The secondary deck is to counter control warrior, as it puts more big minions on board which are hard to remove. It is basically the only matchup for which you would need Elysiana.
I´m not completely sure about the tertiary deck, but it looks like it should enable a more aggressive playstyle, go for face and remove some smaller minions with doomhammer. In case you can play all the added cards in the same round you would be able to deal 16 damage to the opposing player.
Edit: Looked at his tweets and he mentioned that the tertiary deck is used in matchups against hunter. Still he regrets not changing it to one good against mage because he didn´t know of the leaks at that time.
Thank you very much good sir, your input is deeply appreciated.
Well, Pogo Rogue is also an anticontrol deck of sorts such as Quest Rogue, so it fits a similar role, but others already pointed out big differences. In addition, it's not as strong or popular as Quest Rogue was.
I run a version with sharks, miscreants and SI:7 agents, no Shiv, no Thalnos... It's working well for me, but I only have 7 games with the last version (went 5-2 BTW).
Okay, so I've actually played a bit on ladder, and I've not had this much fun since the start of the expansion.
However, Aggro matchups are ridiculously hard. If you don't find Hellfire or Doomsayer, you're basically done. One idea I had is to add in one or two copies of Spirit Bomb, which got buffed. It deals with problematic early minions such as Underbelly Angler and Keeper Stalladris, and it even makes drawing Aranasi Broodmother early not that much of a 'disaster'. In my opinion, Mortal Coil has been underperforming, except when using Bloodmage Thalnos in conjunction. I'm also looking at Proud Defender to maybe help out a bit.
Also, fun tip: Waiting for both Plot Twists to sit in your hand, before you Elekk + PT, means you can go infinite. Legend has it that Warriors do not like that.
Anyone who's looking for a collectible card game with very different mechanics from Hearthstone, tons of interaction between players (a lot like MtGA, but with better visuals), feel free to check out Eternal! It's available on Steam, android, and ios (I think).
It's my favorite game, has at least 6 different game modes, extremely friendly F2P system (they throw all kinds of free things at you for the first couple of weeks). Give it a try, if you like! If you use my code, you'll automatically be friended to me, and I can help you get started if I'm online.
[My code is all used up. If anyone else is enjoying Eternal, and they want me to put their friend code in here, I can do that.]
EDIT: For new players, here are some excellent ideas for budget decks:
Option #1 is by far the fastest way to just start hitting faces, and you can basically make that deck day 1, as mentioned in the video about it. If you go for something from option #2, there are 5 decks listed there; ignore deck 4 and deck 5 (deck 4 got nerfed after it was posted, and deck 5 is a more expensive version of option #1 above).
If you want a CCG that throws loads of free stuff at you in the first week or so, try out Eternal, by Dire Wolf Digital. It's downloadable for free on Steam, or you can get it on Google Play. I think it's also on IOS.
Plays a lot like Magic: the Gathering, but with much better visuals than MtGA.
I used to play Eternal. But then they nerfed Armory and my experience since then, whenever I go back, has been related to trying and failing to revive it. It has been a while though. Maybe I'll try again this year.
I think there are some versions of armory these days ... but there are versions of almost anything you can think of. It's very diverse, lots of powerful things to do
Just had a pretty nutty game. I was playing bomb warrior against a control warrior. I was forced to just remove things and waste resources to keep tempo for most of the game because he had Boom on 7 and mine was second card from the bottom of deck. This is usually the only way you lose that game as bomb warrior so i was hoping my archivist cards would carry me, and boy did they. This has to be the sickest archivist picks i've ever seen. I got the bomb wrench, elekk, blastmaster boom, upgrade, and some random dude. I had already saved a natural elekk, clockwork gnome, and wrench for after he played his archivist, so I knew he was going to get bombed the fuck out. So i put those bombs in his deck a turn or so after he played archivist, and like two turns later after i did my second swing of wrench, he plays fucking Rafam he got off of pinata way earlier. He gets an Emeriss on a pretty full hand from one of his Rafam cards and all those bombs I put in his deck are now random legendaries so he's very far ahead in fatigue. Probably thinks there is no way.
But then I play some of the archivist elekk/wrench/upgrade stuff and play two full blastmaster booms back from back and just melt him from full health. Was pretty hilarious
Why do you feel the need to capitalize the mon in pokemon? that's weird..
Dynamax isn't exciting to me... mega evolutions were the best I have a feeling there will not be new designs ("galar forms") or mega forms this time around.
Apart from looking at the statss and design and a bit of competitive 6v6 (not VGC) theorycrafting I am kinda retired from that franchise, I used to play a lot of pokemon showdown back in gen 5~6
I am ok with a smaller roster in the game.. I mean.. you have too many of them anyway it's hard to implement them again and again and again in every game.. finding a way to obtain them.. getting a model it's hard.. and it keeps getting harder..
I guess it's just how I'm used to seeing it asa kid. The logo looks capitalized and it stands for Pocket Monsters, so it's just how I've always written it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And yeah, it's completely understandable why there would be limitations in an exponentially expanding roster of creatures that's likely to reach 1k by the 9th generation. Just takes some adjusting to after 23 years of seemingly endless expansion
Barista Lynchen Barista is a great value card and often returns multiple lackeys to your hand to be used again. Because her primary role is value, I'd probably first experiment with either Novice Engineer or EVIL Cable Rat to keep you hand full.

Ask me here about any doubt.
Is Pogo the new Quest Rogue?
For me, it's more like some kind of tempo/jade rouge on steroids(like Skulking Geist doesn't work, and they get +2/2 instead of the regular +1/1).

While it sounds very nice idea, there are two reasons I can't add him and I won't recommend him:

Pun intended.
Next: a removal spell

Stop Going to Hearthpwn to bad mouth the new owners
I agree, that does not make any good.
Have you tried Pogo Rogue?
