Now that the expansion has been out for a couple days players have gotten over their initial impressions of the set and we can talk about honest to god counters to Targon as a region.
I wanted to lay out a few of the findings I have found personally.
1. Lulu and Taric aren't very good against decks with high levels of interactivity.
- The essential weakness of support as a playstyle is that it requires that you develop into your board.
- For example you play this into a 1 drop and you get hit by make it rain, vile feast, or static shock
2. Slow Rampy Targon lists and card advantage lists get beat out by nab and Ionia

- Let's say you're playing dragons, Ionia isn't going to care because they can stun and recall your whole board, and Bilgewater will steal your stuff
3. Day and Night Decks aren't very good...without support that is

- Let's take day man as an example Leona needs dayman and if they can't get one to stick they can't go off.
- But what if instead we had a backup plan in case dayman dies, what if we jammed a wtf lethianthan with Swain
- Or we ran Frejord just to ensure day man had elixir of iron
4. The point is that Targon is a support region in the sense that it needs to compliment the more straight forward power present in other colors.
- The days of just jamming hush into an existing list and pretending it's better are over
- consider grabbing faster celestial plays, jamming huge dude's isn't going to cut it anymore
- Remember that everything has a counter figure out what you need to be playing around.
That's it guys let me know what counters you guys have found for Targon

It looks like the rolling dust cost, as you build decks, only counts a single copy. You hit save, the dust cost rises dramatically.

As someone who climbed on his main account high enough i thought it would be a good idea to create a new account in LoR and try some unranked to master within 14 days starting from no collection challenge and what did i experience? Players in iron 4 ALREADY play 80% streamer decks in ranked.
While i still do fine with the spider starter deck I can only imagine how actually new players got to feel when they come to runeterra and run into the same netdecks over and over that they don't stand a cahnce against if they are as clueless as their opponent.
I expected a lot of the starter decks, being played or some suboptimal jank that actual new players come around with. But 80% uninspired copypaste from "pros"? That is really shocking to me and it makes me really sad to see.

I mean. I'm not the game designer. And I have nothing against control decks. I like playing them.
But has anyone considered that giving control blockers that replace themselves could be problematic? I would have expected a few of them either would have 0 power, or couldn't block. But getting chumps that can potentially kill on block, and also replace themselves with a good spell is a bit much.
When I looked at the Targon cards. All I saw was a boost to control. I did see the synergy with Noxus, but those decks will be easier to deal with than the control ones. The 4/5 is a pretty good roadblock for something that gives you a card.
And if I ever See a Taric next to a karma. I'll probably just concede.
I'm assuming that would be why an 8 defense guy would die to 6 damage. But it's very counter intuitive since daybreak is not a static ability. (Also, is there a way I can see celest…

I've been playing the game for just 3 months. I missed the launch of Bilgewater. So, the question is: is it normal for the meta to be this completely saturated by a single deck right after an expansion? I'm seeing Trundle/Sol like 3 games out of 5, and some other Sol deck most of the rest of the time.
Fortunately, I'm very comfortable with aggro decks, and I think I can manage a positive winrate against the deck, but still - there is an absolutely massive percentage of the player base on one single deck right now, and I find that fairly un-fun overall.
Edit - I will add that I've never seen the meta this completely saturated by a single deck, even after balance changes.
Edit #2 - it may have been a bit of a flash in the pan. A day later, I'm seeing it a lot less.

So while I love celestials, I think cosmic inspiration is just too good. Not only it affects future celestials but your other allies in deck, hand, play too. My suggestion is simple, make cosmic inspiration buff only celestials. I mostly play expeditions and I feel like the first that gets a cosmic inspiration wins and there's nothing else you can do because +2/2 just allows you much better trades.

Not going to lie. I kept the majority of the cards that I felt would be problematic in the current meta and dusted the rest. The good/bad of this is that I have some dust that I am ready to use and get a couple of the cards that I really really want in both wild and standard formats.
Now this is where I am stuck and wonder what direction I should choose:
1) should I say to hell with it and dust the remaining items I have surpluses of to make some of the cards I want/need?
2) hold out in hopes that Blizz will make their nerf targets known as soon as possible so that we can start planning on what we are going to do?
What is everyone else doing?

Discover was largely considered to be an overpowered r and g heavy style of card design in Hearthstones history.
We are seeing Legends fall into a similar category, where for the cost of playing an understated 3 drop you get an overstated whatever you want.

This means amazing removal, top tier creatures, and even niche answers like stuns and silences.
Then you can conceivable invoke as many times as you want after that.
Grinding the opponent down with card advantage and superior plays.
So far we are seeing Targon outperform in every list.
How does deep for instance beat out dragon boy

You can even cheat this out early with ramp or Thresh.
It's like an invincible Karma on steroids.
Let me know how you guys have been finding the invoke mechanic overall.
Take care

When opening packs on desktop I find it a slightly frustrating user experience to always have to scroll back down again to open my next pack because the page refresh means I usually have only the tops of the cards visible.
It would be nice if the 'Open Another <expansion> Pack' either loaded only the card pack fragment or if it 'auto scrolled' back down to the card backs on page refresh.

Context - We're three weeks into the Scholomance Acadamey Expansion. Kael'thas Sunstrider, who was broken before Day 1, has been fixed, but no other nerfs for Standard have been introduced (Mindrender Illucia was mostly for Wild).
HSReplay has the Tier 1 decks as Libram Paladin (58.1%), Face Hunter (57.4%), Stealth Rogue (57.2%), and Aggro Demon Hunter (55.9%).
My suggested nerfs:
Libram of Wisdom - Change the cost from 2-mana to 3-mana. This wouldn't affect the end-game power of the card or of Lady Liadrin, but would make for a much fairer early-game and mid-game. At first I speculated on changing stats or discounts of Aldor Attendant or Aldor Truthseeker, but their stats and effects are generally balanced for the other Librams. You want wisdom? You need to study harder and longer first.
Voracious Reader - Change the cost from 2-mana to 3-mana. There's nothing to over-think here. Make the card slower. Make it harder for a player to empty their hand on the same turn they play this. Make it come down later when the opponent can more easily deal with it. We all knew this card was too good as printed, and it's overdue for a nerf.
Secret Passage - Change "Replace your hand with 5 cards from your deck" to "3 cards." The Soularium was an excellent legendary spell. This draws more, is more consistent, and has no down-side. It's barely RNG to use this card to search for a game-winning Eviscerate or Sinister Strike. Making this change won't alter a single deck-list in current Rogue decks, but would hopefully shave a few tenths of a percent off their win-rate.

I'm dead serious .. I got hella lucky.. char choice plus picks... This took massive consideration , insane patience, and hella fast picks. . The amount of tokens and the perfect picks with the char had me moving at Goku speed. All jokes aside I felt like I was playing chess in central park.... >_> ... All said and done I fought the last battle 4 times .. he was supered up on Demons .. he changed tactics every battle... We were last two and Pretty much at full health... I wasnt expecting him to adapt... Every round.. it was interesting.. that last round after Macaw and Boravine have everyone pretty much 50/50 + my mechs go off Flawless both are magnet with max bombs... Like I said GOKU.. I BROKE HIS SCOUTER.... AND THEN.. I HAVE TO FIGHT KELTH..... I won he didn't quit... Machine gun kelly didn't stand a chance either. It was bombs everywhere..
Post your GANGSTA.. let me see your DMG .. I'll keep the thread up.

I guess the majority of you hasn't been playing a taric deck yet and the majority hasn't been playing with arbiter yet.

The thing about this card is: once it's cost gets reduced by at least 1 mana he becomes invisible in your hand. That means you still get to see him when hovering over him and you still can play him as a card but its very confusing when you notice that your hand has "hole" that is created by the "invisible one" and it can ruin your game in case you should have an arbiter on the left side of your hand, and forget that you have one over the cause of the game.
I just hope that riot fixes that bug because its not 1 time thing but occours ALLWAYS

The idea is to use LuLu to buff cheap low-statted elusives in 4/4's and burst down the enemy.
(Yeah yeah elusives are braindead is probably what you will say)
I'm not sure if this is something I'm experiencing because I took a break from the game, or if it's just the nature of F2P in Legends of Runeterra, but it's a bit of a struggle to actually get cards …

It's a bit odd - LoR is generally one of the most F2P friendly CCGs out there, but specifically in the context of expansions, and because you can't bank EXP, it feels like you're always going to be stuck starting from zero with new cards.
Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me? I like the fact that they ensured Labs meant everyone got to try new cards, but I want to make my own decks with the new cards but don't have the resources yet.
New expansion is not showing when I play on android. Anyone else who has the same issue?
