Tony you have reached an elevated state of Hearthstonery. I only like taking damage when I have the lethal in hand for next turn, or when they hit face while they should have eliminated this minion. I find it impossible to not feel anything when losing. Some losses are worse than others of course. On the other hand, when I win too easily with a deck (I recently won a couple of games very smoothly with some tempo/aggro mage variant) I get bored :)
Actually the popularity of Big Priest is so high because the whole class is missing a good alternative. Priest has almost always lacked a decent finisher, leaving each archetype a less than effective deck.
[...]
I was a Priest main, but I've turned away from the class since it's plain terrible how Devs have decided to just leave it in such an awfull condition for so much time.
[...]
I think you just contradicted yourself there, at least partly. You were a Priest main, but abandoned it, because you found it lackluster. You didn't dig into BP, even if you could.
Similarly, I seriously doubt the current Big Priest population is so large because most of them are Priest mains.
I also seriously doubt people move according to their main class at all. I would argue the meta populations are more defined by how the decks work and perform, much more than the class they belong to.
ie. I am a Rogue main, yet I use Even Shaman to climb, even if I could use an equally top tier Rogue deck (Odd Rogue). I just feel more confident with Even Shaman, and so that's my most used deck for ladder. Despite my main class.
The pogo's start slow and need time to grow, so opponent has time to create own board and threats. And the big pogo's can be silenced/frozen or ignored when your lethal comes first.
Rakano aggro is still an effective budget deck ... as you get higher in the ladder ranks, you'd need a fair number of rares, but you can do it without legendaries. Token decks aren't a huge thing these days, but Grenadin drone still sees play in some decks.
Ahhhh. Ok then. So what sets would I need to buy into to catch up a little? And what sets do I need to avoid?
Its very frustrating when you finally out played the death rattle huntard and have been able to do away with all his minions bombs and stuff have finally setup your wide board to go for the lethal damage that they can clear with this poisonous combo that clears and leaves them a big minion on board. Even more when they top-deck it. And then dare to utter "Well Played". I need a drink.

I would like to give this a try but being F2P on both Hearthstone and MTG:A, I don't think I would have time to play Eternal. But otherwise it sounds fun.
Why does this deck run elemental reaction instead of Far Sight? I feel like with all the high cost cards in the deck it would work better. also, I had to replace archivist elysiana, and the black knight, do you think [Hearthstone Card (haunting vision) Not Found]s would be good? or something else?
You know what? I used to play this a few years ago and I kinda dropped out. I couldn't afford Hearthstone and this. But seeing as I have a near complete Hearthstone collection now, I might come back into it. Do the old decks still work? I'm thinking Drone Decks and Pantsless Rakano... 🤔
Actually, wild is much cheaper long term! While you have to craft a lot of cards from recent expansions in order to succeed in standart, wild uses the same cards, and just a few new ones. I found myself spending much, much less dust once transfering to wild.
I have no idea why nobody commented on this guide yet, after 8 upvotes, but holy cow, amazing work. I ditched Wild, since I had no more time available to rank for both Standard ánd Wild, but I really wanted to get back into it. This deck gives me enough reason to actually do so.
Unfortunately some of the moderators such as Flux have left questionable statements to hearthpwn threads related to the changes that have made many people choose to pick a side. The moderators hopefully did not intend for this to happen but their words only encouraged more hate to the new owners of the website. In my honest opinion it was probably slightly intended due to how badly Flux was burned. I am in favor of keeping the community together rather than dividing it but Flux wants this website to grow and not die. This all could be resolved better, but the new owners of Hearthpwn do not deserve any of the hate. If anything they could prove to be better moderators if people give them a chance. Complaining the website has not gone through many changes yet is beyond silly and petty.
The community was divided by Curse and their poor choices, not by current OOC staff.
The new HP owners don't deserve any hate, but they certainly don't deserve to be helped by OOC community and staff. Nobody asked them to buy a shipwrecked website.
I'm sorry but gong to those threads as a moderator and making lukewarm statements is encouraging hate. Curse made questionable decisions but it did not encourage hate. Continuation on replying to the post and giving lukewarm sentiments is heavy encouragement. If anything Flux even sharing the information that he attempted to buy the website to begin with is even more encouraging of hate. The user base knowing this information doesn't benefit anyone except one individual to have more people on their side.
What you are mentioning is just the consequency of a process that was already in progress, and it was started by Curse.
Once the community was pushed to flee to OOC because HP was closing, the split was already made, and at that point, the new OOC staff had all the rights to evacuate as many as possible from the sinking boat, and i'm glad they did it.
Finally, HP is a complex but awful platform. I'm happy we had the chance to mass-flee towards a new one.
The community would already be fully reunited here, if the new owners didn't try to necro the old website. So, at this point, it's just a matter of perspective.

This is really dirty. The pity timer is 10 packs and they only give you 8 packs each if you never got cards from the expansion before. I have bought from all these older expansions and will not spend the money on this. AND if you didn't didn't play any of these expansions you will miss the pity timer by 2 packs. The first 10 packs are supposed to give you a legendary but most of the time the pity timer triggers at 10 packs instead. This is the biggest scam I have ever witnessed Blizzard doing so far. This is worse than the hero locked behind 80 euros. They just couldn't be damned to give two extra packs could they??? So scummy my god. Why are you people upvoting comments favoring this? There is so many new players that didn't buy these cards before that will miss the pity timer by only 2 packs. It's disgusting.
If you are opening the first 10 packs of an expansion you will get a legendary somewhere in those 10 packs. You don't need to open 10 packs. Sometimes I have had my first legendary show up in pack 2 or 3.
Yes..but over 70% of the time it seems to be given on the 10th pack. You are much less likely to open a legendary before pack 10. If you do you beat the odds.
Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]
Make it a minion with some protective use. Can be Taunt or can be smething else.
How to best react when your opponent has the nuts

What can be done to steer priest away from just the rez/big strat?

Another Naxxramas card
Is Pogo the new Quest Rogue?

Interacting Secrets
That's right, with poly you can't.

It’s almost as if someone is trying to divide us and create two different factions that eternally wage war upon each other.
Perhaps we should drink the blood of Mannoroth? Maybe just a taste?
