  • Acolyte of Pain has Lifesteal, what?

Hah, thanks for letting me know. I have been re-formatting a lot of stuff to look better on mobile, and it looks like i got some extra cards in there when copying the html from another guide; still says 14 but there are 16 cards lul. Fixing now!

  • I'm bored. It's summer. Anyone has any ideas for games for me to play?

If you want a CCG that throws loads of free stuff at you in the first week or so, try out Eternal, by Dire Wolf Digital. It's downloadable for free on Steam, or you can get it on Google Play. I think it's also on IOS.

Plays a lot like Magic: the Gathering, but with much better visuals than MtGA.

I love both Hallow Knight and Ori are both kick ass games worth playing.

If you're getting a hankering for something more tactical I am playing Total War Three Kingdoms right now and am having a lot of fun.

Why did Gallon attack into Ice Barrier... not sure if reward for dodging vape would be enough reward vs risk of triggering Barrier...

  • Legend 74% Win Rate Tess Rogue

She will just play the original 4 cards and not 4+4 (although I believe Shudderwock did stack like that). Keep in mind though that you are able to generate more than just 4 cards by utilizing shark spirits, shadowsteps, and barista lynchen in slower value match ups.

eh, I've won a bit more than I've lost against pogo's I think. The pirate version of rogue with Captain Hooktusk is a lot harder though.

  • Animal companions: how strong are they?

That's interesting.. so a 2- mana "add a random animal companion to your hand"  would probably see play then

Also means some kinda thematic spell hunter based around the companions may work..

The Stonehill was just an example of cards that would bring class cards more often so would get value from companions shifting pools.

I think at 1 mana it might see play, and that's primarily because of Zul'jin. At 2 mana, I don't. Essentially, you'd be paying 5 mana for a card that is worth only about 3.5.

Yes but you would pay that 5 mana over two turns which still allows you to have an overstatted card out on turn 3.

I’m currently in love with Magic: Arena (try at least the new player experience

  • All 9 Golden Heroes!

Congrats! I think warrior will end up being my last golden too. In fact, I still don't have warrior at lvl 60! (I think I'm at 56 now)

I only have hunter and paladin golden. Working on Shammy, Warlock, Rogue and Priest next.

I'm super excited. Haven't played a proper Pokemon gain since Platinum, so there's a LOT of mons I haven't seen before. I don't have a collection of mons from previous games, so while I can understand the issue it isn't a problem for me. Hopefully they'll add more of the missing mons over time in the Wild Areas or as Raids. Dynamax looks like a silly mechanic but it'll be easy to wrap your head around, instead of only some Pokemon having Mega Evolutions or special moves.

I wanted to explore megas more for that very reason: there are so many PokéMon that don't have that form yet! I feel like Dynamax would have made more sense in the Let's Go! versions of the game, given it's considered by Nintendo as a great jumping off point for new players (alongside the nostalgia for veteran players) and a simpler game. Dynamax's simplicity would have fit very nicely in that game in tone and usage. In Sword and Shield it seems very underwhelming, but it's not going to stop me from absolutely loving this game

Also Siphon Soul is listed on there

Under the "Lifesteal" section, Acolyte of Pain is the first card listed as having Lifesteal.

  • Reno Loves Big Beasts!

For serious greed, consider adding Da Undatakah as well

  • wiRer's Control Shaman - Masters Tour Las Vegas

The secondary deck is to counter control warrior, as it puts more big minions on board which are hard to remove. It is basically the only matchup for which you would need Elysiana.

I´m not completely sure about the tertiary deck, but it looks like it should enable a more aggressive playstyle, go for face and remove some smaller minions with doomhammer. In case you can play all the added cards in the same round you would be able to deal 16 damage to the opposing player.

Edit: Looked at his tweets and he mentioned that the tertiary deck is used in matchups against hunter. Still he regrets not changing it to one good against mage because he didn´t know of the leaks at that time.

Hollow knight and Ori and the Blind Forest and both amazing games, loved every moment of both.

If you like games like these I also will recommend to try Dead Cells. It's the best game I played this year! Very time you die (you die alot in the beginning) the levels and weapon you find will chance, witch gives a new experience everytime you play.

    Enjoy the summer friends!

I keep saying Platinum. I actually meant Diamond, gen 2

Mostly, everyone is mad that Nintendo announced they will not include every PokeMon from past games for the National Dex, just the Galar regional Dex.

Since we don't know how big the Galar Dex will be, it's silly to get too upset about an indeterminate number of PokeMon not appearing in this generation of games (which, like I said, could technically get patched in anyways). Some people have said they're leaving the series for this, but most of them are just reacting without full information and as new content is trickled out to us, they'll put their pre-orders in and start planning out their teams.

Just got my 500th win with Warrior, completing my set of Golden Heroes! Yes, I made a post just to brag, but I'm really proud of it. Ok, enough about me. Who else wants to brag?

we're in 2019 though, this isn't really brag worthy

IDK, 2019 seems like it's as good a year as any to brag a little about something one feels is an accomplishment. It's also a fine year to be supportive and generally awesome to each other.

  • No difference between heroic and normal act v

I haven't played normal enough to really assess that, but the heroic versions are running different decklists (except for Norroa, oddly) and Kalec and Khadgar do get a mana discount on their hero power.

What may colour the experience a little is that most of the trashy decks are weeded out before the 8th encounter, especially in heroic. If you're facing the final four with a busted deck then you've probably got good odds even if they cheat a little more.

  • [DoD] Descent of Handbuffs (Dragon Handbuff Paladin)

Thanks for the great guide! Nice deck.

Haven't really been keeping up with the news but always excited about a new Pokemon game. What changes are people so upset about?

Also agree about the Dynamax thing, seems kinda meh. Mega evolutions came with a complete new look and sometimes a new typing, dynamax just makes them big, that's it.
