Hey bro, I read all your feedback, and I remake my card less complex.
Serin is Inspired by Siren, the monster in Greek Mythology.
Why Taunt and Secret?
- Siren seduces passing navigators with singing and sinks the ship, so does Serin put people in danger (Secret) with hair.
Why transform into location?
- If you are geting into the danger (Confused by Secret? ), you can't fight and deal any damage to Serin, until you solve all the problem with Serin's hair.
If I was supposed to can not hurt it, why it transforms into minion?
- emmmmm...Serin wants to fight...
PS. the Durability equal to the Health when Serin transform into location, so does it transform into minion. for example a 7/3 Serin transform into a location with 3 Durability.
There seems to be a bug currently in the deck builder where including The Relic Vault (the DH location) will cap the deck size to 2 cards and thus prevent building and saving a deck. This bug doesn't seem to involve other locations (I tried at least 2 others like the Hunter one). So it seems to be tied to this specific one.
I have been pretty hyped about this game but I really don't fancy the collection system. The fact that you can't get the cards you want and have to rely on RNG and grinding is just putting me off. I don't mind spending money to get myself started, and then gather ressources after I have found a couple of decks I like.
And Nexus events just seem like a all round terrible idea.
It is still beta, so it is too soon to draw conclusions about card collection and monitization. I just really hope you don't stick with their current system.
Hey I like this thread: let me give my own two cents!
Disclaimer: I haven't watched a single minute of theorycrafting streams, so I don't know anything about how the new cards are.
Demon Hunter - If I manage to open Artificer Xy'mox, then having some Relic shenanigans seems mandatory.
Paladin - Pure Paladin and it's not even close. If I find myself liking the archetype, I may even consider recrafting Lightforged Cariel.
Priest - Thief Priest is one of my most favorite archetypes.
Warrior - I am going to try and see if there's a Unicorn Warrior somewhere hidden among the new cards. Plus Remornia is so cool.
Achievement Hunt - Not really a class, but I am going to complete all the easiest achievements we're going to receive, so that I'll be able to cruise through the first few levels of the reward track. Plus I am a sucker for achievements.
Let's just say this expansion looks interesting enough for me to preorder for the first time in quite a while. Following your example Linkblade,
Aggro Deathrattle Demon Hunter (Wild) - a super successfull friend of mine suggested this would be working and "Aggro Deathrattle" combines my favorite play patterns. Kryxis the Voracious and Magnifying Glaive are the cards I'm hoping to find in my packs.
While Hadronox Druid looks cool, I've dusted my copy of the name giving legendary long ago and am also missing lots of other core cards. Might have a look at a token list with Sire Denathrius as a finisher, but this is low priority for me.
As a former Hunter main, I'm skipping this expansion. Can't see the new cards making any impact in Wild and the Wildseed cards aren't interesting enough for me to get back into Standard.
Mage on the other hand went over the roof with the flavor. Kel'Thuzad, the Inevitable and his army of Skeletons is a day 1 craft for me and I'll gladly play Standard if nobody comes up with a Wild deck that isn't pure garbage. Secret Mage got a lot of updates but I probably won't play it because it's just boring nevertheless.
Paladin feels weird. I can't see where the class is supposed to be going yet, even if there are a few cards I'd like to get my hands on like Elitist Snob. Nothing shiny I'm itching to try out on day 1 though.
Priest might have received the biggest number of cards I want to add to my collection. I'm no fan of the Inner Fire archetype, but the support cards Anduin gets with this expansion are so versatile I can picture them in a lot of decks. I've also kept Kovachut's Thief Priest among my deck lists all these years and I'm looking forward to try and add stuff like The Harvester of Envy or Mysterious Visitor to it.
The Secret package Rogue got may or may not be enough to build a good Wild deck around, but it will certainly be entertaining to bring out Shadowjeweler Hanar once more and Bamboozle my opponents :))
Totem Shaman. 'Nuff said.
I'll lean back and watch other people figure out which Warlock combo is OP this time, might jump the bandwaggon and capitalize on it though to get closer to that sick 1.000 wins Hero portrait.
Enrage Warrior might be a similar case as Skeleton Mage which is an archetype that's so close to my personal sweet spot that it makes me switch to Standard to play it. I also need a halfway viable deck to use the Sire Denathrius skin with. Might have to craft Captain Galvangar after all :/
When it comes to the Neutral section, I'm super happy about the disruption package we've received with cards like Theotar, the Mad Duke, Ashen Elemental or Steamcleaner. I have high hopes they will help tune down OP combo bullshit in Wild. Crooked Cook is a great draw engine for aggro that provides a nice alternative to Voracious Reader, there's a Deathrattle package that might be on the brink of being good enough for Wild (Masked Reveler, Bog Beast, Sinrunner, Stoneborn General) and who knows what other cards will surprise us.
All in all I'm looking forward to this expansion that brings us a lot of interesting cards and some super cool flavor. May the legendarys flow in your packs and RNGsus ever decide in your favor!
Not sure if this is common knowledge, but there is another event after the theory crafting stream to earn a pack. I think this is this expansion's version of the crab rave.

As much as I feel like Ben Brode holds the majority of the responsibility, I would also say that the rest of the dev team which are also ex-Hearthstone devs and card game veterans should very much know their own player base. Not to mention they advertised this game as F2P while locking cards behind a paywall.
Also no one is begging to spend money to craft cards. That is literally the opposite of what people want. We want to be able to chase towards cards while not spending a cent and not actively getting screwed over by RNG. You can't call their actions as clueless because if their reactions to boosters have not been clear enough, they don't want you to get cards fast without paying. Their business model literally is a gacha system. Pay money, get a chance to get what you want or get faster progress.
I think that Tome Burning is going to be a reasonably strong card so I am going to experiment with that. Particularly in a Sire Denathrius OTK.
On a side note, it would be cool if every class in the deck builder could have one of the general archetypes in the archetype the way Demon Hunter has (Control, Combo, Aggro, etc as opposed to specific Archetypes) since it seems only Demon Hunter can do that.
Clueless? Not so much. He has many experience in this. How many years do you think he got in HS before eventually set up SD? No. Once your mindset is to grab money, it's always gonna be like that. It's pretty hard to remove bad habit you know.
Maybe the one that are clueless are the people like me who believed in him that he was a good person and is willing to quit HS because he cared. And that hope has been killed. He is the bad guy all this time.
A side note. Nexus Event is twice a month, with pity timer of 50 box to get 1 of 4 super rare items. (2 cards, and 2 cosmetic) 50 box is equal $112.5, thats $450 max if you get cards last, x2 events and thats a $900 total for a month. Even HS is still in the $130 every 4 months. Marvel Snap is a scam.
This is one of the news that I like, TWITCH free drops. The time span of grabbing one is so short, but I never afraid to just let my browser, set it 2 hours + 2 hours and auto shutdown, and just do my things. Never fails me. Wish there's more than just 2, or more Twitch Drops.
And screw anyone in Blizzard who decided using YT drops.
Having watched the theorycraft stream, there's a few decks I think has potential, and would like to try myself;
Relic token demon hunter - There's some potential in a token dhunter deck with the relic as support. Especially with sinful brand's potential as a finisher.
Wildseed face hunter - Saw how wildseeds work in the theorycraft and it looks strong as hell. Especially considering how bad face hunter was in sunken city, this one has strong potential.
Im almost 100% sure there's going to be at least 30% all playing druids, so at least this one can work well at launch. Somewhat anyway
Skeleton mage - Looks nuts. I was initially cool on the cards Deathborne but if this works its devastating. We all already knew how good Nightcloak Sanctum can be, with two down its almost broken. Probably going to get nerfed if this deck goes up the tier list.
Mad duke shaman - For some reason Ive seen zero Theotar, the Mad Duke being played but this is one deck Im excited to try, if only because I know everyone will be playing druid to some capacity.
Load up your hand with useless junk from schooling and then trade your fishys for great stuff. Worth a laugh if nothing else. This is one legendary I'll be crafting because Im 100% convinced it would be playable in some capacity.
As for individual cards;
Kael'thas Sinstrider - Ive seen plenty of streamers play this card. Seems good even if its nowhere near as insane as its sunstrider cousin. Probably going to try it out myself in token druid and see how that goes.
I called him clueless and said I'm not sure if the game can fix itself. That's not a defense of him.
I'm just trying to figure out why the game is set up this way, because it's actually a horrible way to earn money. Gamers are begging for a chance to spend money to craft the cards they want, and they're being ignored. That seems clueless to me.
Kryxis the Voracious Love Deathrattle Demonhunter. I actually love the soft discard stuff they got as well. Seems really interesting for outcast manipulation.
They know exactly what they are doing. They are trying to scam the mega whales for all their worth before they make a half hearted apology and slightly scale the price to where only regular sized whales can feast. Stop being a Brode apologist it's pathetic
I still haven't changed all the old spells to use spell schools, but I did document what they would all be.
Here is the spell schools of all spells from the original Basic set all the way up to 2021 Core (and then from that point onward, spells have schools on them anyway):

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... Murder at Castle Nathria for Time Traveler!
Tellni has been invited to Sire Denathrius's dinner party. While the dinner party seemed to be going by smoothly, everyone is a suspect when Denathrius is found to be dead. Was it Two-Timing Tellni? At the Clock Tower? Using his satchel of tricks? People in the chronomantic arts have always been known to put a foot into the territory of dark magic, but Tellni seems to have embraced it a little more than others who study that field. What's his motive? Perhaps he knows that Denathrius created the Dreadlords and aims to get rid of him before he can create more and cause a distraught future?
While at the party, you're also accompanied by Fesh Krieger as a mole on the inside. He may appear to be a typical fancily-dressed butler, but he is actually a high-ranking member of the same origination that Thomas Temporison belongs to, and uses his skills in the field to aid himself around servant jobs. While working under the guise of Denathrius's personal butler. He won't kill Denathrius himself, but he is fully aware of one of the guest's intentions of doing so at the party and will happily go along with their plan. He may even help them sneak something useful into the castle to do that.
Time Traveler in this set features a special tri-spell school synergy with the use of Nature, Arcane, and Shadow spells. Play all 3 schools, and watch as Tellni performs his dark magic to fill your board with 6/6s. You've also got some cards to summon stuff to help with Infuse and other methods of playing with death.
Full Murder at Castle Nathria set
Tokens
Fesh Krieger does not add 3 extra cards directly into your starting deck, but instead puts your extra 3 cards in a separate pile of your decklist that he will pull from when played. Your starting deck size is still 30 and not 33. Your choice of 3 extra cards though must still follow deckbuilding rules and must be cards that you own.
In addition to this, 4 spells have now gained the Shadow spell school (they previously had no school): Ritual of Uprising, Soul Separation, Shallatoah's Presence, and Call of the Naga.

(MCN) What're you lookin' to play Day 1?
Mindrender Illucia + The Harvester of Envy because I hate it when the opponent plays cards, so I just take them.
Another deck that yeets the opponent's hands is a Ghastly Gravedigger deck in the style of a Spectral Pillager deck.
Ultra Aggro DH in Wild because Voracious Reader still exists.
If I get The Stonewright I might try out even shaman. Gigantotem seems nuts with Splitting Axe.
If I somehow get a lot of dust, might try out Tome Tampering before it gets banned in wild. Not a warlock player though.
