all 90 bad Uldum's card ...
I think you just contradicted yourself there, at least partly. You were a Priest main, but abandoned it, because you found it lackluster. You didn't dig into BP, even if you could.
I played Big Priest in different forms in the hope to find something interesting, but I failed: that archetype is awfully boring and pretty brainless. I changed class because other archetypes of Priest are not even close to Tier 2 in the actual meta. In order to play a control or combo deck I've turned to something else, not without sadness.
About the BP's population what I was trying to say is that it is dominating the entire Priest's popultion in Wild: almost everyone that is actually playing Priest, is doing so with Big Priest. If you want to use the class for a climb, you don't have many choice: go Big or prepare for an awfull time on Ladder.
Sorry if I wasn't very clear, but I don't "main" english :(
There are many other decks out there using Command the Dreadhorde as a finisher (Esper control, 4C Dreadhorde) that don’t even use The Wanderer. They simply use other heal mechanics to survive CTD life loss.
I also opened 2 of them but can’t afford the other rares (*#%! Dual lands...) to build the ful deck
Considering that OoC is absolutlye new, it needs all the spotlight it may gather and a prominent streamer (even if he's not a dedicated HS one) is indeed a good thing.
I don't really understand how people can wrote down such thing like "consipracy" theories and the like. Get over it dudes and chill out.
When my opponent spams emotes, I still don't want to mute them but I fake doing it. I keep my mouse on their hero for a couple of seconds. Sometimes they see it and stop spamming.
I used to love the Dragonlance book series when I was a kid. When I started playing Hearthstone, the classes I liked most were warlock and warrior, who put me in mind of Raistlin and Caramon Majere, the dark mage and warrior who were brothers in the series. So, Majere.
Aha unreal. Great choice! Mine has been variations of Gnimsh, also from Dragonlance. Hence, Gn1m
I don't have a screen shot, but mine was Mage: Burning Wit hero power. 1st passive power Stargazing. 2nd passive power Emerald Goggles. Thanks to the friendly encounters, I got Coldarra Drake and was able to not only select it to be in my opening hand, but got copies of it in my deck. Nothing like a deck of "free" minions and spells every single game.
I would love if they'll implement a new format, alongside with Standard and Wild, that has a monthly rotation of sets (like the Arena) for constructed. It could be so much fresh and entertaining.
Well, my OOC Name comes from my time playing World of Warcraft - i played a Gnome Mage and i wanted a funny yet a little mischievous but still silly sounding name and therefore FieselFitz was born :)
Cause Fies is a german (mother language) word for evil and Fitz is another word you can use for Family or little - sure there are other Platforms like Xbox Live i have other usernames but on Forums and stuff i mostly use FieselFitz :)
When I finally beat Heroic Kadghar, my warlock deck had 5x Mal'Ganis and some of the strongest demon in-game. And thanks to Robe of Gaudiness + Emerald Goggle - and a discount at the tavern - I could get Mal'Ganis on board by turn 1 or 2, follow by multiple clones ^^
I always pick big minions so whenever I get Robes of Gaudiness, I have a pretty strong deck in my hands. I've never had an autowin deck though like some of you posting before me.
One funny deck that I had included a 5/5 Feral Gibberer. I think I only drew it once in my opening hand but that match was worth it :D
Did it add a 5/5 or a 1/1 to your hand? id think 1/1, right? Not entirely the point, but just wondering :)
As AliRadicali said below your post, the buffs do stay. Endless 5/5s by going face :D
Did the forum navigation change on mobile? At the top of the screen it used to show each subgroup but now only shows the current one. In other words, it would show Forums > Site Support > Thread Name. Now it only shows the name, and I can only go up one level at a time. It makes forum navigation even more difficult on mobile, since the top-right drop down doesn’t fit onthe screen.
Yes those are called breadcrumbs and they were modified because they can't be formatted very well in a mobile layout.
Breadcrumbs are less derp on mobile. They now act as a "back" button.
So looking over this, most of the points have already been discussed heavily as fan theories, including class skins, the Tinker class, Nya'lotha, Saurfang sacrificing himself for Sylvanas, Bane becoming Warchief, ETC.
So the things I would focus the most on, is the amount of relatively new information.
Dragon Isle makes sense, considering Wrathion still is a thing, and is still doing some things behind the scenes. Usually, he and his agents have been pretty open to us, the adventurers, but as of 8.2 there will for the first time be an agent of his, that actively refuses to give us any information regarding their mission.
The Shadowlands makes sense in the same way, as we still don't know who told Vol'jin to recommend Sylvanas as the next warchief. It is quite heavily suspected that someone with relations to the shadowlands have been pulling strings behind the scenes.
The last new thing is the new Pig race, that isn't Quilboar. It seems like an odd inclusion, if the leak were based only on realistic theories. This is the nail in the coffin that makes me think that this is actually real.
RegisKillbn is one of the genuinely nicest guys, understands the game pretty well, and takes time out of his schedule to design and stream fun decks for newbies and pros alike. Out of Cards is still trying to get established and content from a popular streamer like Regis helps them do that. What's not to like about all that?

Fight the System! Biggest Counters to Popular Meta Decks

What can be done to steer priest away from just the rez/big strat?

Theoretical question about the expansion's design.

...just joking. I'm no one. hehe. So funny. lols

But seriously. How to do that?

What odd behaviour patterns do you have that soley exist in hearth stone?

Deathrattle Warlock
A simple man, a good man.

Deathrattle Warlock
I haven't played it more than a few games, but I have a few suggestions.
I do not like Batterhead, or doomsayer (drawing a doomsayer can lose us the game), and I've removed to mortal coils.
I've put in two spirit bombs, 1 Hecklebot and 1 shriek.
Cards I'm considering at the moment, Earthen farseer and Diretroll (a 2/6 taunt seems to take care of early agression), Perhaps even Lord Geoffrey.
Toki's Wild Bundle Now Available - 56 Wild Card Packs on the Cheap
I was extremely dissapointed, got just 1 legendary, 1 golden epic and 1 golden rare
Spell Damage Burn Mage
Looks like a fun list - sure not the best for Constructed as you said before but could still be decent on the ladder. Gonna try this one!
Command the Dreadhorde Deck
That seems to be pretty much the scope AFAIK / can tell.
I've not had a chance to build it yet tho. :-(
Maybe soon*
