A minion-based deck with more removal than you can shake a stick at? Yes, please. This is a 5-star card because it lessens the skeleton deck's reliance on card draw, which is a very big deal.
It not hard at all to build a Pure Paladin deck, so this deck-building restriction is trivial. The only problem is that she's a 7-drop with no board impact, but Paladin should be able to set up for and recover from that with no trouble. I'll say 5 stars because she just might be good enough to enable Paladin to run more than one type of pure deck.
You only need 4 class card hand to get the full effect, and it's a considerable effect. I give it 5 stars because it's on par with a 5-star card from days of yore, and it fits into nearly every Paladin archetype.
It's kind of petite for someone called "biggun." However, this kind of deck will find it extremely easy to infuse this guy, so the value will nearly always be off the charts -- 4 stars.
Your opponent would be foolish to play into this, so don't expect to be hitting ginormous enemy minions with it after it's already on the board. You might catch one as you play the location, but no more than that.
Other than that, it looks like it's supposed to go into a Silver Hand - Quest deck, which is fine, but that deck has better ways to buff your dudes. I think you'll more likely be buffing the non-Silver Hand minions you have to play to complete the Questline. It's pretty OK for that purpose, so 3 stars.
Paladin is always a powerful class because it has powerful class cards. Even non-pure decks tend to run very few neutrals. You are not going to build a Paladin deck with mostly neutral cards just so you can use this thing as a tutor.
So, with the tutor myth debunked, what's left? A 3-Cost spell that discovers a card in your deck and maybe draws an extra copy. That's pretty bad. This spell is worth no more than 2 stars.
I saw there were a lot of frustrated people over this. They've definitely dropped the ball... once again. The drop window after the stream was supposed to last longer than the mere 10 minutes we got; certainly not less than an hour in total.
Aside from Theotar, the Mad Duke no must play/own cards in this set really. So, it's primarily going to be Arena as usually with some Highlander decks sprinkled in in Wild. I'm probably starting off with this list right here.
Yeah, mine stopped at 80%. I even logged in 10 minutes early and went on to do some work. Came back later to see that they have changed the stream, so the drops weren´t active for me. I quickly refreshed the stream but didn´t have much time left anymore. They could´ve left the stream open at least for an hour.. Ah well :/
Hey everyone, I was just wondering why does Southsea Captain work the way it does... When played he grants +1 attack and +1 health to all pirates as it should, but if I kill it, the health total of other pirates doesn't revert back by one.
If this was a battlecry I would understand the reasoning, but being a temporary buff to your pirates (as long as the named card is in play) why would the +1 health stick?
For the billionth time, the way HS handles announcements is terrible. Well, I came to this site because it was the only way to catch announcements and you all announced, so good on you for that one.
Only useful if infused, the problem with infusion is that you have to have the card in your hand waiting for infusion, so most of the cases will be a dead card
Kind of expensive if not infused, but I like that you have the option to play it uninfused if you have some biggish minions. Still, it's clunky, and there are better options that are not much more expensive, so 3 stars. A control deck might run it if it wants as many clears as it can get.
+3 Attack for 0 mana is really powerful, but having to put a card back into you deck without replacing it hurts so much that I don't think this actually seems like that good of a card.
New Mage Spell - Frozen Touch
A minion-based deck with more removal than you can shake a stick at? Yes, please. This is a 5-star card because it lessens the skeleton deck's reliance on card draw, which is a very big deal.
New Paladin Minion - The Countess
It not hard at all to build a Pure Paladin deck, so this deck-building restriction is trivial. The only problem is that she's a 7-drop with no board impact, but Paladin should be able to set up for and recover from that with no trouble. I'll say 5 stars because she just might be good enough to enable Paladin to run more than one type of pure deck.
New Paladin Minion - Stewart the Steward
The stewards are a race of small owl-like servants to the kyrians in Bastion, one of the four afterlife settings in WoW: Shadowlands.
New Paladin Minion - Elitist Snob
You only need 4 class card hand to get the full effect, and it's a considerable effect. I give it 5 stars because it's on par with a 5-star card from days of yore, and it fits into nearly every Paladin archetype.
New Paladin Spell - Promotion
It's ... just OK. I give it 3 stars because there's an archetype that can actually exploit the fact that it costs 1.
New Paladin Spell - Divine Toll
It is a significantly worse Consecration, worth exactly 1 star.
New Paladin Minion - Sinful Sous Chef
Ideal stats for a 1-drop deathrattle, and it gives Dude Paladin exactly what it needs, more dudes. I give it 4 stars.
New Paladin Minion - Muckborn Servant
A taunt that discovers a class card is pretty much an auto-include, and that means it gets 4 stars.
New Paladin Minion - Buffet Biggun
It's kind of petite for someone called "biggun." However, this kind of deck will find it extremely easy to infuse this guy, so the value will nearly always be off the charts -- 4 stars.
New Paladin Location - Great Hall
Your opponent would be foolish to play into this, so don't expect to be hitting ginormous enemy minions with it after it's already on the board. You might catch one as you play the location, but no more than that.

Just My Card Type - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
Very good improvement over the previous version!
I initially thought it was inspired on Medusa rather than on the sirens, given her hair are snakes and she turns into a location (ie, a statue)
In any case, it has interesting mechanics and flavor. Impressive job for a first timer :)

I missed the first 5 minutes and get to 96% and stopped. The campaign is active until 12 PST but isn't giving more advance.
I am very frustrated right now

Welp, I missed it. My folly for thinking it was safe to go off social media while the Grandmasters was going on.

So, the stream lasted for 44 minutes only? No wonder I missed it.

if there is ONE class the Dev team couldn't help but nutting about every time a card was proposed, it's Druid.
sorry, Priest players
